I have recently updated the theme to the latest version. I see the Row Stretch and full height row in wpbakery are not working which worked previously. I have added a my link below. Sorry but this option will no longer work in wpbakery. If you need the stretch row option you should use the tagDiv Composer page builder.

The sound sounds good, I’ll buy it now for my new project. Before that I bought 2 licenses with the Newspaper and found it working very well. I want to explore with Newsmag. Thank you for the reply, I will let you know if I want to change the topic.

Yes, you can reset the activation for any website by using the reset button in the system status screen of the theme panel.

Hi. Is there a reason why the latest download of the theme has visual composer 5.6 bundled in the plugins when the last version had 6.0.2?

That would be quite unusual, the latest theme version is 4.9 and it contains WPBakery 6.0.2. I checked it and it is correct https://www.screencast.com/t/OliQyWAoCkN Are you sure you are checking in the right theme package? Please download the full theme package again, extract it, locate WPBakery in the plugins folder and check the version.

Blocks don’t have numbered pagination, the available pagination methods are mentioned in the guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/ Numbered pagination is available for the latest articles section, category pages, tag pages etc but not for blocks. Sorry for any inconvenience.

HI… am looking a the them and before I buy I saw this comment .
Both themes share the same core so their functionality and performances are similar. The main differences are in designs/appearances and the content area width which slightly differs from one theme to another, newspaper’s grid width is 1068px while newsmag’s width is 1021px. So is the theme locked at that width ? Or can I change it to my own, I feel 1021 is a bit tooo narrow .. Reards johnnyHello,

Newsmag has a fixed with and Newspaper has a dynamic width. If the theme width is a feature you are interested in, then we recommend the Newspaper theme as it provides options in this regard.

Hi there,
I purchased this theme, Newspaper 6.7 about 3 + years ago. I have just had a crash and cannot restore a working copy of my website. I am therefore forced to rebuild the site.
I have just installed the theme and have received an error as shown below when trying to import the demo content.
“When installing a demo this message pops up:

The logo does not have a h1 on posts. It only shows the h1 on pages that do not have the page builder + page title template(https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-page-templates/). It only shows a h1 where there is none. If you get a h1 on the logo on posts, there is a problem that must be investigated. If you use the latest version of wpbakery, please revert to the previous one as we have not yet got a chance to test the new version. After updating, my AMP url structure changes. Before the update, I have /amp but now I get /?amp. How can I use the /amp instead of /?amp?

Sorry but the implementation you mention was not changed by us. it is the official amp plugin for Wp that changed the url. Hpowever this does not affect your website as amp itself does not use either/amp nor /?amp. It has a different url under which your posts will be seen. The /amp or /?amp are just for testing to see the amp template. They are not the actual amp URL.

Ok found it. So for every website i need a fresh copy. got it. I buy 2 more copys as soon as everything is ready.
It looks like the latest update to the theme / tagdiv builder has broken the ability to edit the page with the original WPBakery page builder and now those modal windows popup blank when trying to edit the page. They open fine when the tagdiv builder is disabled but of course that breaks the entire front end of the site.
Please advise if there’s a solution to this.

There seems to have been a lot of changes to the way the theme displays things since Gutenberg. Excerpts now show the image caption (not the start of the story) . And the image caption no longer aligns correctly. These are just a couple of the problems. Are there plans to address this?

Excerpts on modules should work same as before. By default the excerpt text will be picked from the post content, for example https://www.screencast.com/t/PPmj2L9hM Only if the excerpt is set manually it would be different, depends on what text is used.The image captions should be aligned to the right, same as always. For example https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/discover-the-10-best-hairstyles-according-to-your-face-shape/

Our theme has a registration form users can access to create an account on your site and if you allow the default user role to post content on your site, then, yes a user can post articles.
