Hi i love your design but i have just few issues. I am using a plugin, DOKAN. for a marketplace website with your theme and i noticed some conflicts with the geolocation option. If i activate the geolocation, the store owner list wont show but if i deactivate the geolocation the store list will show. While the banner slider that shows globally in all pages, how can i edit it. i would love to add the partners logo there but i cant edit it. i can only edit the number of banners but i want to add the logos there. thanks

the import demo is not coming with images anymore?

When you import our dummy data you’ll have a website similar to this : https://demo.madrasthemes.com/electro/ which has placeholder images instead of actual images. We do not have the right to distribute the images, we only have the right to use them commercially. Hence our dummy content will contain only placeholder images instead of actual images. Actual images take lot of time to import and usually breaks the importer causing error 500 and other issues. Also your website could be slapped with a DMCA notice in future if they find out about using copyrighted images. It is safer, better and faster to use placeholder images instead of actual images.

1. You will have to create an attribute and call it “Brand”.
2. Once you’ve done that you need to assign this attribute as a brand attribute in Electro > Shop > Brand Attribute : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siGBnK73EGM&index=9&list=PLYq0ehQTXpCROmA2eVQ8s7oHJRpp6Ul30
3. You can now add logos to the attribute that you’ve chosen as brand.
4. Once you’ve added your brand logos you can enable brands slider from Electro > Footer > Enable Brands Slider.

I’m interested in your theme but have some concerns.
I’ve looked at the demos and a few of the sites listed here by other users. It seems it’s been asked SEVERAL times without an answer and I see the issue on many of said sites.
Here are two examples:

When there is only one item in a product carousel line up or any other place where one product gets displayed (such as “recently viewed products”, when there’s only one “related product”, all “accessories” are unchecked, etc.) on desktop the drop shadow is causing the element(s) below to overlap the products or vice versa. Additionally this can cause an annoying “jumping” effect.
In one reply you said it will fix once page is fully loaded BUT this is NOT true. As others have stated. You can wait 20 minutes and refresh and wait another 20 minutes and still have the same error.
How can we fix this?

Okay in that case something like:
.product-outer:hover { min-height: 17.15em; }
should work.
1. Would some other CSS be better? or is the above okay?
2. What about disabling the product hover drop shadow on desktop altogether? I see it’s disabled on mobile. Can the theme disable it on desktop? Or would that take some CSS as well? If so what CSS element would need to be hidden to disable the product drop shadow on hover?
I realize now the above CSS would cause issues in other places like while searching for products. Can you advise a better element to apply the min-height to?
and/or provide an answer to question 2. above.
This would be better than the code mentioned above
.owl-item>.product:hover { min-height: 23.55em; }
Adjust em or px to the height you desire.
Would still like for the dev to tell me if the drop shadow box around products on hover can be disabled or changed at all.

I don’t trust that. From the other person that just commented about this SAME issue. Your answer was this:

FOR EXAMPLE: If a buyer has only looked at one item. There will only be one item in the recently viewed products carousel.
Seems like you’re avoiding the issue.
You need to fix your theme before I buy it or I’ll just look into getting the porto theme instead.
I understand. I am not forcing your to buy the theme.
Recently viewed products is essentially useless since dev refuses to fix this problem at it’s core and only offers private css support to address it.
When I purchase a theme I use these comments to find instant solutions to my issues because chances are others have had similar issues.
The fact you won’t address a small issue on what otherwise seems like an extremely solid theme is concerning to me as someone looking to purchase.
Even if there’s no way to fix this issue without custom CSS due to inconsistencies from site to site the least the dev could do is offer some example CSS here. Especially given the fact based on other comments the dev has had to fix this for people multiple times.

Where can I see the steps to update the theme? A normal installation does not allow it because the theme folder already exists on the server.

The theme can be updated in 3 ways :
1. Automatically : You can use Envato Market plugin to update the theme automatically. Instructions here : https://ibndawood.com/how-to-update-a-themeforest-wordpress-theme-or-a-codecanyon-wordpress-plugin/
2. Semi-Automatically : Sometimes (1) does not work. You should install this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/ , download the latest installable WP theme zip file from your Themeforest downloads page and then upload it via Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and upload the zip file. The “easy upgrades” plugin will backup the old theme and install the new one.
3. Manually : You should download the latest installable WP theme from your themeforest downloads page, rename your current theme folder in wp-content/themes folder, unzip the downloaded WP theme from your Themeforest downloads page and upload it to wp-content/themes folder.
Please note that updating a theme will override any custom changes that you make to the parent theme. Hence we recommend using a child theme. A child theme is not meant to be updated and should contain only your custom changes.

Okay, I was able to update the theme without problem, but WPBakery has not modified its version, it is still 5.5.5 instead of 5.6.
In case it is relevant, in the Envato Market plugin there is a tab to update the Themes but not one for the Plugins
I talk too fast!!

Hi thanks alot for your wonderful theme. This theme is really great. But i just have few issues. I actually want to modify the sign in and sign up page. I dont want to add the email to be a must data and i also want the login page to be just two fields which will be just your phone number or username and password. Are you getting link expired error ?
The error “The link you followed has expired. Please try again.” when it occurs during theme upload, it is most likely due to a limitation on upload_max_filesize and post_max_size set by your web host. Please contact your web host to increase these 2 values to at least 32M. Alternatively you can use FTP to upload the theme.

This is a common issue. CSS stylesheet missing error happens when you are trying to upload the theme package ( usually named electro-vx.x.x.zip ) instead of the theme file ( named electro.zip ).
