Hi there,
the question has been asked before but I cannot work it out, even after updating to v2.0:
My mobile menu still does not close when I click on a navigation link in it. Only when I close it by clicking the „X“. I use the one page navigation and when I close the menu it is on the correct section so that’s fine but it would be more comfortable when it closes automatically.
Do I miss something or isn’t it implemented by now?

this was reported before and it will be fixed via update. Unfortunately this is not an easy fix and is more complicated than sharing the solution via comments.

I have another problem concerning the navigation: In the footer widget I linked to my site notice and privacy policy pages. When I am on one of these pages I am not able to go back to Home or the other sections of the „regular“ one page site using the navigation. Only by clicking on the logo I can navigate to Home. Any idea on that?

If you use one page navigation those links only link to section for that ONE page, that’s way is called one page. If you are using the links from other pages they try to find those sections in other pages and they don’t exist there.

I have 2 issues. While importing the demo1 content i get Error-Messages:
Import of flamingo_inbound_channel Contact Layout 2 failed Import of flamingo_inbound_channel Contact Layout 3 failed Import of flamingo_inbound_channel Footer Widget Newsletter failed
Whatever that means – I do not have a Footer on any Site, no matter what I try, which means, I have no Instagram feed etc. The second issue is, that I can not display the map (google maps) in the contact form – no matter what I try.

ignore any “flamingo_inbound_channel” on import – if you see that the import is successful.
To set up the theme make sure all the required plugins are installed, then to set up the footer:
1) Theme Options > Footer > Choose Footer Layout (select footer – Classic Widgets Footer);
2) Appearances > Widgets > Footer Widgets > Set your widgets (this should be already set up on import if you have not done any previous changes here).
3) Instagram Feed – setup your account here to connect the widget to your profile.
All this is explained in the help file with pictures.
If you still having problems email me your admin credentials and I will import the required demo for you.

• Like described in the documentation, I tried to upload the the vers.1 xml file.
• While I try to hit the “Upload file and import”-Button, Chrome starts to Download “admin.php”. When I open that file, a site appears, which says, that “The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.”.
• When I hit the Upload Button over and over again, finally I may import the xml Data. After the Upload is finished, it says that different Media-files and things like Contactform7-Files have failed to upload. This happes with every Demo content – also from from the vers.2 folder.

I found the Solution for my first Problem. My Hoster had a Firewall activated, which did not let me import your demo Media. Now that works.
The next Problem: When the import of all Demo Content is done I receive the following:
Import of flamingo_inbound_channel Contact Form 7 failded Import of flamingo_inbound_channel Contact Layout 2 failed Import of flamingo_inbound_channel Contact Layout 3 failed Import of flamingo_inbound_channel CTA Newsletter failed Import of flamingo_inbound_channel Footer Widget Newsletter failed

I am glad that you’ve solved your problem.
Ignore the flaming_inbound_channel error, if you see that the import is successful.
This warning is referring to an additional plugin Flamingo for Contact Form 7 plugin that allows to save and read emails form the WP dashboard – this plugin was only used in development for testing and is not recommended to be used for real websites.

Well, thanks for that information, but I still get no Footer or Newsletter Teaser on my Site, because, as displayed above, the Footer- and Newsletter Widget failed to import. I tried to import these several times with no success. Then, I reinstalled wordpress on my Database – that also did not help.

You need to connect them, open the page that you want to use and set the newsletter and footer widget email forms. You need the Contact Form 7 plugin installed.

Hi there,
unfortunately the plugin author had delete his plugin, and there is not much there can be done.
This plugin will be replaced in the next update, that does similar function.
This plugin is only required for the crypto widget (element), if you don’t use that element you don’t need that plugin and you can ignore any warnings.

Hello,
like some others I have problems with the displaying of the logo especially on mobile devices. My client has a logo with a large width and text that becomes unreadable if the logo is too small.
Could you tell me what the intended maximum sizes for desktop and mobile are, so I can adjust the logo? Unfortunately, I haven’t found it in the css on my own.

HI there, first thank you for the purchase.
The navbar adapts to the logo size, of course, the logo should not be an extreme size and its size should match the theme general style.
There is no fixed size for a logo, use the theme demos and to get a general idea what works well with the theme.

no the 500 error is due to a plugin conflict. I see you haven’t updated your theme in over a year. Plugins have all updated since and now there is a conflict with the latest update. When I deactivate your plugin from Definity the site does not display a 500 error. when I activate it then it knocks the site over. Please advise.
What is the exact plugin name in question.
The Definity Elements plug in is a conflict, when I click on it, it says
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@themes.89elements.com to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hi,
upon extensive testing there is no problem with the theme and its plugins, the latest version (WordPress 5.1.1) runs on the demo sites, also tested locally in order to recreate your problem – but everything works fine.
The only problem that I’ve encountered is if the host/server runs the latest PHP version (7.2+) – that is probably your problem. In those version there are deprecated elements and many WordPress plugins are trowing errors, so make sure your host is running PHP 7.1 or less.

I have recently moved my website from staging to production and have noticed that the text editor has changed.
It now says POWERED BY TINY at the bottom and doesn’t show me the option to edit the code anymore.
This is a problem due to most of my styling being done using HTML within these boxes.
Please, can you shed some light on a solution for this?

that is from some plugin that you are using (don’t know what plugin it is) and has nothing to do with the theme, remove the plugin or contact the plugin developer.

When editing a page row in WPBakery we can not see the “Design Options” tab in Row Settings. Is that because the version of WPBakery included in the theme does not include those options or is it a problem in our installation?

When I created a section with the “recent posts”-element the blog post’s excerpt and the button won’t show up. The problem does not occur on the blog page itself but only when I use the “recent post”-element on a different site.
Morevoer, where can I find and edit the blog excerpt? Normally it should automatically pull the first few sentences like it does on the blog page, right?

Hi there, first thank you for the purchase.
To have the newsletter element you need WPBakery Page Builder, Contact Form 7 and Definity Elements plugins installed.
After that follow these steps:
1) Add new CTA element with (WPBakery Page Builder);
2) Set CTA type to: Newsletter;
3) Create a form for your newsletter (only email input) and name it CTA Newsletter – then select it in Select Form (CTA element settings);
4) Pick the background, you want, if you have installed the demo data you will have that background that is shown in the demo.
5) Adjust the overlay Background color in “Style” to your liking.
You can also import the demo data and see how the form is made.

you probably have problems with the Slider Revolution layers ordering – make sure the CTA button layer is at the top position above everything (or have high z-index: 9999).

Hi, I have problem with Maps. I have correct API key, but maps still does’n show on contact page or contact form on homepage. Take a look: Homepage (bottom): https://redcomm.pl Contact page: https://redcomm.pl/kontakt/ API key is correct, my google account is properly configured (ready for payment etc), Even receive Google invoices for API (for amount of “zero”). Any ideas how to fix it?

Hi! I’m just started using the theme for my newest site. I can’t find a way to remove the logo.png that’s displayed in the nav bar. What’s the best way to get rid of it? I’d prefer to have no image there.

the theme expect to have logo in the navigation, and it was designed with that in mind. To remove it simplest way is to upload fully transparent .png file or edit the code in the header.php (not recommended).
