Hello,
I want to submit my changes for the Tourmaster plugin. How can I do that? Currently, the problem is that whenever a new update gets released, I have to manually make my changes to the files which is very tedious and prone to errors.
I have read through the comments and many people have requested the single supplement and triple supplement pricing. The features I have added are exactly that.
Here are the details:
- When creating a tour, under the “Date & Price” tab, you have the option to turn on/off the supplement pricing option via “Enable Supplement Pricing” toggle button.
- When supplement pricing is enabled, you have 2 additional fields under “Base Price” category, “Single Supplement Price” and “Triple Supplement Price”. You have the option to leave either one of them blank and only fill out the one you need.
- If a tour is being booked for 1 person then the total price is “Price Per Person” + “Single Supplement Price”.
- If a tour is being booked for 2 people then the total price is simply 2 * “Price Per Person” since supplement pricing does not apply here.
- If a tour is being booked for 3 people then the total price is 2 * “Price Per Person” + “Triple Supplement Price”.
- The generated invoice also shows the supplement prices in the price breakdown.
Please let me know how I can submit my changes to you so that they become part of the next release.
You can use my website, www.boggotours.com, to test out the changes once you implement them in the Tourmaster plugin. The prices for luxury train tours should match.

I have sent you all of the changes along with a text file explaining where the changes were made with file name and line number.
The single supplement discount that you describe at https://docs.google.com/uc?id=1DJRoOE9nSXiyckuGHl9XYv7QAWSK6ooR is different. Single supplement price is different when compared to single supplement discount. In a single supplement discount, you give a discount to the client on a base price. In a single supplement (or triple supplement) price, you add additional price to the base price.

About the single supple (and discount), I think it’s working the same so we add this in the first place. Our intension is to make it work as single supplement too.
For example, normally the initial price will be for 2 people.
So if I set initial price as $1800 and single discount as $400
When travel with 2 people the price will be $1800 which is about $900 each
But if 1 person, the price will be $1200 for one person.
What do you think about this, don’t you think it’s the same? I’m opened to hear your opinion

In your scenario, if the base price per person is set to $900 then for 2 people the price will be $1800. For 1 person it will be $900 + $400 = $1300. But, if you are setting the base price per person to be $1800 then this is not the same as the price should be calculated as per the base price per person.
If that is what you intend to use single supplement discount as then yes, you are correct that this is the same. But, you may want to rename “Single Supplement Discount” to something like “Single Supplement Price” because with the word “Discount” it is confusing. Also, you should also add “Triple Supplement Discount” as many tour agencies use up to Triple Supplement Pricing.
Once you receive my email, look through my changes and see if you like them. I am also open to suggestions. I have been using my changes for a year now and everything works as expected. I really like this theme and would like to contribute to make it even better with useful features.

Thank you very much for explanation. The reason we do this because our dev tried to implement the supplement before but it wasn’t possible with the system as it’s stuck with some calculation so we had to switch to single discount instead but the result is the same.
However, thanks for your code! we will audit on your code and get back to you about the result and if it effect to other pricing part or not.

I just wanted to check if you were able to download the package after I made it public. I sent an email to contact@goodlayers.com to confirm this but did not get a reply yet.
Also, I mentioned in the email that there seems to be a bug in this theme where it does not work with Internet Explorer. The booking bar works in Google Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge but not in Internet Explorer.

Hi, Im very interested to buy this product. But the only thing that its lack is, the ability to apply the discount to ADULT ONLY base on user amount. I do not want the discount to apply to children infant etc, only for adult.

Sorry it won’t work that way. This theme is not Woocommerce based plugin so it won’t work with any Woocommerce extension.
However , we are considering for this feature in future update.
I hope that you could work this very soon and send an update because it really need badly for this kind of Theme, particularly in local currency in our country. We cannot use USD as default price as the locals need to see it as local currency.
Any recommendation that work on the theme as plugins, as temporary?
We do also have Foreign clients that needs to see the prices as their own local currency. We really need this Currency Switcher.
Unfortunately, there’s no way to use multi-currency right now as we don’t have this feature yet and it request huge customisation for this. In this case, you may consider to hire a coder to do the work first.
Hello, I read many comments about translating and apparently there are different options (Poedir, Polilang, WMPL). Which one is the best/recommended consindering our needs: 1) We need the website to be in 3 different languages (today English, Portuguese, Spanish, maybe add other in the future). 2) We need the content and the MENU to be on each language. 3) We would like to use the tool for creating tours and the using the elements and functions on the page builder that list the toursand etc (even that we won’t use the booking form and the booking system). 1. If you need multilingual site, please use Polylang or WPML. My recommended is WPML, because they have great support team and they can help you almost 90% or 95% of your requirements.
2. It will possible with multilingual plugin.
3. You can disable the booking form in: Tour Settings > Tour Settings > Reservation Bar > Choose none then check tour post again.
Hello Goodlayers, thanks a lot for the reply. I’m trying the Polylang and I’ll need to ‘duplicate post’ and then assign a language for each one of them. OK. No problemas to do that. But there are 3 problems: a) The tours can NOT be duplicated so that means we can NOT use the tour widgets to diplay them? b) How do we translate the text/buttons of each of the widgets (for example: “View Details”, “VIew all tours” , “Reviews”, etc. c) Also, after installing Polylang my homepage content disappeared. When accessing the page all the content is there (text, images, etc) but when we check the website URL just the basic title and default options. After trying to update one more time, the content came back. So I assume this happened just because we installed the Polylang plugin with some previous contenct already published. It won’t happen for the future posts/pages OR when we add another languafe when the whole wbeaite is already done OR when we update the Polylang plugin in the future? Thanks!!

1. Please use duplicate plugin to duplicate a tour post and setup language for it, for duplicate plugin, you can try use: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/ . Please go to plugin setting and enable tour post type before you can use it.
2. For the text/button, you will need use loco plugins to translate the string in themes/plugins, if you use Polylang plugin.

3. I’m not sure what wrong, I don’t face that problem anytime so I can’t make sure anything, could you try ask author plugin about it instead?
I’m recommended backup your site weekly or before update themes/plugins, if you afraid it’s broken.
OK, thanks again. I’ll test loco strings to edit the buttons and string text. But one question is missing… When I create the tours using your tour tool, (Dashboard > Tour > Add New, the new tour atuomatically appear on the list of the tours, but they are not on Pages or Posts. So we can NOT duplicate the tour and then translate them. Even if we create 1 tour per laguage (which is not very practical but could work), would I be able to edit the strings/buttons and create/edit the widgets for each language? The real question is, how do I manage the tours I created using your tour tool for different languages?

Hello Goodlayers. Thanks for the help. One more question. When using the element widget tour, it automatically brings information from each tour (taken from tour settings) such as duration, availability, min. age, destination, etc, and 1 custom excerpt field. Is there a way to create more fields to be populated on this element? Currently I can only see those: duration, availability, departure location, return location, minimum age, maximum people, custom excerp (in tour option). I’d like to create other fields like price, difficulty level for example. It would be nice to be able to edit/insert an icon on each one of this fields as well. I can see at the bottom of the page of the tour (when creating or editing them) after ‘tour settings’ and ‘excerpt’ there is a section ‘Custom fields’ with the columns ‘name’ and ‘value’ and after this section, there’s ‘add new custom field’ but it didn’t work. There’s a list with fields like ’ slide_template’, ‘tourmaster-book-in-advance’ and many other but changing the values on each one doesn’t make any difference. It’s call custom fields and it will requirement customize code to add it. If you want add new value for your purpose, you can take a look in: wp-content/plugins/tourmaster/include/tour-option.php file. We don’t provide support for customize because it’s beyond our support policy.

It will need requirement the code, it’s the default fields of the wordpress core, you can’t change it directly like that because it not update the data in database.

All these custom fields that appear at the end of the editing page of each tour ( after we crete them at the tourmaster) examples : slide_template, tourmaster-book-in-advance, tourmaster-max-people, and so on, they are NOT ready to use variables/fields. What the buttons DELETE and UPDATE under each one of this fields actually do and also the blanl fiels on the right side of each one? Is this a WP thing not the tourmaster? Is it useless? I don’t really get what are they for but it will be nice to be able to use and apply some of these fields. Best regars.

The default custom fields from WordPress can’t control and update the custom fields in our Tour Settings, so I’m recommended you update the value in our UI instead: https://photos.app.goo.gl/bfxJe2JHZ7ZZY9nE6 .
If you need create new field, you will need use custom code or use third party plugins to do it.
You may install Plugin that manages custom fields.
Meta Box plugin – Plugin that allows you to create custom meta boxes and custom fields.
Piklist – Plugin that allows you to create custom meta boxes and fields everywhere in WordPress.
Advanced Custom Fields – Plugin that allows you to create complex fields and layouts using a user friendly interface.

OK. Thanks for the reply one more time. So, with these plugins I’ll be able to create fields that I can edit on the tour settings? Please check the image on this link https://photos.app.goo.gl/db9ede5oN4EK5EbL8. The final result we need is other fields (price, difficulty level, brief description etc) to show on the widget/element ‘tour’ (on the image please look at the green circle). The information we see in the green circle today comes from the tour settings (red circle) when editing each tour. With the plugins you suggested, will we be able to create new fields that will appear on the red circle, and thus, in the post in the green circle, when published? Will this work for multiple languages? Thanks in advance.

1.) After you downloaded file from Themeforest. Do not upload it yet. Extract it!
2.) You will find 6-7 folders and some files inside. You’ll see the file called ‘traveltour.zip’
3.) Upload this file through wp backend.

2. Sorry, we don’t have that feature as well. We have to direct to Stripe because we don’t collect credit card data in the theme’s system for security reason.
