1. Can you disable the “Add listing” functionality to website visitors? (Our festival runs over 7 days, but we have 200 different shows (events) for the duration of the festival. These single shows we’ll add/load ourselves so that visitors can see the entire programme and get the different information for each single show).
2. On the single event page, can you add a button to an external ticketing website and not make use of the theme defaults?
3. We want to use categories like music, theatre, dance etc… Will this work on the theme?
4. Can you have multiple dates for a single show/event?
5. What happens to an event listing once the event is done?
6. Is there any option for website visitors to “favourite” or “bookmark” different single events d then see them “grouped”? (Basically to see the events they are interested in and plan their week)...

5. Nothing happens. If you want to unpublish the event after event date passes, then you can achieve that with a code snippet we can share

1 For example, custom icons representing the brand.

You can add icons to the menu items by using shortcodes.
Get the shortcode in theme tools > shortcodes > icon.
Then in appearance > menus > edit menu item and add the shortcode just before menu item name.
By default, the icons appear in mobile menu only, if you want to enable them in desktop, add this in Custom CSS

Hello, is it possible to show different fields in the “add listing” form for a user vs a business-owner? To make it easier and quicker for a user to add a listing, but then make it possible to add more fields (like social media, for example) for a business owner, if they would like to add it. Right, but do any of the theme’s CPTs support this markup out of the box? Using the Google Structured data tool one one of the URLS for a job on the demo site, it would appear that Google doesn’t see the “job” markup, thus the job CPTs wont be included in the Google Job snippets.

The demo is not setup but you can quickly edit and add any schema code for each listing type. I have a quick question before deciding on this. Does this theme support or plan to support sub categories? E.g if we have “Education” as main category, with its icon on the hompage, once clicked, is it possible to see sub categories for Education (E,g Creche, High School, Business Schools, pre-nursery etc).all under education as sub categories with their icons or images, then if a user wants to see listing for only creche, he can click on creche sub category and see only creche listings.
Same for event listings etc.
Please let me know if this is possible.

I recently took a job to do some work and manage a website which is using MyListing Theme. I have to say that i am impressed with your work, really good theme!
I know i don’t have the right license because it’s on previous guy account but if you could help me with a problem I’m facing i would really appreciate it.
When i click any category it leads to a page without map, just a grid with listings. It used to show the standard view with filter / listings on the left and map on the right but now it’s just showing the grid.

Make sure you are using latest theme version and try going to settings > permalinks > click update.
If that does not work, you need to create a ticket and share admin login details. We need to check your site to find what’s causing this

Hi there, I have two Questions:
1. How can I “remove” the Quick Action Area from the Single Page Layout or make it invisible? If I don’t select any, the default selection of Quick Actions is displayed but I don’t want to have any of these.
2. Where can I adjust the height of the single page cover. I selected the “None” option at Cover Style but the plain background cover still has way too much height. Thanks in advance.

1.There are a few default actions that appear. To remove them, edit listing type > single page > quick actions > add “Custom action” and save changes. That should hide all of them.
Or you can just hide them via CSS

Hello I have two questions please:
1. I would like to add a checkbox on the registration form to force the user to “agree to terms and conditions”, so I’ve added “agree to terms and [privacy_policy]” on woocommerce > settings > privacy > Registration privacy policy , but I can’t see it on the registration form, it stays the same.
2. I added a shortcode block, to a listing type, with a shortcode of some comments plugin, I would like to allow the listing owner to hide this comments block in case he wants to, by adding a checkbox to the add listing form, that says “hide comments”. how can I hide this shortcode or the whole block in case the listing owner has checked the checkbox? can you please add a code example?

Using jquery, check if the contents outputted by the checkbox are visible in that block, if they are hide the parent div (block itself)

Regarding the first issue, I managed to add a checkbox to registration form, through woocomerce settings, with “agree to terms and conditions” text, and it works for regular registration. but I checked and the user can register through Facebook or google login, without checking the “agree to terms and conditions” checkbox on the registration form. Does this feature work with social login? is there a special configuration for it?

I went to woocomerce > settings > advanced, and added my terms and conditions page on the field “terms and conditions”, as a result the checkbox was added to the register form, with the text “I agree to the terms and conditions”. Now the user is not allowed to register unless he has checked this checkbox. Only issue left here is, that if the user register a social login with Facebook or goggle, he can register successfully even if he hasn’t checked this checkbox, and that’s problematic.

Thanks, I’ve added this snippet and got the same outcome: for reuglar registration, in case the user hasn’t checked the checkbox, he gets an error message that says he must check the checkbox before registration, but in case he uses social login (via Facebook login), he manages to register successfully although he hasn’t checked the checkbox.
I am told by our devs that this is not available. By registering to the site, the user is agreeing to the “Terms and conditions” of your site and also facebook terms.
You can remove the snippet above completely, and just add this text in your sign up up.
By creating an account, you agree to our terms and conditions
The terms and conditions text can link to your terms page.
So no need for a checkbox
When a user lists a place, car event, etc… he can go to dashboard and see the stats and all… but is there anyway a user can review the active or pending listings, close the listing, and change any other information on the listing?

Search page ID: If you want to not use your default explore page as results page, but some other custom page then you can input the custom ID while generating the search form shortcode. Otherwise leave it empty
