No, .po/.mo file are for hard-coded strings like “Search” text inside the search field. You’ll need one of the plugins to activate the language switcher.

Ok I will submit ticket. But I don’t see options to change fonts, etc for mobile specifically. And these notifications are coming directly from google, perhaps the theme needs to be updated?
