Hi, so far I am really enjoying working on this theme. I have few questions & would love your assistance.

1- I am looking at running this tour site for a specific country and would love to have custom post “cities” so that customers can search the tours by the city. Are you looking at adding this in your next update? or any other solutions if you can advise?

2- Secondly if I use the calendar sidebar tour page how can I make the calendar stickly/floating?

3- I tried asking this question on booked plugin comment page but still there is not answer. I know the agent can view their bookings if [booked-profile] but can the same agent approve/decline their bookings?

4- Just to get it right, if a tour has been created & assigned to an agent. I would create a new calendar that will be assigned to this agent. For capturing booking+payment using woocommerce I also have to create a new product with the same title as the tour title name?

Thanks

Hi, good to hear!

I’ll answer your questions here, but in the future please open a ticket as it’s the best way for us to provide support: https://themovation.ticksy.com

1. With the options available right now, depending how many cities you have you could create a page for each city and have them in the main menu dropdown. Expanding the search functionality is something we are considering for a future update.

2. That is not currently an option available in the theme but may be added in a future update. It may also be possible to use a plugin or a script but I don’t have one on hand to recommend.

3. Yes the frontend agents add-on allows for booking agents to approve or decline bookings on the frontend of the site.

4. Generally, yes. Technically there are numerous ways it could be setup. In some cases there could be one or a few purchasable products shared between calendars, but in most cases it would be probably be best to have a specific WooCommerce product for each calendar.

I have recently bought this item and there are few issues I come a cross with. One is icons are not showing up on webiste instead I have a cross

Can you try adding this to your custom css?

.elementor-icon i.fa, .elementor-icon i.fas {font-weight:900}

To add css, please see: https://themovation.helpscoutdocs.com/article/175-adding-your-own-custom-css

happy to help.

It does not work.

http://kalkanboat.com/

You can check out my website.

Ok I thought it might have been due to a recent Elementor update, but this is something unrelated. The icons aren’t showing because it seems that the site was migrated from a temporary / staging URL, and some links were not updated. Even your main menu links lead here: http://box2010.temp.domains/~kalkanta/

Have you updated both URLs in the WP dashboard under Settings > General ?

After that, use this tool as well: https://docs.elementor.com/article/218-i-changed-the-url-of-my-website-and-elementor-does-not-work-anymore

Hello, I think of buying this item. I was wondering if its possible to request only tours. Also could I add Email and phone number on the request form ?

Kind Regards.

Hi, yes certainly – you can set it up so that customers can just request to book a tour. You can also add phone number and email to the form as well.

Could you help me out with my problems aykutdeniz68@gmail.com is my email adress I will buy the item once everything.is sorted

Hi, I just responded to your live chat message that we received. If you have any other questions, please open a ticket: https://themovation.ticksy.com

If you have already opened a ticket we’ll be getting back to you shortly :)

Hi, have bought my 2nd theme from you, first being Eatery. Love your work and hope you will keep adding new features to this theme. I have not yet uploaded the theme yet but I know it will be an awesome experience working on this.

I was wondering about the reviews shown in a single tour page. Those seem self-written by the admin to fill up space. How would a customer who bought the tour/package will rate/review the service once his tour is completed?

Thanks

Hi, thank you – great to hear! I think you’ll find Embark is a significant improvement from Eatery :)

The reviews shown there are an example of a business owner displaying curated reviews. You could open it up to customers in a few ways – the simplest is probably to use a plugin for that, and there are some free options: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/reviews/

If you have any other questions, please open a ticket as it’s the best way to reach us: https://themovation.ticksy.com

can you please recommend a review plugin that would best suite in tour page?

Hi, we don’t have one go-to suggestion. it really depends on the exacts of what you are looking for. There are some good premium options here: https://codecanyon.net/category/wordpress?term=reviews&utf8=%E2%9C%93#content

If you are looking for a free plugin, I suggest the repo: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/reviews/

Hi Guys! any method to Prevent Image Theft in your theme who recommended , like the image gallery thanks!

Good question. Certainly any plugin that you find on the WP repo. https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/ – See the search results and read the features to find the one that best suits your requirements.

Cheers :)

Hi I would like to implement fareharbor , as far as I see your mentioned

There are however different options you could consider if Booked isn’t exactly what you need. Here are two other systems that are compatible with Embark:

FareHarbor – http://www.fareharbor.com (no monthly fee – pay per transaction)

Where could I find all instructions to engaged fareharbor with embark for success implementation, Which plugin should I deactivate ( ej booked, what else)

Hi,

We don’t yet have documentation specific to implementing FareHarbor – that is coming soon. However mainly you would just want to sign up for an account, install the WordPress plugin, connect your account, and add the embed code provided by FareHarbor.

In terms of plugins to disable, there should not be a conflict but if you aren’t using Booked then it would be:

Booked
Booked Add on : Calendar Feeds
Booked Add on : Front end agents
Booked Add on: WooCommerce

and if you aren’t using WooCommerce then you can disable that as well.

If you have any other questions, we’re happy to assist. Please feel free to open a ticket: https://themovation.ticksy.com

thank you guys! to be there always

No problem!

Hi , I almost finish adapting my site your theme, I installed google translator plugin but it doesn’t work well, Which plugin recommended to have another 1 or 2 languages more. Could I install a plug in now after all mi website is done in one language

Hi,

There are 2 main options that we recommend:

WPML – subscription – http://bit.ly/1AnVGhR

Polylang – free with optional upgrade – https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/

Yes you can certainly add and configure the translation plugin after your site is built in one language.

If you have any other questions, please open a ticket where we’re happy to assist: http://themovation.ticksy.com

Hi folks, I already installed your theme, I installed the version free of Polylang + The Elementor connector apparently everythings seems works fine until in a page or post or tours (templates designed by you guys ) want to create other idioms and it didnt works all the page gone, disappear any ideas How this could work fine!

Hi, Polylang has these helpful articles for getting started: https://polylang.pro/doc-category/getting-started/

Also it’s important to ensure that you set the language for existing content. See here: https://polylang.pro/doc/assign-a-language-to-an-existing-content/

Ensure it’s assigned for Tours, then Posts, then Pages.

Hi I would like to know in which way is possible to add social share buttons, as far I seen couldn’t find in the elementor any ideas? I bought the theme a couples of weeks ago

Hi,

There are a number of plugins that can be used to automatically add social sharing links into your posts and/or pages. Here are a couple options:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/shared-counts/ https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/

Elementor includes a widget for social icons which can be linked anywhere, but not specifically for social sharing: https://cl.ly/da8083d62708

If you are wanting an Elementor widget, this add-on includes one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgetkit-for-elementor/

hi there, just wondering how to amend the price to become From and not after the physcial amount

Hello, thanks for getting in touch. Can you send me a screenshot of the area you are referring to?

Hi there. I want my pages to look exactly like the tour-pages, but if I open them in Elementor I can only edit the content, but not the header+title. What can I do?

Hi, after the automated theme setup you should have examples of each type of Tour that you can clone and work from rather than starting from scratch.

However if you do start from a blank page, you may find that the default title is showing. You can hide that page title and then lay out the whole page as you want. Here is how to hide it: https://cl.ly/d6b6ba86a811

Hi There, we are looking to have an area where our tours are shown on the site, but we have member only inclusions and only members can book. Is it possible to have parts of the page only visible if members are logged in?

Hi, it’s not an included feature to have certain parts of a page show only to members – however if that’s what you want to do, it seems this free Elementor add-on should work for that: https://wordpress.org/plugins/dynamic-visibility-for-elementor/

The change log was (again) not updated. What changed in version 1.2 ?

Is it possible to change the default time slots to half hour segments without having to manually change this option all the time? So for the drop down options of booking it shows 10:30 to 2:30, 2:30 to 5:30 and so on, presently the default times are 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 and so on, would be great to have the option added on as a default.

Are you referring to when an admin makes a booking from the frontend of the site? Since it’s an admin, have you tried instead creating the bookings in the backend of the site?

Referring to when the admin makes booking in the admin panel of the backend.

Ok, using the same email shouldn’t be a problem in general – do you mean there’s an issue when making more than one booking for the exact same slot using the same email?

That may not be an option. If you want to do that, since they are admin bookings you could just use phony email addresses, could you not?
Such as booking-2pm@yourdomain.com

Hi there, Is there a way to change the layout of the blog page? Currently blog posts are stacking under each other. Is there a way to have posts in a grid format?

Thanks!

Hi, yes you can either select the Masonry blog template on the Edit Page screen, or you can edit the page with Elementor and add the Masonry Blog widget.

See here for more info: https://themovation.helpscoutdocs.com/article/155-setting-up-a-blog-page

If there is any issue, please open a ticket: https://themovation.ticksy.com

Heya, our support is expired but we want to report latest version to break quite a few things…

1. Footer widgets are displayed in raw text format instead of rendered correctly. Very frustrating issue.

2. Pagination doesn’t work, when you have a post widget from Elementor Pro, the pagination returns 404 errors, page not found.

It’s pretty frustrating as nothing else was done to the site than theme and Embark plugins updates…

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

1. I imagine that you are using the W3 Total Cache plugin? We recently discovered a conflict with that plugin that can cause the issue you mentioned.

For an immediate fix, you can temporarily disable the W3 plugin. We will be fixing the issue and releasing a hotfix asap. Once the new version is available then you can update and then re-activate the plugin and there will be no issue.

2. We haven’t had anyone else report this issue. Are you saying that it was working before the update?

I am having issues with the tour grid. Tours I added recently show a larger image than the ones added a while ago. Is this a bug? Or is there any way to correct this? In addition there are some gaps in between which don’t look nice. https://latinspirations.com/all-latin-america-tours/

Hi,

The Tour Grid has always been designed to display square blocks: https://demo.themovation.com/embark/walking-tours/elements/tour-grid/

In a previous version of the theme, if images were uploaded at less than 605px on each side, then it was possible that they would appear in a different aspect ratio, which is likely what happened on your site.

We corrected that issue in a past update, so I imagine you updated at some point which is why the newly uploaded ones are square.

What you could do now is use this plugin to recreate the image sizes which avoids having to re-upload any images: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Then all of them will appear square which will also remove the blank spaces. Does that make sense?

Hi Author,

I want to buy the theme but I has some questions.

1. Does this theme use Elementor Pro or just the free version? And If I need to buy the Pro version (49$)?

2. Do I need to buy the Booked plugin in order to use all the feature or it is included here? After how long will I have to buy the plugin to have the updates included?

3. In the Booking Calendar, can I add instead of hours, names, like: Trip on the boat to X island. I’m asking this bcz., we will not offer trips by time only by day and name. People will choose where they want to go, the trips will not be restraint by fixed hours.

Just want to choose: Name of the trip Day of the trip Adults or Childrens How many? Names E-mail and other custom information like that.

Hi,

1. The theme includes the standard version of Elementor. Absolutely everything shown in the demo – and much more – is possible with the included version of Elementor. Nothing shown in our demos requires Pro.

Elementor Pro does not have an extended license so no WordPress themes are able to bundle it with purchase.

We do however include additional custom widgets that we created that seamlessly integrate into the page builder (Tour Grid, Slider, Team Members, Pricing Table, Packages, and more).

2. We have an extended license for Booked, so the complete Booked plugin and add-ons are included in Embark, and you can update the plugin from the WP admin area.

3. Yes, every time slot can have its own name, so you can easily add in the tour names and you can make them “all day” instead of times.

There is also a section where you can add custom fields to collect additional info as you mentioned.

Hi,

Is it possible to assign multiple booking agents to the same calendar or would i need to create one calendar for each agent? For example, i have 3 available booking calendars with specific slots per calendar and multiple agents. I want for my agents to be able to book only those 3 calendars, so i could check at the end of the week how many bookings each agent contributed to the agency. Can i do that?

Hi, each calendar can be assigned to only one booking agent. Admins can always view and edit all calendars though.

Is it the agents that will be inputting the bookings onto the calendar? In that case they wouldn’t need for it to be assigned to them, they could just make the booking under the name of the agent, or it could be customer’s name but you could have a field where the agent’s name or a code is input.

Does that make sense?

Hello, Where can I change the contact information in the footer widget? Only see the title in the widget, no text

Hi, we are happy to answer all of your questions- for support we just need confirmation of the purchase. Did you purchase the theme on another account? Please login with the purchasing account and either:

I had 2 issues related to booking emails. 1. The confirmation email doesnot always come. While it comes some times, in other cases there is no email after the booking is made. This is despite confirming the booking in the back end from the pending list. 2. In the cases the email comes, it comes from “wordpress”. How do we change this to name of our company?

Hello and thanks for reaching out.

For both email confirmation and from text, please use a plugin like Easy WP SMTP or the others listed here:

https://themovation.helpscoutdocs.com/article/119-formidable-emails-not-sending-or-receiving

Basically your host is probably blocking the email and also forcing the from label to be something like “WordPress”

Happy to help.

Next time, please create a ticket for us here: https://themovation.ticksy.com/

thanks. I have installed plug in Easy WP SMTP and emails are working. However i want to change the from header “Wordpress” to ” 5 Senses Motorcycle Tours”, my company name. Let me know how to do it
