Hello.

I’m interest in the specific template.

Does support multi language? Also is compatible with “WP Crowdfunding” ?

Thank you.

Hi there

Thank you for your interest in the NativeChurch Theme.

1. Yes for multilingual websites, this theme supports WPML plugin

2. Yes, you can use WP Crowdfunding plugin with this theme as no known problems been reported yet.

Thanks

Thank you very much. Probably in the next days ill buy it !

Welcome :)

Hi, have just updated theme (Native Church 3.2.1), and the core plug-in causes my website to be a white screen to all non-logged in users. I have had to deactivate the Native Church core plug-in to enable my site to be visible. But this means that not all functionality is available to me and I can’t make updates to sections like Events and Sermons.

Is there a simple fix like checking which PHP version we are running with our host (I believe we are on PHP 7.1)? Or making sure that our memory is high enough?

Hi there

I have replied your email with the fix.

Thanks

I just updated the theme and it wiped out a lot…. The calendar events aren’t there. The header is gone, all child theme changes gone, home page got screwed up…. The previous version I have is 2.2 and that wont support newer PHP… Can you please help.

Hi there

Sorry for the inconvenience, I see your support term is now expired so for me to check your website please email me at envato[at]imithemes.com

Thanks

Does this theme support Visual Composer (also known as “WP Bakery”)?

Hi there

Yes, this theme is compatible with WP Bakery page builder however there is no special page builder elements available for this builder. You may use theme’s shortcode to display various parts of the theme using WPBakery builder.

Thanks

Hi there

I suggest you to open a support ticket here: https://support.imithemes.com/help/ticket/new and my team would be happy to assist you on this.

Thanks

Hello I see that the staff shows in three columns. How can I make it show in two columns instead? Is there anything I need to add to the shortcode? like [staff number=”9” rows=”2”] ?? thanks in advance

Hi there

To create a 2 columns staff grid you can this attribute in the shortcode column=”2”. All these options are available when you insert the shortcode using the shortcode generator.

Thanks

Hi there, after last upgrade, activating NativeChurch Core Plugin the site reports a 500 error. Disabling NatiChurch Core Plugin the site works. Have I renew support for solve it?

Hi there

Sorry for the inconvenience, no need to renew your support as of now. We will check your website first to see if the problem came because of the new core plugin itself or because of some server settings. Please email me at envato[at]imithemes.com along with your website details so that I can get it checked.

Thanks

Thank you for reply, I sent everything via email

Great! Will be checking it soon and will reply you over email. Thanks

Hi, yes I did. But I thought the child theme was supposed to protect that from happening? Here is an example of a slug that needs to change: http://craigwilkinson.co.za/sermons/making-men-camp/ Although it is correct on this page – it successfully says “Media and events” instead of sermons: http://craigwilkinson.co.za/media-and-events/

Hi there

Please email me at envato[at]imithemes.com along with your website details so that I can check the problem.

Thanks

Hi there, the same issues as above has happened again. I have all “sermons” slugs set to “Media and events” and they have changed back now. I have a child theme in place that resolved this issues right at the start (around 5 years ago) even made use of the new way of changing slugs you have provided in your settings, and it still will not change. Again, I don’t want to have to renew support for an issue that has already been resolved in the past.

Hi there

I see this is not an issue but a customisation which was done for you. Now with the new version of theme, you can change the slug of post types from Theme Options => Custom Post Types. You can go ahead and change it for sermons as you like.

For more questions and concerns please open a support ticket here: https://support.imithemes.com/help/ticket/new

Thanks

Hi, I had queries regarding changing the slugs of individual sermons and staff members to different words – the query was resolved years using child themes but now I see the slugs have returned to what they were. I cannot access my old support tickets to be reminded of how this issue was resolved, as my support has expired. I do not want to have to renew support for this one query that was already resolved before and I havent changed anything, I am still using the same child theme.

Hi there

Can you let me know if you updated your theme recently?

Thanks

I bought this theme a while ago for a client and it is loading VERY slowly on the front end. Any reason for this? I have turn off all of the plugins, updated themes and plugins to their latest versions, and am running the latest version of PHP on my hosting account. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi there

Website loading speed depends on many factors where hosting plays major role among all. Still to know what is causing the loading times delay it would be great if you can open a support ticket here: https://support.imithemes.com/help/ticket/new so that my team can analyse your website and can provide inputs to optimise the load times. Meanwhile you can apply the measures listed in this kb https://support.imithemes.com/knowledgebase/speed-up-your-website/

Thanks

You said the next update to come out would address the deprecated functions… It didn’t. They are all still there. Please address the deprecated functions. I can’t update the PHP version until you do.

Hi there

Errors related to PHP version 7.2 have been addressed in this update. Make sure you have activated the new NativeChurch Core plugin with theme updating.

For more questions or concerns please open a support ticket here: https://support.imithemes.com/help/ticket/new and my team would be happy to check it for you.

Thanks

Getting the following error on my homepage

Warning: Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=36567 in /homepages/33/d657285257/htdocs/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2007

Hi there

Please make sure your server config is set to as required by theme. You can check andsee how to change these values here: https://support.imithemes.com/knowledgebase/set-minimum-server-settings-for-a-wp-theme-plugin/

Thanks

Thanks, but what you suggested didn’t work.

To Fix the error I did the following:

1. Installed the Plugin called wp-sweep

2. Under on “Tools” in the sidebar click on “Sweep”

3. Scroll down to bottom of page and select “Sweep All”

Glad you got the solution and thanks for sharing it.

Hello, please kindly recommend one or more hosting company(s) that supports all requirements of this script to work perfectly on its shared hosting. Thanks

Hi there

We recommend inmotion hosting if you are on budget https://inmotion-hosting.evyy.net/c/1243667/274456/4222

For a premium hosting which we use for our themes demos you can go for WPEngine https://wpengine.com

Hi there, I noticed your latest theme update included “some PHP 7.2” bug fixes. Does that mean the theme is not yet fully PHP 7.2 compatible?

HI there

We were working on the PHP 7 bugs with few updates in the past and some new/remaining bugs are now fixed in this update. So theme is now fully compatible with PHP 7.2 version.

Thanks

How does this theme now play with Gutenberg?

Hi there

When using page templates you can now see all missing metaboxes which were hidden with Gutenberg addition.

With page builder SiteOrigins page builder works with Gutenberg as well.

Thanks

Will you be making the theme fully Gutenberg compatible?

Sorry, as of now we have no plans to make this theme Gutenberg optimised but yes you can use it with Gutenberg with all the functionality of the theme. Thanks

Hi, does this theme work with “Event Tickets” or have an easy way to sell tickets of different types through WooCommerce? If yes, can you sell different type of tickets for same the same event? Thank you very much.

Hi there

NativeChurch has it’s own custom built event manager which works for ticket selling using PayPal. No Woocommerce payment option for ticket sale. You can create 3 type of tickets for every event.

Thanks

How soon will you guys be coming out with an update to make the theme compatible with php 7.2 (i get tons of depreciation warning) and the admin system wont work.

Hi there

Update is coming in couple of days.

Thanks

Hello, We were recently contacted by our hosting company who discovered our site was registering as not fully secure. We tracked the problem to the ‘latest sermon’ section in the ‘area under the slider’ on the homepage. When it is disabled, our site receives the fully secure padlock (it’s temporarily disabled). With it enabled, the site is not fully secure. It also occurs on the individual sermon page where the player is, such as here: https://highlandmeadowschurch.org/sermons/the-resurrection-changed-everything/ Do you know if anyone else is experiencing trouble with this?

Hi there

Would be great if you can open a support ticket about this here: https://support.imithemes.com/help/ticket/new and my team would be happy to check it. If you do not need direct support then you can open a forum topic to report this problem so that we can address it in for the next update.

Thanks

We were able to talk with our podcasting company and found that the problem came from them and was not an issue in the theme. Thanks!!

The solution was to simply add an s to the direct download link which then made it secure (https instead of http).

That’s great! Glad all is good now :)

The event countdown moves to another event or disappears when an event starts and is in progress. Is there any way to show event is in progress until the end of that event before moving to a countdown for another event? Example Sunday service is in progress, yet the countdown starts counting towards next sunday’s service—Six days 23 hours to Sunday service

I saw this question unanswered in your forum for the past few days.
