Where have my social icons gone? It’s now just square boxes. I also have square boxes beside my menu items that expand. I’m completely frustrated with updating this theme and losing key elements of the website. Are there some kind of update notes that go with the updates to alert to things like this? I shouldn’t have to raise support with every update! Pagination is also still not working.

I left a comment which has yet to be answered. Is there an issue with the Voux theme with social shares in the Voux theme when moving from HTTP to HTTPS – if there is could you advise of the fix as lots of people on the comments are suffering from the same problem
This is not a theme issue. Http and https urls are different urls and Social Networks report different counts for them.
But your theme utilises a social sharing feature and is affecting lots of users – as the majority will have http and https social counts.
You must have a workaround? For example this is what some social sharing plugins are suggesting https://www.addthis.com/academy/http-https-share-counts-affected/
This is basically just the same thing, they suggest you use only one url 
Yes but they offer a solution so that it combines both HTTP and HTTPS – rather than losing all social shares on HTTP – this should be possible in your theme?
It does not work like you think, you are free to try that
I am unable to view the share counts on any of my article no matter how many times I share them from different devices. I share an article and it remains at 0. I was hoping you could help me with this.
Social sharing is not instant, and the theme does not count it. It only shows the count reported by the social network.
Hello! The demo content of the theme does not load, it hangs. I checked the hosting settings, as you specify, but nothing changes. In the theme folder of the file demo-content.xml not found to download it directly. How to install demo content?

We do not have the ModSecurity module installed on the virtual hosting servers, what else can affect the loading of demo content?
PHP Timeout variable I would suggest trying the import with “Media” option unchecked.
We have just upgraded the theme to 6.4.3 and once again the social shares have been reset and are now showing as 0. I have logged this issue multiple times in the past, and have tried deleting the cache and transients.
Can you advise on a fix. You have mentioned in previous recent comments – it’s something to do with Facebook – can you explain the solution if this is the case and why has it only happened since upgrading the theme?
Also on the homepage there is a comments box showing – how can I remove this. I constantly have taken support out with you over the past few years, and you mentioned that this is a new feature that can be removed in the page settings.
Can you advise where this setting is as I cannot see this option – there is only the ‘transparent header’ setting under page settings.
Please don’t reply with open a support ticket, as I don’t feel I constantly need to pay $40 for support every time I upgrade your theme.
Hi there, you need to understand that this is usually not the theme, but social networks changing their requirements.
For example, they are not reporting shares for non-https sites anymore. If you have changed your url from http to https, old shares will be lost as well.
That being said, I would suggest passing your own FB Access Token using “thb_fb_access_token” filter.
You can disable comments for any page from Pages > Quick Edit for any page.

We can’t integrate something like this to the theme, it has to be custom coded.
If this is the case I would suggest you taking the social sharing out of the site? If I pay for support are you able to provide the custom code to fix this? If not how do I remove the social sharing feature from the website and I will use a wordpress plugin that can offer social sharing taking into account sources from http and https
You can just de-select all the social sharing options for the articles, and the icons will not be visible.
Any plan on adding name to the newsletter popup and form?
Unfortunately, not at the moment, but it can be added with some cusomization.
Here we go again. I just updated this theme and as ALWAYS it’s crashed my site’s homepage. I refuse to pay $40 for support because this shouldn’t always happen when I do updates for this theme. Can you please tell me how I can get my homepage back?

It should work with the latest version of the theme and the theme required plugin. If that does not work, please open a support ticket.

The featured images, when viewed on post pages, are not sharp.
I have tried different file sizes with the same result. When I right-click and view the image, it is sharp and looks correct. On the post page it has soft edges.
I have also switched to different themes, and the images show correctly, but not on the Voux theme. I have searched through documentation, this comments forum, and the Voux theme settings but cannot find a solution.
How do I correct this?

I updated the Voux theme and it has crashed my homepage with a 502 error. It’s working fine on all other pages (and I can access the backend), but the homepage will not load. I’ve turned off all plugins and even with only Voux required plugins loaded, it’s still crashed. I’ve checked with my server and Cloudflare and there’s nothing wrong on that side. Is there any other version I can load that might work?

Is anyone else having issues with their social media icons? Mine disappeared after the last update.
You can set them inside your Theme Options. You can now order them and have additional icons
I can order them but the icons only show up as boxes now and not the respective social media icons. I went to Theme Options > Header Settings > Header Social Style > Style 2 – Shows icons by default. It still doesn’t show any of the icons. There are just some square boxes. You can see it at Luxeher.com…square boxes all over the place.

Hi, URGENT! Social media sharing in single posts (frontend) has disappeared. It seems you changed the style of this in the theme update, we just updated the theme and ticked all the correct new social media boxes in theme options area, but still no social icons! Pleas ehelp, our sites are live and we’ve updated both and are stuck. Also note we have updated the theme plugins (we got the plugins from the “inc” folder which is inside the Voux zip folder). Please advice urgently. Thanks!

Hi, We managed to solve PART of the issue, we can now ee social icons, BUT the “0” shares is showing for all the share icons, this was normally hidden until someone shares the article then it shows a share count. How can we hide the “0” shares like before, we enabled the setting for this in Theme Option to hide it, but it’s not working.

I am not at all pleased with your response. I don’t have support and do not need support unless it is an “issue” with the theme. The counting of the social shares is a feature that exist in the theme and is not working as it should, I see other people here complaining about the same. You have a setting that says ENABLE or DISABLE share counts, when we apply the ‘DISABLE’ it doesn’t work. You simply need to fix this and provide update, not ak me to buy support! We are a commercial site and really need to fix this as it’s very urgent! We don’t have old theme to revert to sadly. Pls respond asap as we’re stuck and really need to this feature to work, we’re not happy with this

I repeat, your social count is not working peroperly, when we click to disable the social count, it does nto work. The simple response we need from you is when this will be fixed. We are commercial sites, all counts on our sites that are over many thousands are showing as zero. This is bad for business. Simply let us know if you’re aware of this and when it will be fixed. That’s all

Hi, My support is expired but this is a huge bug so I’m sure you can help. I bought the theme two years ago and am working on a redesign now. I updated wordpress as well as the voux theme. However when I go to the plugin area, they are asking me to update “The Voux – Required Plugin”. When I click update, it all works correctly and says it is updated. But when I go back to the plugin page it still asks me to update it, it’s an infinite loop and the consequence is that nothing is working on the website anymore. Thanks

It’s now working. But I have the same problem that a lot of people complained about here, pagination does not work, 2nd page loads and display the same posts.
Loading is also now extremely slow on all the website and backend, never had this problem before installed the theme update.
I don’t think theme updates can slow or speed up your website. Nothing has been changed.
