Hi! I’m attempting to update to the newest version on Delas, but I’m getting the following error:

“Fatal error: Templates must contain valid handlebard”

Affected files: -partials/comments/native-comments.hbs: Missing Helper: “comment_count”

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you plan to make updates for Ghost 4.0?

You misspelled “Reading” and have instead put “Readeing” I fixed it in mine, but it would be helpful to others if this was fixed.

This theme is a complete and utter mess, sorry but there’s no other way of putting it.

It looks nice but when you apply it to your own blog; it’s a whole different story and it’s so badly built it’s embarrassing.

I wish I hadn’t paid good money for this; it’s not worth it.

There’s so much work you have to do manually by modifying the theme handlebars files as parts that are not configurable should be entirely optional, not just left in place and therefore redundant.

None of this is documented either, the documentation goes on about how to use Ghost more than what to do with the template which is irrelevant at this stage and there’s plenty of official documentation for this already. Document the template, properly!

If you’re not using the new membership functionality you must modify the navigation partial in order to remove the links when a simple if statement could be used. Here it is – {{#if @labs.members}} {{/if}} – why is this not in the template already? Seriously?

Also the author seems confused between subscribers and the new members functionality – they’re not the same!

Another massive blunder is that there’s also a hard-coded script for Disqus that serves their own Disqus comments section. Really poor, undocumented and difficult to track down.

The list goes on and on and on – it’s really very poor and there’s no way you can just switch this theme on and expect it to work correctly.

Other themes on here work flawlessly with options that you can configure manually if you so wish, this is just an absolute nightmare. It’s extremely difficult to trust this template without sifting through each and every file to ensure there’s nothing in there that shouldn’t be.

The author needs to fix these issues quickly and maybe learn a few things too.
