Thank you for your interest in our theme. The theme along with MAS Videos plugin allows you to add movies, TV Shows and Videos. However to enable subscriptions you’ll have to rely on third-party plugins like WP Restrict Content Pro or Ultimate Membership.

Question: How do we get the Instagram icon to show up if we want to add Instagram to the Social Media Footer?

Thanks. The icon appeared, but it’s smaller than the other icons and it’s aligned right next to the word “Instagram”. There’s no spacing like the other icons. How do we fix the size and spacing?

We’re experience another issue that could prove to be serious. Once we uploaded the demo and opened a page to edit, we’re noticing that there are blocks that are showing up with an error message saying “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”. How do we fix this?

1. Theme is not compatible with WooCommerce however you can use plugins like Ultimate Membership Pro or Restrict Content Pro to achieve features like subscription and membership management.
2. We currently do not have page builder compatibility. Our theme uses Gutenberg for build home pages.
3. Our theme bundled with Vodi Extensions plugin. MAS Videos the plugin that we developed for Vodi which is available for free in WordPress.org repository. We does not bundle theme with any other premium plugins.
4. Yes, you can use WP media library to host a video. We have both options you can use self hosted video or use third party embeds.

Why there is no video uploading option, can you make self-hosted video loading and youtube url video option? Can we monetize with adsense and other ad network with this site? Thank you for your interest in our theme. Currently we are working on user video upload feature and it should be available in our next release.
As for monetisation/subscription/payment options, the theme does not have any of these options. You’ll have to rely on third-party plugins that integrates with WordPress to achieve this feature.
For example you can use WooCommerce or EDD or Ultimate Membership Pro or Restrict Content Pro or any other third-party plugins to achieve subscriptions feature.

Currently the theme uses WordPress’s default search engine. You can use advanced search feature provided by JetPack or any other third-party WordPress advanced search plugins.

Hello author, could you add a style similar to film style 7 to the theme of TV series?I communicated with you before and you said to give feedback to the designer.Any news now.Movie style 7 makes it universal.Style 7 is really beautiful, there are too few style pages for TV series.
Another tip is to add a language selection button to the TMDB importer, because TMDB supports multiple languages, which you don’t have in your design. If you add this option, it will save editors a lot of time for repeated editing.

Hello, I activated the main theme and installed child theme as well according to the guide said and activated that as well. Now only child theme is in active status. Yes, when you activate child theme it will only display as active and it uses Vodi as parent theme. If you click theme details it will show “This is a child theme of Vodi”.
When you import our dummy data you’ll have a website similar to this : https://demo.madrasthemes.com/vodi/ which has placeholder images instead of actual images. We do not have the right to distribute the images, we only have the right to use them commercially. Hence our dummy content will contain only placeholder images instead of actual images. Actual images take lot of time to import and usually breaks the importer causing error 500 and other issues. Also your website could be slapped with a DMCA notice in future if they find out about using copyrighted images. It is safer, better and faster to use placeholder images instead of actual images.

- Google Adsence can inserted into theme via custom scripts. You can use a plugin like this : https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-js/ to add custom JS.
- A child theme is an empty theme that is intended to have all your customisations. If you make customisations directly to the parent theme it will be lost during updates. You can read about child theme here : https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/

We added video search widget in our demo site. We have 3 header search widgets(Video, Movie, TV Show) in theme and we can choose it from theme option for which search widget to display in header.
The theme is RTL compatible. However the theme is available in English only. You’ll have to translate it to Arabic.
