Hello, I have a fresh install with the core plugin – I cannot get the date to format any different. Please help!

All of the custom date fields format to YY/MM/DD which is not appropriate for my country and confusing and there seems to be no way to format. Why not use the Wordpress General Setting Date Format by default?

I searched through the theme code and did not find a place to update either. Is this all in the Levelo Core Plugin?

On the default homepage, writing the date YEAR/MONTH/DAY is about the ugliest way this could be setup by default. Is there any way to change this?
