Why is there no option to change : this text: Info! Your listing is pending! Please proceed to make it publish and this Success! Submission is successful? The grammar is confusing and there should be a way to change this like the other things we can modify using loco translate. Do you guys have any articles on how to do this. This should be something we do not have to contact support to have changed. I already went through 2 cycles of support and don’t feel like I need to pay another $50 just to get this changed. Please advise.

We have placed the dummy text in the theme strings and provided the complete language file which you can use to change the theme words in to your words, You can use the loco translate plugin for it.

I know how to use loco translate. I am asking you guys for help because what I need to change is not showing where you guys are telling me to look. This is a pop-up message that shows up after someone submits a new listing form and it shows after a success popup this pop up that says

“Your Listing Is Pending! Please Proceed To Make It Publish”

This is not showing up in Loco Translate for plugin nor theme when I search for it. and it is no where to be found in your Theme options with dummy text. How can we change this?

I do have couple of questions before purchase: kindly reply on them as soon as possible to accelerate the purchase action

If you need multiple physical locations in one city, then you will have to make a listing for each or you may request an advance modification to customize according to your need.

You have both options A. Location with Google Places API. Restrict locations for specific country. B. Predefined Location (Admin must manually add or bulk import locations)

2 – Is it possible for each store to add products to his store?

The business listing owner (each store) is able to add any item (ex. Food items for a restaurant menu) or service (ex. Automotive services) with a regular price (with sale price) and link with custom url using the Menu Management System (MMS).

But currently there isn’t an option for business listing owner to sell directly and checkout without advanced modification or integration with WC.

There is a work around that you can consider.

As an admin you can use any WordPress e-commerce extension (incl. WC, EDD, etc) and setup a shop and then add all the products on behalf of your users then…

OPTION 1: Those products can be linked with the items in the menu management system (created by business owner).

OPTION 2: Most ecommerce plugin allow SHORTCODES, so you can manually insert the products on any page, including individual listings details page (within the description box) or use widgets to show in the sidebar (If you insert in to the widget, it will be globally visible on archive or listing page but not different on individual listings).

You must also know that we have our own builtin checkout system for business owners to purchase PRICING PLANS, to promote listings using ADS CAMPAIGN and PAID CLAIM.

If you mean listing details page then each listing details page will have single form but you might be able to insert a short-code of another form plugin into the description. But this will only be possible to do as a site admin.

I want to make sure I understand your questions correctly. Do you want to copy all the content from WEBSITE-1 to WEBSITE-2?

If that’s what you want to do then you can try using a migration plugin like Duplicator or something. I am sorry if I didn’t get your question right.

Synchronizing the events with google calendar events will need advance modification.

Hi, i have a little pre-sale question. Can monthly payments be with commitment? Let me explain, a user takes a one-year contract with monthly payment, is there any way to force the user to pay monthly for a year and only after this year can he cancel the contract?

You have option to offer monthly or annual package and also make it recurring but as the final payments go through a payment gateway like stripe or paypal. The user might be able to cancel it from their end or simply cancel the credit card, which is beyond the control of any theme or plugin.

Hi, before I buy, I have a question: I want to use the theme for a very simple requirement. I have a list of people with their details (Firstname, LastName, photo, location, dateofBirth, ...etc). I want visitors to be able to search for people and display the results by any of the above details/fields.

Can this theme help me achieving this?

When you create an individual listing for a person how would you be creating that? For example will you have the Title as First and Last Name?

If you can give a real example then I can better respond.

Just a little disillusioned by a reply on one of my support tickets, so I thought I’d mention it here.

My version of Listing Pro is getting stronger every day and I’ll be taking off the ‘maintenance mode’ soon when I’ve done a few final brush-ups, which could never have been achieved without the aid of the support team.

However it has been intimated in a couple of replies that there are certain things that Listing Pro CANNOT do, and so I needed to find a way to do it – which I did – through third party plugins.

I use a couple of other premium themes besides Listing Pro, and these theme authors freely admit their failings in certain aspects, and either include plugins that should be downloaded, or mention ideal plugins in their documentation.

Why do Listing Pro not give third party plugins a mention in their documentation – like other theme authors – if that third party plugin adds customisation features that Listing Pro cannot add directly?

There will always be something for someone that not just listingpro but any other product on the market will not be able to do. But like you know we are the #1 end-to-end directory solution and always listening to our users to improve.

Yes most of the directory options out there are Directory Themes and they all depends on a lot of plugins for core features and not an end-to-end directory solution like ListingPro. Our goal and value proposition from day 1 was very clear, that to build our solution from scratch and include all the core directory features with in the theme so users don’t need to depend on any 3rd party plugins. We also have detailed article on this.

What it ACTUALLY says, is:

’’Other then the above-mentioned plugins we don’t officially support any other 3rd-party plugin.’‘

However my query was solved by something entirely different – one of those plugins that you DON’T recommend – which has the opportunity to take Listing Pro to a new level.

I can appreciate that Listing Pro requires no extra plugins for functionality, like ALL the other directory themes do, where you end up paying a small fortune to run the theme as is indicated on their demos – which is why I chose Listing Pro in the first place.

Cosmetically though there is a slight room for improvement – being able to list posts, categories and locations in a different order from ASC and DESC was my own problem, which could not be solved by normal means, or those included in the Visual Composer plugin.

This was solved by a third party plugin that you DON’T recommend, and rather than just recommending the likes of Loco Translate or WP All Import, I feel that a new Knowledge Base entry should be made to indicate those third party plugins that have provenly filled these cosmetic improvements.

It’s not a case of Listing Pro SUPPORTING these third party plugins, just that the plugins WORK with Listing Pro – any support for these plugins could no doubt be obtained from the individual plugin author – but it would be nice to see some sort of recommendation or mention in the knowledge base as to how certain cosmetic improvements could be achieved.
