Hi! Here are some pre-sales questions: The demo site are only job offers and I can’t see companies or candidates separately. Is possible to see candidates profile? Can candidates upload their titles, CV, or another legal or no papers? Is a possibility for companies with access to their information? Can the companies search candidates separately from job search? The people who is searching job is a candidate and if he pay money he can postulate to jobs and also be ready for the companies can find him. Then the companies should have a search page for to do it and for to contact them. I see that there are other templates and maybe in them it is clearer how it works, but the demo site is a bit poor: https://preview.themeforest.net/item/jobify-wordpress-job-board-theme/full_screen_preview/5247604?_ga=2.235191553.103683539.1566594030-1994216018.1566316937

And three questions more: 1. How is the security? This will be a exposure site, then I think there are some requeriments or suggests. 2. Can the companies evaluate or to give testimonials for their old employees in the site? And 3. How is the payment system? I need to implement a credit card payment system. Are there information for this?

In the Envato page, the link for to see demo in the first image (in the left column where you read “Everything you need to build…etc”) goes to another site https://listify-demos.astoundify.com/classic/(?)

Thank you, i hope your help!

Hey there,

Thanks for showing interest in our theme.

In relation to the questions here:

1. As for companies, what is possible is to have a page listing the respective companies in place using the WP Job Manager – Company Profiles plugin. Selecting a company will then redirect you to a list of jobs associated with that company. Here is a sample from the demo: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/companies/.

Companies are however not classified as users, therefore companies cannot carry out functions such as search candidates. The user who submits the job let’s say from within a specific company would be granted the employer role, and would act as the company representative. These users can search for candidates and you can also implement a way to contact the candidates. However, by default, candidate search is not limited to any user who visits your site. You may check into this from the link here: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/find-a-candidate/.

2.In respect to the candidates, you will need the Resume Manager plugin to have candidates in place. Candidates can be accessed directly as from the example here within the demo: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/resume/amanda-cook/.

Candidates can also upload their resume files during the resume submission. Here is an example: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/submit-your-resume/

3. About the security of the theme, our main concerns is security. We always want to have the best and most secure theme and plugins so therefore we pay close attention to all the factors that are involved in building and providing a secure experience. Whenever there is a security issue or bug in one of our 3rd party plugins that we provide with our theme we’ll do a hot fix / quick update and ship a secure version of the plugin immediately, so there is no danger since we moderate and administrate our version and make sure it is secure.

4. Unfortunately, as it currently stands there is no built-in feature for company testimonials on former employees.

5. With Jobify you can use any payment gateway that WooCommerce supports, see: http://www.woothemes.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways/

6. Thanks for notifying us on this. We’ll have this checked into.

Kind Regards,
John from Astoundify

Hi, I have some questions before buying your theme.

1- Can I hide candidates from unregistered users?

2- Can you limit the number of candidates to employers depending on the package?

3- Your theme have a subscriptions and recurring payments or is it done with an external plugin?

4-How does your payment method work?

5- Can the employer download invoices from your user area?

6- Can the employers and candidates form be customized?

7- Is there any way for a candidate to indicate that it is available? Ex: Tag: Available

Thank you very much!

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in.

In relation to the questions here:

1. By default, the theme itself does not provide any restriction access. WHat would perhaps be possible is use the WP Job Manager Visibility plugin to hide candidate details.

2. Sorry, unfortunately this is not possible.

3. You will need additional plugins for this. Specifically the Wc Paid Listing and WooCommerce Subscriptions plugins.

4. Our theme works with the default WooCommerce payment gateways. The theme does not administer any payment methods.

5. Unfortunately this is not possible from the employer dashboard.

6. If you are referring to the submission forms, yes these can be customized. Please check into this article on details relating to this.

7. What you can perhaps do is set a resume listing duration, of which will determine if a resume is active or expired. Here is an article on this.

I hope this helps.

Hi,

I’m working on a client website that uses this theme. We are not really liking the thumbnail with hard crop for showing job listings. How can we adjust this to use a different size? I have not been able to locate this in any of the files as of yet.

Thanks, -Reece

Hi, many plugins that your theme is running on, WP Job Manager & Ad-ons have not been tested with WP 5.2.2 nor have been updated for years. Does that not leave the website vulnerable? (https://jobify.astoundify.com/article/797-compatible-wp-job-manager-add-ons)

Hey there,

Please feel free to raise any presale questions here.

About the plugins, specifically which plugins are you referring to? Most of the plugins you are referencing within that article are from Wp Job Manager, and for any updates, they will need to be carried out from their end. They shouldn’t however leave your website vulnerable.

Hello, I am interested in Jobify but have a few presales questions. Where can we have a quick discussion?

HI May I know any tentative date about when FACETWP will be compatible with Jobify theme in future. I saw may thread open in comment section and every time it has been answered as the feature will be available on next release. But We dont have saw any kind of improvement or addition of any new features for long. I have also contacted with support and got reply to mark as Remainder to Developer.

The theme has pretty basic search hero search bar on home page and that has not been sufficient for a user to filter out their desired jobs from the site. Any if any site doestn’t have a good search option then their are pretty good chance to bounce back the user. Please do some work on search filter and integrate at least FACETWP asap. Thanks and regards Shuvashish

Hey Shuvashish,

Relating to your inquiry here, I believe you previously raised this question and we sent out a reminder to the development team on this. I may not be in a position to provide an exact ETA as to when this implementation will be improvised, but this is still something being looked into.

Please bear with us in the meantime.

hello, i don’t want to buy plugin. Does it work without buying add-ons? Can employers and job seekers make paid sharing?

Hey there, Thanks for writing in.

Relating to your question here, our theme basis its functionality on the Wp Job Manager plugin. With this plugin, unfortunately for a setup you have job seekers in place you will need the Resume Manager Plugin. In adition, for payments during submissions, whether resume or job submissions, you will need the Wc Paid Listings Plugin

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

For you information, the statistics plugin for wp jobmanager doesn’t show the require paid listing to show statistics checkbox that you are showing in the documentation. I’m running the latest Wp job manager, latest jobify and latest statistics plugin. And yes, I’ve installed the wp paid listings and woocommerce. Is this a bug?

May I ask when in time you’ll fix the plugin? With best regards, bb

Pre-sale question…

We’d like to be able to restrict the ability to apply for jobs, to people who have been pre-approved to do so. This would not involve paying for a subscription, rather we would manually amend the status of a user to access specific content. Is the theme able to offer that functionality? If not, would Restrict Content Pro allow for this to be done?

Update: Restrict Content Pro have said this is not possible with their plugin – does Jobify integrate with any other content restriction plugins?

Hey there,

Relating to your question here, our theme does not have a feature to accomplish this. I believe this would really depend on your application method or else plugin you are using for the application process. The WP Job Manager application plugin would only for example offer an option to only allow applications from registered users, but not with a restriction to only pre-approved users. This is something that would most likely involve some custom work. Unfortunately, we just don’t have the resources to offer custom work right now. However, we are partnered with and highly recommend WP Curve, Envato Studio or Codeable If you need help customizing your theme.

Do you have any idea how to let applicants leave a review on a company? eg. https://www.indeed.com/companies

Actually I tried your plugin, ‘Review’, but it doesn’t work as I expected. https://astoundify.com/products/wp-job-manager-reviews/

Hey there,

Relating to your question here, unfortunately, not at this time. Jobify has no support for reviews and ratings at this time.

Hello, i am searching for a job theme that can help me build a website only for Companyes,.

The ideea is that i have the database with the number of employees with skills and all, and only need to import the database to be searched by the Company

Can this be done with your theme?

Hey there,

Sorry for the late reply.

Relating to to your question here, you can bulk upload a candidate database into the Resume Manager plugin using a plugin such as the WP All Import Pro.

More details regarding how to bulk import: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/tutorial-importing-job-listings-wp-import-pro/

You can then search through the database of candidates/employees, see; https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/find-a-candidate/#s=1

Let me know if you have any questions on this.

Hi, everyone! If you are having issues logging into support, i’m sorry about the issues you might be having with it not accepting your username and password.

We are currently fixing the issue due to server side caching, and should be fix by tonight.

For now please email support@astoundify.com and we will reply via email.

Pre-sale questions :) 1. Is the featured image withing the job listing customizable by size? 2. Do you have social media sharing buttons within the job post or will I need a separate plugin for sharing? 3. Can the language be changed for the entire theme (all submission fields and everything)? 4. What happens when the job listing expires? Is it still saved as a draft in WP but not visible to users on the website?

Thanks in advance!

Hey there,

Thanks for showing interest in our theme.

Relating to the outlined questions:

1. Yes this is possible via some custom work.

2. You will just need the JetPack plugin for this. Please check into

3. Yes this is possible.

4. This depends on the backend settings you have in place. You can opt to hide the job listings from search and archive pages. You can also opt to only have the job titles displayed but the contents of the job listings will not be displayed.

Hope this answers your questions.

Hello,

Presale question: could we restrict access to resumes using count views instead of period plans? For exemple with a 10 views subscription, we can viwe only 10 resumes and no more.

Thanks

Hey there,

Relating to your question here, unfortunately that is currently not possible by default. The resume manager plugin only restricts resume views based on active packages (https://wpjobmanager.com/document/tutorial-require-an-active-job-package-to-view-resumes/).

Let me know if you have any more questions.
