Noticed that my logo doesn’t change to the right color when it gets to the portfolio masonry part. How to change this? It changes everywhere else as it should.
See masonry at www.nyskaparna.se (should be white logo over masonry as in your demo).

1. Salient provides integration for the popular WordPress eCommerce solution known as WooCommerce: https://woocommerce.com/
2. There’s no built in form builder, Salient only provides styling. You can use whatever third party form system you need
3. Salient provide access to a template library for section templates, however it’s not a media library. You still would have to replace the placeholder images after importing sections/demos

I’m having trouble with the Stripe fields for Woocommerce. The fields are too short for someone to enter their credit card details.

The odd thing is they are fine when in Test mode.

I tried installing the latest version and it seemed to break the website. I was using 7.6.
Can I install some version later than 7.6 (but not the current one) to make Stripe work without breaking the overall site? I couldn’t find where to download older versions.

Yeah, I’ve given up on Stripe. Just going to use Paypal, which is fine. My main issue now is I can’t upload new images through the media library. I get the following error “The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/”
I understand that this might be outside of your support. But if you have any ideas, I am all ears.

That sounds like a directory ownership/permission issue with your server. I would just reach out to your hosting company in regards – they should be able to sort that out for you

Hello, We are having some issues with the theme. The Salient Options will not save. For instance, I select that the mobile shopping cart icon won’t show, and set the social media sites to show in the footer, but once you reload, it sets it back. I have updated the theme, and nothing is working.
I have tried logging in to your support, but it won’t let me.

Do you guys know if there are differences in design/layout between the demo site for Salient Agency that you guys run and the version that customers download?
I am mainly contacting you regarding layout differences from the Salient Agency demo and my site, thinking that maybe it would be more efficient if it could look exactly the same as your demo site directly, instead of asking how to adjust on my site.

How to fix: 1. So that the whole section marked as 1. in the screenshot moves up closer to the icons (decreasing the space between icons and their text) and 2. create as much space between text rows as in your demo (see 2. in the screenshot)? 3. Not in the screenshot, but the same (regarding space between text rows) goes for text in other places, for instance under the metrics part of the site – your text says “35 thousand theme users It takes a lot to be one of the most…” and my text says “250 miljarder…”.
Maybe there are more layout differences throughout the theme? I use the child theme. Why are these problem recurring you think? Wish to solve both these mentioned issues as well as the bigger problem with not having the same margins etcetera as in your demo. What could be causing this? (Better to solve it all at once, than me spending my time returning to you. )

I use Salient Agency. Am I using the wrong version or something? If you take a close look, the colors for portfolio items, for instance bg color social media links, bg color view all projects and text color for Mixed Up, in the masonry are different than in your demo (yours pop out more).

I’m running:
Plugin: Salient Visual Composer Version 5.2.4 Theme: Salient Version: 8.5.3
Do I need to change out the plugin? Can I just do a straight disable/enable on the VC 5.2.4 to WPB 5.6 ?
I’ve changed out the VC 5.2.4 to WPB 5.6, will report back if there are still issues.
(Looks like legacy Salient sites that just do straight upgrades will have this issue as the plugins are not synced with the theme update)

Hey AMcDermott, as long as you don’t have a child theme with template overrides, the update process is the same for any other update. You can use the Envato market plugin or FTP the new theme directly if preferred.

Unfortunately both of these items are using javascript to add the functionality/create the sizes so it’s not possible to move the functionality over to desktop solely with simple CSS. I’ve noted the ideas both on the wishlist though

Hi, I’ve tried this in the css tab, but it doesn’t work. I’ve cleared all the cache too check and looked on iphone and ipad, and in dev tools in chrome and safari. I’ve also checked by adding the code to the style.css in the child theme.

Hello, I am working on modifying a website and ran into a couple of problems with the theme. I would like to have a page with a number of most recent posts displayed on it, so I am using the default style for a ‘Recent Posts’ element.
While it looks very clean and nice, for some reason it ignores the <!-more-> element entirely, which distracts from the look because the only content for these posts are images followed by a link (so the post is just the featured image, the title and an inactive link). I would like to remove these links and only keep the featured image/title, is that possible since the link is in the text box and has no attribute for me to use CSS with? Furthremore, I would like to give all the posts on that page (in the recent posts elements) a ‘read more’ button and maybe an individual hover effect, is that impossible or could it be achieved with css?

1. If you change to one of the other recent post styles, you’ll be able to target the excerpt area with CSS however the original classic style does not wrap the text in an HTML element to isolate it
2. This can be accomplished by also changing to another style – the “minimal” style adds an automatic read more button at the bottom.
