WP Bakery is the Required plugin for the Theme, You can not use Theme Pre-Built Demos of the Theme without it, If you want to start from scratch then you can use the Theme without it. Otherwise, you must have to Install and Activate it.

It’s because your server environment can not access to our server https://portotheme.com Please try to ping our server and let us know if it works.
Please enable curl extension form server this will fix your issue. This extension is required for the registration process.
OR
The issue mostly occurs when the server has any kind of restriction and do not allow to communicate your server with our internal server for activation, so please ask your hosting provider to remove all sorts/kinds of restrictions from your account and deactivate the firewalls for some time until you activate the theme.

I spent a couple of hours setting this theme up on my site to replace WooCommerce’s default theme, I use Stripe and PayPal as payment options on my shop and I am having a hard time getting Stripe to allow Apple Pay, the button doesn’t show up at all, if I deactivate Porto and reactivate my Storefront theme from WooCommerce everything works fine and I can use ApplePay with no problems. I purchased Porto for more flexibility not less, if this can’t be resolved I think I will need to request a refund. This is core functionality in modern online stores. Stripe is correctly configured and works without issues using Storefront theme just not Porto. Is there a fix? I love the theme you guys made but without Apple Pay it won’t work for my use.

Sorry to say that but we have not tested Apple Pay plugin with the Theme, nor it is included in the third party plugins compatible with the list confirmed from our end on the item page, So this is the third party plugin issue, not the Theme issue, and we do not provide our dedicated support for third-party plugins issue as because this requires Customization.
You have two options, First, you have to contact the plugin author and ask plugin author to Customize the plugin core files for you for making it compatible with the Theme for you.
Second, If you want us to Customize the Theme core files for you for making it compatible with the Theme, then you have to contact our Customization team for paid Customization services.
