Does ‘Sans’ natively support menu sub-navigation?

Natively, the theme does not support drop down menus. If the market overwhelmingly asks for this particular bit of functionality, we will roll it into an update.

Hi.

Will this theme be updated to include self-hosted video

FLV , HTML5, MV4 , WEBM?

Thanks. Mike.

Thanks, Mike, for the purchase. We answer all customer support questions over at http://support.wearepixel8.com.

how easy to change color and backgrounds on pages? in admin? also, top header, can I make smaller in height? thx DJ

Anything that is presentational can be changed to fit your needs in a child theme and some knowledge of CSS .

Wow! This is beautiful.

The only thing missing in my opinion is a responsive player for self hosted video – important part of a creative’s portfolio.

This theme is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Nice job charting your own way.

Thanks. We haven’t found a 100% bullet proof way to make the jPlayer video component fully responsive and device agnostic. This doesn’t mean have given up trying though. ;)

Love the theme. Would it be relatively easy to replace the home page video spot with an image?

Yes it is. Hop on over to http://support.wearepixel8.com and we will point you in the right direction.

Great work on this. Would it be easy to remove the animation from the portfolio section?

It would be a snap to remove the animation in a child theme.

Any plans to make this into an .html theme too! :)

Unfortunately, we don’t have any plans of releasing an HTML version at the moment.

Beautiful work as always!

Thanks, Chris. That means a lot coming from you.

very nice typography theme!

Thanks. We are definitely type nerds over here. :)

Really like this – quite unique and very nice – How configurable is the home page template – i.e. – would it be possible to omit the portfolio area for those of us who would use this on a more traditional business style blog, rather than to display a creative portfolio?

Thanks. Everything on the home page is 100% optional via the theme options so you could definitely not show a portfolio area here.

LOVE the design – look great, but wish the footer could be “used” a little more…perhaps with a twitter feed, flickr feed, etc. Is that possible? Maybe the footer space is already wigitzed?

Also, how hard would it be to edit out the orange areas and replace it with another color? Just some easy CSS tweaks?

Thanks!!!

The footer is not current a widget ready area. This was discussed extensively amongst the folks at We Are Pixel8 but we couldn’t reach a consensus either way. So we decided to leave it up to market research and to let you, the customer, tell us how important of a feature that would be. If we receive an overwhelming request for this feature, we will roll it into an update. But, if this is something you would like to tackle, you definitely can in a child theme.

The callout is comprised of CSS , so modifying it to your needs is super simple in a child theme.

Thanks for the quick response! Going to buy and play this weekend! However, I would LOVE it if you guys added in a more robust footer. Widget areas for contact forms, twitter feeds, and a newsletter sign-up would be killer.

Also curious, can some type of map feature be added into the main contact page?

There seems to be enough hand raising for a footer widget area, so we will seriously consider it.

sliders? Nice design.

We decided to “buck” the current trend and not have a slider on the home page. You can have one in your portfolio and gallery post format, though.

Looks nice! Good luck with sales!

Very nice!! No sliders though? :-(

Only in the portfolio and gallery post format. Our design direction does not call for one on the home page.

I agree that it looks great without one… but to have the option of having one would mean a sale from me and others who need to feature multiple slides on the home page.

Anyway… still beautiful. :-)

Thanks for your input. We do appreciate it and take everyone’s suggestions into our weekly meeting and discuss thoroughly. If the market is dictating some sort of slideshow on the home page, we will definitely listen.

Top stuff! Good luck with sales.

Excellent work. But I do not see a menu on the mobile version. ;)

The main menu is hidden on mobile devices and triggered into view with the Menu button, if javacript is enabled. Please let us know if this is not happening on your device.

Sorry, it looks good on the iphone and HTC :) menu does not appear – if you just change the size of the browser on pc ;)

Thanks. We are trying to monitor the theme’s performance on all devices across a multitude of browsers, so if you find anything that is off, we would appreciate knowing about it.

Wow this actually doesn’t look like anything on the marketplaces & it doesn’t look like a theme! Great job here :)

That was one of our goals so glad someone noticed. Thanks.

Clean and crisp like a snowflake. Excellent theme. good luck with sales!
