Sorry but the Newsmag theme cannot have a wider layout. The theme width is fixed.

Hi, I am placing the google adsense code in theme panel and saving it, however after reload the page the code doesn’t seem to be there in the blocks like “Article inline ad” and other blocks and they don’t appear on the respective places as well.
I have tested it from text widget and it works fine, just from theme panel they don’t work. Any help on it will be highly appreciated.

Hi.
Urgent FIX needed for images and “Page is not mobile friendly” with “Content wider than screen” that give also “Clickable elements too close together”.
If your site has bigger images without width set and .png” alt=”” /> or width=”640 + ” so much higher than 640, google will give error. Having these errors, I changed width to 640 in post image and no more error on https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly
I see in forum support people with same issue, and was said to check plugins and others. In fact I inspect one user page and saw higher images width that sure gave erorr in console, despite browser say responsive.

Many sites changed to newsmag from other teams that had wider images width. Please update theme, and give fix ASP until update, as is urgent and drops rankings in google because errors on mobile.

I have these faulty errors in all site, where images had higher width. There is a way to fix this, google doesn’t like it ? Is a very serious issue, that can makes me change theme, rankings were dropped since these errors came. Demo has errors, other newsmag site has errors as I checked, my site has errors, so this error is in all newsmag.
Any fix for this serious error ?
I also tested some own pages in theme with higher width and in browser mobile it didnt show responsive. image was wider…

Sometimes if the theme resources like the stylesheet are slow to load or there is a delay when testing, the result may be negative. The mobile menu won’t have any styling and will appear as links detected as too close together for example.
We recommend the mobile theme plugin, provided in the theme package. This is much lighter and will provide increased performance on mobile. Using HEADER AD for mobile only, seems to create this issue most of the times. I keep testing and without header ads, have no errors in google tests. Any fix for this ? I have to use header ad.

Thank you for your interest in our theme. The next big theme version is still in development and it will still be some time before release. We need to release a dot revision first in order to implement needed changes to it first so the Next big theme version is still at lest one dot revision away.

Thank you for your interest in our theme. Unfortunately the implementation you seek is not present by default. you will need to use plugins for multiple authors or to to show a job title and company name in the author widget.

We have not tested litespeed cache. We can only recommend wp super cache and these settings: https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
As for tagDiv Composer, that is impossible. tagDiv Composer is a required functionality and is included in the theme. Please access the welcome screen and press the install button and the required theme plugins will automaticaly be installed.

Thanks for the response! If I’m not mistaken, there is no tagDiv Cloud Library on Newsmag though, its just on the ‘Newspaper’ theme.

Hi. I can’t seem to get the child theme that is included in the download of the latest update to work correctly. It seems to break the layout. The function and css files are dated 2017-03-20. The child theme in the last update did not break the layout but functionality like changing the Default Post Template (site wide) in the Post Setting of the Theme Panel didn’t/dosen’t work with it but works fine if you don’t use the child theme. I’ve always used the child them with Newsmag but the last few updates have broken it. Do you have a fix? Thanks.

Hi,
Normally, the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed.
