Hi guys, noticed someone had asked this a while ago and wondered if you planned to do it in the next update?
Hi ThemeNectar, Is there a way to add HTML (links) to the team member bio section with the “Bio Show Fullscreen Modal” team member style selected? What is the ideal size for the team “Bio Show Fullscreen Modal” image, as it is appearing blown out/pixelated when using the 1200×766 sizing as provided through Salient Studio. Thanks!

Hey NBSync, currently the next update is not adding the ability to add custom HTML into the team member element. The limitation is in place due to how WPBakery page builder saves the content (as shortcode attributes). However the next update is adding some major changes in preparation for WP 5.0

This would require modding the “nectar_related_post_display” function in the functions.php file and then creating some custom CSS to alter the column width

I have bought your theme for my e-commerce page and I have tried to import the following demo as my starting point: http://preview.themeforest.net/item/salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme/full_screen_preview/4363266?_ga=2.200598185.606364895.1542891264-1279248729.1542891264I used the one-click demo import directly from the Wordpress dashboard. After the demo was imported successfully, I opened the website to check it and realised that only the blog posts have been inserted in the demo, but not the e-shop with the products. How can I resolve this issue? Might it be the reason that I should first run the Setup Wizard for WooCommerce?

You do need to install WooCommerce + runt he setup wizard prior to installing the content for an eCommerce based demo. If after you do that things still are not getting imported, Could you kindly open a ticket in regards via the support forum with your admin credentials so we can take a further look into this?

I’m editing the current I guess. I change the words with “SayWhat”. I’m just typing in the words that I want to change. Like the article on your website 
Hey JanKorgaard, the default.po file is currently behind the nectar_salient_strings.pot file – the next release will fix that. However you can still get all the strings by using the .pot file to generate your own .po file

Hey Author’s of my favourite theme ever 
I have a silly question – In the recent posts shortcode, it offers 2 things 1) -1 to display all posts 2) A defined amount of posts
However there is no option for pagination
I know there is a blog shortcode module where you can enable that option but it doesn’t offer the same look as the one on recent posts I’m using.
So my question is, even my means of code or anything. Is there a way to paginate “recent blog posts” module

It would indeed require custom modifications as of now. The file that would need altering is nectar/tinymce/shortcode-processing.php at the “nectar_recent_posts” function. You can also take a look through the “nectar_blog_processing” function (located in the same file) to see how pagination is accomplished

I am trying to change the color of my sales price, but this also changes the color of the original price. Is there a way to use a different color for both options? For example, the original price is black while the sales price is red?

Hey ofmarconi, not in the clients carousel directly – however you could use the regular carousel element, which does have those controls, and then place client logos in each carousel column.

Hi, I’m actually thinking of making another license purchase for this awesome theme but I need to ask first: - Is it possible to transform your shopping plugin into “directory”? Meaning to switch of cart, buying options and just leave filtering for better browsing in the “directory”? - Is it possible to add more types of filters to such “directory”? - If I buy a second license for a second website could I use the support for handling minor issues with the first website too o do I have to extend the support for the first page also. Both pages are mine (my blog and portfolio page).

The Shop plugin Salient uses is WooCommerce – there is a way to disable the purchase functionality through filters and the header shopping cart link can be turned off through the theme options.

Hey Degn, Salient includes the option for a search button in the menu as shown in the demos. make sure in your Salient options panel > header navigation > layout related tab that the option for “Remove Header search” is not enabled.
Is it possible to edit the placeholder text in the search? I am using the material skin. thanks

Hey linwayweb, there’s tons of things that go into SEO however to list some of the top notable aspects – we use semantic markup where possible, proper heading tags for elements + allow you to change them where necessary, follow best responsive design guidelines, auto populate open graph data for posts/projects when none is supplied. Salient is also compatible with popular SEO plugins such as Yoast, All in one seo etc.
