Hello, I am not able to upgrade my SpaLab theme after version 2.8.3. When I install a version that is after 2.8.3, I get an error 500 on my whole Wordpress instance after I activate the theme. I have tried with versions 2.8.8 and 4.1, same issue. How can I get some help?

Hi Ramamoorthi, thanks for your amazing support. For the record, the issue came from the “DesignThemes Core Features Plugin” that was still in version 1.5.2 and could not be upgraded automatically to version 1.8. Ramamoorthi did it manually and this solved the situation. Thanks again.

Hello! I updated from version 3.0 to 3.4 (as recommended because 4.0 would break my site). However I went to update Design Themes Core Shortcode Features Plugin and I receive this error:

Our latest update of the theme contains 2 versions of the theme. spalab.zip ( 4.1) and spalab-old.zip (3.4) Which zip file did you update in to your site? If you wish to continue with the old page version then you need to use version 3.4, else if you wish to go with the new visual composer version, then you need to use 4.1 version in a new site only. Please have a look and let us know with further details.

I installed the new 4.0 version on a fresh site, but this page specifically, was installed this way, all the other pages that I will use, are using Visual Composer and without any problems until now.

For the purpose of demo content import we have removed the importer option from the Buddha Panel. Instead of that option we have used “Unyson”plugin to import the demo contents.
Note: Before installing the demo content, please check that your server has the following limits as explained in our knowledge base link else contact your hosting support to do so.

I have ver 3.2. I will put ver 4.0 on a new clean installation. Is it possible to import all posts and pages /from 3.2/ to this clean installation without broke them, or not?

Yes you can install the 4.0 version of the theme in a clean installation and import the post and pages separately from 3.2 version, but all will be shown as shortcodes in the new version backend. May be some shortcodes from old version might not work in new version.

I just purchased Spa Lab 3.2 because I needed to update the theme and I lost my themeforest usser name and password.
I tried to install the new theme following all your instructions and my web appeared in a really weird way (with no layout at all) but I continued installing all the plugins untill I installed “DesignThemes Core Features Plugin”. In that moment my whole website had fallen and I lost the way to access to my wordpress. So I called my host and they told me exactly this plugin was causing the error.
So they deactivate that plugin and helped me to recover my website as it was before I install Spalab 3.2. Now I’m trying to install again: “DesignThemes Core Features Plugin” but wordpress can´t find it. Is it change reccently?
Is it possible than I ca’t see the layout and features of Spalab V3.2 in my site even when is installed because I don`t have that plugin?

No, we have Spalab V3.2 if you have planned to purchase our this version of theme , then no need to use new site . You just update your current spalab theme with this version of theme.
But , we are working on Spalab major theme update version 3.3 ( We not yet released we will release it soon ). If you have downloaded this version ( after release ) then it will not compatible with your current version . So you have to use this version in your new site .
So , you can install Spa Lab 3.2 in your existing spalab wordpress site .

Yes our theme is compatible with php7.2. You can get installed the demo installed using the unyson plugin and no need to start from scratch. Another thing is that, we are going to release a new updated version of spalab with demo contents built with Visual Composer plugin. So if you want you can use that also. We will release it soon. You need to install that in a fresh site and not in the existing spalab site.

Yes , you are right . And you can’t update your version 3.2 to 3.3 , it is completely major update with visual composer code . So you can update 3.2 to 3.3 . If you want to use our 3.3 you have to create a new site with new demo .
