Please make sure that you navigate to Elated Options > Blog > Blog Lists and Blog Single and set the Archive and Category Sidebar, and Sidebar Layout to no sidebar.

Also please navigate to and edit the page in question and scroll down to Elated Sidebar and make sure that Layout option is set to blank.

If none of this shows the sidebar you need to navigate to Appearance > Widgets > Sidebar widget area and make sure that it has widgets set within it.

I already have all the settings turned on that you listed above. I double checked them and everything looks ok but I’m still not seeing the sidebars. I have 4 licenses for the Borderland theme but I think the support has expired for them all.

Unfortunately, the native design options do not provide such a feature, because single shop page uses some predefined layout and that can be changed only with some custom coding.

We have just tested this out on our end and everything works just fine. This may be something on your end that needs checked, it is not possible to provide exact reason or solution for this without checking within your back-end. But since you are using local server, unfortunately, we’re not in a position to check this.

Anyhow, it is possible that something was uploaded wrong or something is corrupt with your WP install, so try to download a fresh copy of the theme and install it. Then re-install all required plugins.

Thank you so much for your response. I managed to solve the problem: I had activated the option Elated Options > Visual Composer > Enable Grid Elements. Because of this, a message was being shown in the General tab of Elated Options, which said that transitions wouldn’t work because VC Grid was activated. What I did was deactivated it and then enable it again. I’m not sure why but this worked. Maybe this setting needs to be updated in order to load properly Ajax instance (or something related to it).

As you can see in the following screenshot, you can enable / disable social sharing for pages, post or portfolio items through Theme Options → Social → http://postimg.cc/hXJFK11H

Also, you can try to achieve it by using this 3rd party plugin for that → https://wordpress.org/plugins/addthis/ some customers have suggested it but we haven’t tested it yet.

Hello there Thank you very much for your support Your advice did work to get back our SSL certificate back on track. During this process we realized the issue we had with our menu navegation was actully due to the flash player. Here I have a big concern, since I have noticed a few messages on chrome where they say Flash Player will be out of service soon and the browser will not longer support this. What will be the way to be prepare for this? will you guys be able to support us? I wasn´t aware the menu navegation had any relation with the flash player Looking forward to hear from you And thank you so much again for your support

The flash player message you have seen is shown simply because we included that as an option for the browser to play the background video you have setup. Of course, this is only one of the options and once the flash player is not supported anymore the browser will simply switch to a different option of playing the video.

Thanks for responding. I was able to finally get it resolved after posting. Turned out it wasn’t in the theme settings anywhere. It was something Visual Composer was doing. Solution was to add an “Empty Space” element at the top of that page and set it to -1 in case anyone else seeing this is having a similar issue.

Thank you for your response Okay, one last question if you can answer it or i will add it to the ticket. I have a left side menu and my content page display behind my menu. I activated the button “Always put content below header” and still can’t fix it. Is there another option to make my content page beside my left menu ?

Hello,

Please note that we had to change function names in the latest update, according to Themeforest requests – therefore, your customization in the child theme does not work anymore, but this should be easy to fix. You just have to change function name prefixes from ‘elated’ to ‘borderland_elated’ in your child theme.

So the function name ‘elated_is_native_font’ should be changed to ‘borderland_elated_is_native_font’ in your child theme functions.php file.

You can install child theme just like you install any wp theme – choose borderland-child.zip in the folder with the installation files that you downloaded from Theme forest and activate it.

Before that save on your computer all files that you’ve added / modified within current child theme, so you would be able to re-add that custom code / css into updated child theme.

1. All tickets in our support forum are assigned by our support agents and they are answered from oldest to newest, and usual response time is up to 24h and it might vary depending on number of tickets.

2. Regarding the Layer slider and WP Bakery PB plugin, please note that WP Bakery (Visual Composer) and Layer Slider come with our theme as bundled plugin via extended licence we have bought. More about it can be found in this article https://elated.ticksy.com/article/10866/ and also there is another useful link on Envato about bundled plugins in that article.

So, WP Bakery and LayerSlider will work fine for you, just ignore messages and warning about activation of it.

3. It is possible that something was uploaded wrong or something is corrupt with your WP install.

Download a fresh copy of the theme and install it. Then re-install all required plugins. Make sure that you’ve installed the latest version of Core plugin as well.

In major update, we had to move widgets inside core plugin because of latest WordPress codding standards, and integration was required by Theme Forest. Widgets are now probably inactive when you access Appearance > Widgets so you will have to add them to correct widget areas. In case that you can load backup I suggest to use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-importer-exporter/ to backup widgets, and in case that they disappear after the update, you can import them again.

It is possible that something has not been installed/adjusted correctly, or it can be hosting related. Also, it is possible that some 3rd party plugin is causing that issue on your end.

There are five major reasons why these errors occur in WordPress:

- Incorrect web server configuration - Incorrect folder/file permissions - Corrupt files or files that contain errors in code - PHP memory limits set too low - Conflicting third party plugins

You can go to your WP Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks and then reset / save changes.

If the problem persists try to deactivate all of your plugins to make sure they are not causing this issue. If the issue goes away, then you can enable them one by one to find out which one is causing the issue. If you still have issues after you have deactivated all of your plugins, please try to download a fresh copy of the theme and install it. After that please don’t remember to re-install all required plugins as well.

I’ve been using this theme for about 4 years. I use it on 2 different sites that are pretty minimal. Fresh WP, fresh theme install, and a few dozen photos uploaded and 3-5 pages. Simple setup. Worked great for a long time. Now in the last year I get constant “page not found” when updated pages through my WP backend and other weird behaviors. WP is updated, newest update of theme is installed, only the plugins that the theme requires and google analytics plugins installed.
