Hi, it seems that one of the last updates broke some layouts. Featured posts type 3 and 4 don’t display well anymore (cf: https://spotlightthe.me/crush/category/aenean-eleifend/aliquam/ ) and all images in posts are left aligned even when they are forced to be centered… Can you check this please Thx

There’s no such option for featuring a post as a wide page header on the homepage according to our demos.
There’re currently four different featured posts layouts, so you may choose one of them for your homepage.

I saw that there are problems for the sidebar. When I scroll the page, it disappears (ok only google chrome).
Moreover I’d like to know: 1) is it possible to insert a ‘futured post’ only on the categories page (no index page)?
2) Is it possible to create a widget with the first 5 posts of a single category?

There’re three different sticky methods available via theme options. The one on the demos obviously doesn’t work well in Firefox. We’re working on the fix and it’ll be included in the next version update.
As for your questions:
1) Yes, you may add featured posts section on category pages only.

Hello, I don’t have as much control as I would have when using Elementor or Visual Composer
We don’t use any page builders in our themes according to the theme description for several specific reasons.
However we’re now working on a new layout builder on top of the new WordPress block editor and it’ll be added to Spotlight too.
Okay, I’ll wait for you guys before I continue improving on new features. Hope that you will release features that natively work with buddypress, buddypress groups and buddypress events soon.

1) I’m not sure, what section exactly you would like to add. The screenshot of Spotlight you provided is from a page header. A similar screenshot is from another website. The only difference is post summary, which you may add in Spotlight too.
2) There’re four different featured posts types in the homepage, you may use any of these for your homepage.

1) Yes, that’s exactly what I wanted to know. I showed a picture from other theme as an example because I’d like to display a short post summary right after the title.
2) where can I see the four different featured posts examples? Dumb question probably but I can’t find the links in the menu.

The thing is that I love the way the articles page (ex: https://spotlightthe.me/supercharged/vitae-nec-adipiscing-quis-semper-quam-tellus-nascetur-mollis/) is build, but as the owner of a news website (www.raquetc.com) it would be important to have a more-customizable homepage, with more article sections and all that stuff.

Hi, I’ve just purchased this theme. It is very light weight, low on bandwidth, and doesn’t require a lot of resources. I do, however, have a few problems. 1. Responsive Adsense ads placed above or below the header are too large on mobile, in breach of Adsense terms and conditions. 2. The headline fonts are too large on mobile. 3. The newsletter subscription option only supports mailchimp – I use mailpoet. 4. Author name doesn’t show on mobile.

Hi. Noticed on your Demo that all tags are empty, appearing as an overlay on top of the h2 title of the post (and it’s thumbnail), not incorporating it in it.

I assume that presents an SEO issue, since all links are essentially empty.

We have active links to single post pages over the whole post area in archives, while other elements like post meta (post authors, categories, etc.) are linked to the corresponding pages (post / category archives).
In general, this has zero SEO effect. There’re a few major websites running on Spotlight without any issues (the largest project powered by Spotlight has 5+ million page views monthly). All posts are indexed properly by Google.
