Regarding the Instagram issues, please navigate to: your-website.com/wp-admin/options.php page Then find all the instagram fields and delete them: https://www.screencast.com/t/u0mUaW0VSvoThen navigate to PlayerX Options > Social Networks > Connect with Instagram. - Also note that some web servers don’t allow editing the database through options.php, so you might need to access database directly.

Please note that we changed some files in our Core plugin in the latest theme update, so it is very important to delete the old version of Core plugin through FTP before upadating the theme. After successful updating, you should login to wp-admin panel and go to plugins and install and activate Core 1.0.2 Everything should be working well after.

Please note that this theme is comatible with WPBakery 5.7, and there are no big differences between 5.7 and 6.0.2, so don’t worry about it. In order to update WPBakery to the version 6.0.2, it is necessary to modify some template files. So please be patient, we will add compatibility with the WPBakery 6.0 in the next theme update.
We’re currently in a process of updating all our themes. Our team is working hard to get all the themes up to date with the current versions of plugins and extensions. You can expect that PlayerX theme will be updated in the next few days or weeks, and then we will inlude the latest version of WPBakery plugin.

We always recommend to use latest version for which we included compatibility, and in this case, it is WooCommerce 3.5.6 They made some bigger change in 3.6.2 and we are waiting for some fix, so we could make our next theme update fully compatible. I want to ask if someone have had problems with updating to new versions of the site. My support expired but i havent really used the theme before now, site is not live but i get a whole lot of errors when updating to 1.4 – replacing files/folder via FTP.
When buying a theme i expect a fair and easy update prosess, not breaking the whole site so I am forced to buy extended support, I buy that if a have problems beyond a normal theme version update with custom needs etc.

Please, note that you need to perform update on this way: - Update our theme following instructions from here: https://playerx.edge-themes.com/documentation/#!/getting_started_updating_playerx Then, follow message from dashboard to update PlayerX core plugin. After you are able to update other of our plugins, including WPBakery, too. If you update theme on this way and in this order, everything should be working fine.Best, Edge

I did follow the guide before i made this post. I replaced the files in the playerx folder on the server as stated in the guide but then the site and admin is unavailable because of the above error message(s). Because of this i dont get to update the core from the dashboard.
Should i rename the playerx folder on the server to old_playerx and then upload and install the new playerx theme through the wordpress installer?
Hello again. Yes, in this case. Good idea is to change theme name on server. Then to update plugin manually, and then to revert theme name and activate it.

Well, perhaps you can enable WPBakery editor for portfolio items from WPBakery Settings > Role Manger. Once you do that, go to your portfolio item and insert Raw HTML element and try to paste the link to your video. If that doesn’t work, please let us know, so we can think of another workaround.

Theme files are loading much faster than the embedded video, so the problem is not in our template, but this embedded video. We never heard of this streaming platform, so perhaps their connection or servers are poor and don’t deliver shared content as quickly. It’s important to note that this workaround is questionable and Raw HTML element serves, just like the name suggests for simple markup code. You could try with Vimeo or YT videos, just to compare the loading times.

Is it possible to make so members can edit there profiles such as Twitch/Youtube live stream pages and able to edit member profile when going to match by users so users can create there own matches ? What would that require is there any plugins for that ?

Yes, our theme does accept SVG format for logos, however we don’t recommend it, because it’s not always readable by all browsers. Therefore it’s much safer to upload PNG or JPEG image for your logo.

I’m very interested in purchasing your theme for my website! I took a look through the user document and some of the customization options and the theme looks amazing.
I do have one concern before I buy though: it says in the document I could either “start from scratch” or import from the demo and start using that. Since my website already is filled with content and I don’t want it all deleted, I’m curious if I’m able to buy and activate this theme, and have my existing blog posts/page information populate into the site. Obviously some customizations and edits are going to need to be made since it’s an entirely new theme, but I want to make sure I won’t lose my existing content. Looking forward to hearing back!

Well, yes, we offer a one-click demo import tool for all our themes, however doing this will wipe all your current content and install demo one instead. To avoid this, simply don’t import demo. The problems in switching themes usually appear when you have different custom post types (portfolio, projects, etc.) or when you’re using a different page builder. So, basically, if you’re using WPBakery page builder already and have only blog posts (which is common for all WordPress themes) you shouldn’t have too much of a trouble with customizing.

Thank you for responding! I was only really concerned with saving the actual content of my posts – i figured the formatting I would have totally re-do.
My current site doesnt use WPBakery – i am hosting through WordPress.com so I’m just using whatever post builder is default with them. Even then, I dont have any portfolio type pages/project pages, it’s all literally just blog posts with a couple pages of info ( https://dottzgaming.com if you want to see). But long story short, as long as I dont import the demo my content should be fine ill just have to reformat?

Yes, as long as you don’t import demo, you should be fine. Just install our theme and activate it. It’s even better that you’re using Gutenberg or Classic Editor, since both are supported within our theme. Perhaps there will be some page adjustments in terms of layout and content, however, nothing major.

Child theme doesn’t get updated, only the parent. So, if you’re using child theme, all your settings will remain the same. Additionally, it’s always recommended to keep a back-up prior to update, just in case.

Yea, thats why ill repeat my question – how to update the theme without losing my settings if Im NOT USUING child theme. Which files were changed from version 1.2 to the latest so I can swap only those.

It’s impossible to list all updated files, since there’re dozens, maybe hundred actually. While updating our theme, we generate minified versions of some files, so it’s impossible to manually switch couple of files only.
In case you changed template files, we advise backing them up and installing new version of the theme. Then paste edited files in your root directory and that would be all.

Since there is nothing to be payed, answer is negative for 2) and 4), too.
3) You are able to create multilanguage site since all text labels could be translated. When it comes to multicureency, we didn’t test this feature, since it is not part of our theme, you could try with some plugin for this purpose.
