Hi, please need help with this did reinstall the theme from 0 but still having some issues with Iphone safari on my site but not on demo site.
Some of the proyect works fine and the other don’t move at all.

Hi, so did some research about the theme and have some problems with IPhone Safari. Don’t know what it is. But the theme have some issues with de slide of photos, it does slide or move on some project but on others it don’t slide the images. Did try it with 5 different Iphones.

A blank page and 503 error, both are related to your server configuration. Probably this is because of the max_execution_time value of the server PHP settings. You can make this modifications in your htaccess file: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8744107/increase-max-execution-time-in-php#answer-8744184
Or please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the settings in link above.

2. You can add Google ads into your blog posts. There are a couple of good 3rd party plugins for that.
3. You mean SEO? Kuist hasn’t got a setting for that but it’s already been created SEO friendly. Plus, you can use Yoast SEO plugin.

Here are the questions I have and hopefully you can help resolve them.
1) The Hamburger menu on mobile does not seem to be showing the icon and it looks like a square instead.
2) Similar Issue, when you hover over the individual image the search Icon does not show it displays the same square as the hamburger menu. I think the issue is probably a css file that is not reading.
3) I am seeing some issues when upload images to the media folder, it seems to upload but then the image itself does not appear. Instead a grey box shows up and is unable to recognize the image. I tried to change the file format as a first step from .png to .jpg to see if it works but the results were the same. All of the images work on my local machine and my phone just not on the site.
4) I am trying to add a home page with a hero image slider that takes up the full width. It seems that if I install a image slider plugin it conflicts with the CSS of the current theme and it shows up boxed and very small.
These are all of the issues that I am currently facing, besides that everything works and this is a great theme! Thanks again and hopefully you can assist in gettin these issues taken care of.

About matter 3, you’re talking about the media gallery of WordPress, right? If so, this can’t be related to the theme. Maybe you have something wrong on your server? Do you see any error messages while uploading images?

I think the icons do not appear because of the Elementor plugin. The plugin calls for an older version of Font Awesome, which is the source of that icons. Could you please deactivate the Elementor plugin and check your site again?
For the slider, please add it and let us see how it looks like. So we can provide a CSS code or guide you about what to do.

I have added a new page and added a IG widget below it, the entire page is boxed & looks very odd.

So what you see on that page is natural. But maybe you’d like to add a “featured image” instead of adding all the images into the page.
We’re not able to suggest a slider plugin at the moment. As I said, please add a slider and let us see how it looks like. So we can provide a CSS code or guide you about what to do. Right now we see no slider.

Please go to “Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS” and add the following CSS:
article.post-899 .kuist-content-size { max-width: 100%; }
This will make your slider full width.
We couldn’t reproduce any issues on mobile. What do you mean exactly by “do not slide well”? Could you please provide more information? So we can investigate it further.
We’ll be considering to add video support to our theme in next updates.

That is the space I am referring to, however, the css you provided didn’t seem to have any affect on the category display.

And I added the CSS code I provided. As you may see, when you click the categories button, you see no marker and category items are closed to the left.

hi, I loved Kuist theme good job I have 2 questions if I activate this theme on website with a lot of projects on portfolio should I do any extra adjustment or the theme will applied to the old projects in the portfolio automatically?
I noticed when I try to test the demo on mobile phone some projects won’t swap left and right to browse the photos in the same gallery it just not responded is that bug or what I tried from safari and chrome and that bug was random some times it work sometimes it not on the same project? I rely loved this theme and it is in my account cart waiting for your response

1. Kuist comes with its own portfolio plugin. So you’ll need to add your projects via this plugin. Theme will not import your old projects automatically.
2. Well, we just tested it for you, one by one. And we couldn’t reproduce the issue. I can say that everything seems fine. If the total width of the images of a portfolio row is less than the window (screen/browser) width, swapping is disabled naturally. Maybe that’s the reason. But if you detect a problem with a specific portfolio/image, please let us know! So we can work on it, reveal and fix the issue.

Ah, OK. Sorry, I forgot to mention something. After updating your theme, you may need to re-order the broken series to fix them. I mean, just replace the first 2 images for example, then replace them back. The ordering will be fixed when you do this.

Kuist doesn’t include any page builder plugins. If you wish, you can buy one like WP Bakery’s seperately.
I wondered, what kind of a page are you trying to create? I mean, if it’s something that you see on our demo site, you don’t need any page builders. Please let us know if you need help with catching the view on the demo site.

For now, Kuist is only for images. It can not be used with videos. But soon, we’re planning to consider adding this feature.
