Thank you for updating the theme and for reaching us. In Loco Translate itself when you choose the location it would notify whether it will be overridden or not. Choose the option that does not display any error.

We do not have plans for music as of now as we are currently concentrating on improving our video features.

Hi, Affiliate means Amazon, Apple music etc. We can use this to show music videos right? Themes like VidoRev – Video WordPress Theme, it is good to add features such as video advertising, IMDB and other movie database integration. Also top 10 or artist widget like one etc.

1. The theme itself does not live stream. You’ll have to rely on third-party plugins or providers for live streaming. The theme simply provides space to list them.

2. Yes, you can use ultimate video player with the theme.

3. Yes, it is possible to combine blocks from vodi sports and main theme.

4. The theme is compatible with Ultimate membership pro but I am not sure about other features/plugins that you’ve listed.

TMDB integration is now in testing phase. We are testing out the feature with our select customers now and should be available for release soon.

There is not enough documentation on how to integrate VAST ads. Also please note players are independent of the theme. You can use any player that is integrated with VAST and WordPress.

I am also sincerely sorry about not replying to your Arabic comment, I used Google Translate to translate your comment and it translated expletives in your sentence. Hence it was removed.

To answer your questions :

1. When you import our dummy data you’ll have a website similar to this : https://demo.madrasthemes.com/vodi/ which has placeholder images instead of actual images. We do not have the right to distribute the images, we only have the right to use them commercially. Hence our dummy content will contain only placeholder images instead of actual images. Actual images take lot of time to import and usually breaks the importer causing error 500 and other issues. Also your website could be slapped with a DMCA notice in future if they find out about using copyrighted images. It is safer, better and faster to use placeholder images instead of actual images.

2. The dummy-data is provided separately in the complete theme package and not inside vodi.zip. It is not required as you can simply install all the widgets, dummy data etc from Appearance > One Click Demo Import.

Can you please email our support with your WP admin details, I will check if you’ve missed any steps in the installation and will get back to you.

Thank you for your interest in our theme. Yes, the upload feature can be restricted and be made that only admins upload videos.

The TV Show episodes are shortcodes, if you are using a software for streaming and it provides a WordPress shortcode then you can add it. The theme does not have any specific code for streaming.

The error with the slider mostly happens because the IDs from the dummy content may not match the IDs generated in your website. This can be resolved by simply deleting the slider and adding it again.

I think for the 6/ it depends on the player maybe.. why don’t you use https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-responsive-video-embedder/ in your demo, it would be better to see a responsive player… can you insure me tha ARVE player plugin will work smoothly? do you have a video on youtube showing a bit the admin of the template ?

I’m sorry about all these questions but my website have around 4500 videos and it’s a huge work to migrate.. it’s my 3rd attempt to change the template, the initial on which I build my website in hurry is very badly done by the dev… so I’m really attracted by yours, the look and feel is awesome but I wonder about the practical aspects. For exemple, is it auto-fetching the videos thumbnail ? mine didn’t work properly so I had to use an extra plugin and it doubled the amount of images when I change the main image by a custom it keep fetching the video original, this saturated my server.. a nightmare with the media library…

However you can use plugins like Ultimate Membership Pro or Restrict Content Pro to achieve features like subscription and membership management.

Also wondering if there were any plans to add an additional “music” category to videos and movies, with an uploader that simply pulls mp3 and related audio without a visual component. This would be a nice feature for future releases, as would some tweaking to the playlist feature (autoplay would be preferable) as would a more user friendly interface for the playlists in general (as well as easier access/visibility for users to view each other’s playlists). Overall I am very impressed either way and will definitely be using this plugin for several websites it is looking like.

1. We do have sliders similar to the one you’ve shared. You can checkout our demos, there are many examples.

2. The theme has no such option to restrict user access. You’ll have to rely on third-party plugins like ultimate membership pro or restrict content pro.

3. The photo of the profile uses gravatar. https://en.gravatar.com/ This is WordPress’ way of displaying user profiles. Used commonly across many websites.
