I was unable to find the jack demo content installer under appearance. So I used the wordpress importer.
However, it did not import any images?
I would like to have the demo images imported so I can work with my client to replace them with their own, but i need to be able to walk them through the look and feel of the default theme before I start customizations.

following the Envato rules all the themes sold on Themeforest are sold without images, they are for preview only.
And all the authors replace images with image holders for easiest work with them. Well only one thing you need to do is to replace them with your own images.

Am I suppose to edit raw code from WP’s editor just to change out simple images/texts/links for the home page? I have the WPBakery Page Builder and also installed the Visual Composer (now known as Mega Addons) but all I see when editing the homepage or any really is a wall of code. I figured there would be simple input fields for each area to edit no? Thanks

hi i cannot for the life of me find how to change the homepage hero background image.. it wont let me select it in wordpress WP bakery or inside the edit page area in that specific page. i scrolled all the way down to update the image just to update and nothing happens.
You can’t find where to do that or it doesn’t allow you to change it?

It doesn’t allow me to change it. I’ve successfully changed all of the inner page header images fine. The home page just gets stuck on that default place setter image whenever i try to update it.
But you change it from VIsual Composer element, or as on all inner pages from additional settings under the editor?

the visual composer as in the WP Bakery doesn’t allow me to. I changed it from the inner page from the additional settings under the editor. here’s a link to it http://prntscr.com/n80log
as you can see, it shows me uploading an image but after i hit update, it doesn’t show up on the homepage screen. i did the same for the other pages and it worked fine.
Because your index page has another Page Template. Well to change page template you need to swtich it from right side when you edit your page. But to change the image in slider you need to edit your slider row, and to change the image from Visual Composer not from additional settings. Hope you understand what I meant.

it wont let me click on it. it just fades away when i put the cursor near it. I don’t get what you’re saying of switching the template to the right side.
nm.. i literally had to point my cursor to an invisible area so that visual composer area stays visible to press on. that’s really inconvenient when it should just work fine like all of the other areas on the homepage in terms of updating images. Thanks
Not sure from your screenshot, but seems that you use frontend editor, try to use backend editor of Visual Composer, it should solve the issue.

One click demo import does not work like it’s intended.
“There are no predefined import files available in this theme. Please upload the import files manually!”
^^ First problem. Then I tried installing the xml file manually thru wordpress’s importer and all I got was the home page with a long list of posts. No pictures, no menu items added to the nav, nothing.
I’ve checked and the wp-content folder is indeed writeable.
Any ideas of what’s going on?

I guess you simply forgot to set which page will be displayed as Home page. You can do that from Settings=> Reading.

Any possibility for a paying customer to get access to an early version WITH navigation styles? Having inaccurate documentation with an explanation of “screenshot accidentally got there” simply is unacceptable. Is there any solution on your end? Seems like you’re using kind of the same theme options framework in all your themes, so additional header options shouldn’t be too far off.
Could you clarify please which navigation style you waiting? I mean Logo on center and navigation on right, or logo on right and hamburger navigation on left. Which style you need?

Basically I need any navigation style that shows the navigation menu directly on the header, NOT the hamburger navigation type. Ideally logo on left, navigation menu on right.
I basically just need some header template file modifications to list the menu rather than hide them in the hamburger style.
Such a navigation style will be included only with next theme update, until that time you can use only navigation style that you see in theme preview.

That is unfortunate, especially considering the last update was in Nov.
I have set up a site using this theme however when I add child pages into the menu it makes the parent page in the menu non-clickable so you cant actually open it. When you click the main menu item it opens and expands the submenu.
Can you let me know how to change this?

We encountered an error with WP Bakery plugin editor when a WP update was made from 4.9.9 to 5.1 . After several hours of research we are informed that WP Bakery has cleaned up their code and it is to be updated on the theme builder’s end. Can you suggest anything to us or perhaps provide us with the update of this plugin as the page builder is not functioning at the moment.

I just bought this theme and running into an issues with the logo not being centered when scrolling down. I have emailed the author directly but hopefully someone can answer me.
Never-mind I found out that there was a logo in Customize that I needed to delete because it was making things off center.

first of all you don’t need to buy nothing separately all advertised plugins are already bundled with the theme.

It kind of works now, but only the update that is required (WP Bakery 5.7) is not up to date yet, which makes the use a little less convenient.
With the import noting was showed, while it said it was successful. However, we already started building the site so we don’t need help for this anymore.
Would be great tho if the theme can make the update to 5.7 possible!
