You need to be using the latest version of Salient (v10) as well as the latest version of the Salient WPBakery page builder formerly known as Visual Composer (v5.6) in order to ensure WP 5.0 compatibility. I’m currently seeing that the font is set to 58px and applying to desktop the font does indeed shrink on mobile devices – is that what you’re referring to or are you seeing a value less than 58px on desktop as well?

hey, in the end I tried exporting, resetting and importing the theme settings but that didn’t work. So I then screenshotted all of them, reset them all and re-enter them manually and that solved it. Took a few hours but got there in the end! I guess some kind of database issue, it is wordpress afterall! ... I think you saw it after I’d already fixed most of the issues, thanks for the response though

I’ve used the content the same way it is on the shop page, if you scroll down, you’ll see products with a background in the content area, this one is about. In the mobile view, the background is not fixed, totally pixelated or blurry. In the desktop mode, of course, everything is wonderfully visible. Regardless of whether it’s on the shop page or not, I generally have background issues, so if more content is included, the background will naturally get more and more ‘zoomed in’, or just pixelated. Unfortunately I do not know any advice to fix the background a little bit. With little content, of course, I have absolutely no problems.

Maybe you have some advice or an idea to fix the background or to look more beautiful in the mobile view.

Hey RaffaelaChiara, thanks for sharing that. Unfortunately since background-position:fixed is disabled in mobile browsers it would be hard to workaround that https://stackoverflow.com/questions/23236158/how-to-replicate-background-attachment-fixed-on-ios

One possible solution is to make use of the option “Background Image Mobile Hidden” when editing your rows which have this to simply remove it on mobile devices and use a solid BG color instead. You can also test out using other speeds for the background parallax such as “slow”, “fast” etc. those will continue to work on all devices

As far as I can see the site provider ’’ Wix ’’ is used. But what if I set a body / page background for one side, then the same problem is also in the mobile view? What if you do not put a background in a row section, but a background for the whole page? Can not that be fixed? Total pixelated and the same course in the mobile view. Unfortunately, I have not seen any function in the salient theme settings to set a page background, just header backgrounds. I’ve seen so many pages that they use page backgrounds that look quite normal in the mobile view, do you know how that’s possible? Maybe you can add that for the next update, because that’s a really important tool to be able to work proffesionally too.

After wriring a long detailed issue of my problem I get a responce sayiing ‘Must be a caching issue’ from Tahir.

This isnt a CACHING issue, as we have deleted the cache.

There is no advice or help whatsoever and its quite obvious this issues wasn’t checked properly.

If you have support which we have to pay for, please actaully support us, not give a 3 word answer saying it ‘must’ be this, when it isnt.

Can someone else please check this ticket please from your support that we have just paid for, currently we are not getting proper detailed answers or support.

Hey Nicko_217, by default there are no tags for the portfolio post type. You would need to edit the nectar/helpers/portfolio.php file in regards and then query for the tags within the portfolio post type as needed.

1. In the Salient options panel > Header navigation > animation effects, select “color change” for the option “Header Link Hover/Active Effect”

2. In the plugin settings (Loco Translate > Themes > Salient > Advanced) Did you set the “nectar_salient_strings.pot” as you template file to generate the .po from?

it only appears on certain screen sizes if you cant see it resize the window and it seems to appear. (happens to appear on my clients macbook screen size)
