Hi, if you’re referring to Opencart catalog product management, any Opencart admin extension should work fine with Journal as we don’t modify the Opencart admin catalog functionality so no compatibility issues should exist.

That is only available on hover, and there are no hover events on mobile.
Hi, 1) theme not support “product list” view in “phone” as first style in catalog, not grid (after set it) 2) it is possible to set image container size in product list style, not just in skins/image dimensions (because this affects more other looks) 3) it is possible in product list image that when hover or click on image it zoom, or pop up as a picture, not to open the product page?

1. This should work fine but make sure you have cleared your browser’s cookies after changing the default view otherwise the previous view will be used instead.
2. Unfortunately this does’t work like that in the list and there isn’t an option for the container size at this time.
3. You can use the same quickview button like on the grid, the button will show over the image on hover.

Hi, not sure we understand but products images are not included in the export, just the catalog structure (if you import catalog data).

Every time I renew modifications all my images, icons and generally random parts (such as menu and footer) disappear from the front end. When I re upload modifications folder (from the storage folder) they re appear but still have issues (icons not appearing in admin). Any solution?

Hi, Journal 3 does not support Opencart 2.1 unfortunately. We have listed the supported versions in the description on Themeforest as seen here: https://take.ms/oIbmO
You can use the old Journal 2 theme if you wish, that supports older Opencart versions.

Latest version of Journal 3, when you add related products in a blog posts. Related products are not shown in the same way as I add them, but are sorted by their own. Is this a bug?

BEST OPENCART THEME EVER! im happy about it and really sad that i need to use only this theme in all my projects, really need more layout in this at least, more layout demos ! already used all layouts in my projects : ) make more variations in product page! thanks, and one thing u removed from journal 3… its a easy header variation change…. now its not just choose header variation i need to built it… would be nice if i can import only header from other layout or smth..
Hi and thank for the feedback! While it’s nice to have everything ready made, Journal is not just great for the demos it comes with, it’s for the actual engine and set of options with which you can create anything you want.
You are the designer now. We built the tools in Journal to empower you to design your own great things. Don’t be afraid to play around with all the options and mix them up. The demos cover some starting points but if you study them just a bit you’ll see how they are made from the same admin and same set of options, and how quickly you can modify them to create something different and unique.
That said, we’d like to have more demos, just can’t say exactly when.

My support has expired but now I’ve noticed that the login page (account layout) for Journal 3 is not responsive. You can see on Demo 7 / Demo 3 / Demo 8 / skin.
Hi, you need to set up the proper column split width in those elements, look in Journal > Skins > Edit > Account > Login Page and indicate how many columns should there be displayed: https://take.ms/HPahT
As you can see we display 2 columns normally, but add a breakpoint rule (green + button on the right side of the option) where we indicate a screen width at which to change the option value…in this case we make the columns 1 per row (stacked) at the 980 screen width, but you can choose whatever screen width you want.
This breakpoint concept applies to any CSS based option (pretty much all of them) where you can define rules for different screen widths and set up the sam option differently at screen width you want.
For example you can have a larger font size that you may like on desktop but want to make it smaller on phones…so you add a breakpoint rule for this option, indicate your desired screen width and apply a different font size which will only apply when the screen reaches that breakpoint width.

Hi, Currently I have Journal v3.0.39. PayPal Express Checkout Still not working. Please suggest, How I can fix this issue.
Hi, one-page checkouts are not compatible with Paypal anymore. Paypal has changed its API and Opencart followed suit from version 3.0.3.1.
As it stands now, no one-page checkouts work with Paypal so you can either roll back Opencart to a version before 3.0.3.1 or use the default Opencart multi-step checkout.
We are monitoring this and if a solution surfaces we will of course implement it, but as it is now this is out of our hands.
