Where are topics defined? I have posted the default submit page on the site but it lists an empty topic list (I do have categories set in WP) and therefore stories can’t be posted.

You need to import demo data first, we already put some sample Topic Category on the demo data.
You can add a topic category in Stories > Categories

Could you assist with a Twitter Login issue as Twitter Login is not working.
When setting up on Twitter the “Callback URL on Twitter says it does not allow query parameters- ” Query parameters are not allowed.”

The login does not work on my domain when I remove the query and just input - https://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

You can try this method,

Sorry, that Callback URL does not work in Twitter. Twitter does not allow query strings in the call back URL.
Instead it needs the query in the “oauth/request_token request”. How do I update the theme to I add in the – oauth/request_token ?
Here is the documentation from Twitter:
Do not add query strings to your callback URLs in your Twitter app’s configuration
Twitter will allow you to pass any standard query strings along with your callback URL in your oauth/request_token request. Therefore, we do not allow you to add query strings to the end of the callback URL that you list in the Twitter apps dashboard.
Example:
- You want to use https://yourdomain.com?source=twitter as your callback URL
- Add this to the Twitter app dashboard: https://yourdomain.com
-Use this in your call to oauth/request_token: https://yourdomain.com?source=twitter

User’s stats messed up. Hi guys, I’m really having a bad time while looking at my users stats. Among my 21 users logged-in, only 10 are showing their real numbers. I’ve realized that only users who haven’t submitted a story are being affected, here’s an example: http://prntscr.com/m5ykz4 (same numbers are showing for all users who haven’t submitted a story). Popular is sorted by Votes too, if the stories has a lot of voters, the stories will also on Popular page.
So recent is never there if old post are very popular?
Not like that, Our theme have Recent Pages for recent stories.
If you still confused about this, please try the demo then try to create a story, you will know where the recent sfory go then.

You can use plugin named is Loco Translate, then generate language file using Loco Translate, then go to: Loco Translate > Themes > Upvote > click ‘Edit’ > find ‘Reply’ and ‘Edit’ > change it.

You can try to change your language to English then change the text then change back again the language.
I tried it man… didn’t worked. Good news is I found a trick that may help you with other translations. I haven´t looked at it in detail but I was able to translate the words “Reply” and “Edit” plus I saw there’s a lot of new words I’m now able to translate in your theme. How to add ‘Active Users’ page
- Create a new page (Pages > New Page), you can give a title as you like (example: Most Active Users)
- Just put this shortcode to the content of that page: [upvote_most_active_users]

Our theme will grab a thumbnail / an image from the URL that your user is inputted.
Example:

- Then our backend will grab a thumbnail from that website and show it on your website (as an image)
