In the main.css file, DreamWeaver is giving me an error of Expetcted RBRACE at line 8357, column 55. There is no need for a right bracket there. How do I correct this? Also, How do change the place holder to the image that I want to use?

you can ignore that error. To change the placeholder image, simply replace the img src with your path to the image, e.g. src=”../images/my-image.jpg”.
P.S. Get a better code editor – vscode or sublime text

Hi, I have the video header set and it was working fine on both mobile and desktop. It has stopped working entirely on mobiles despite having full signal. The video still plays fine on desktops. Can you please advise? Thanks, Scott

if the case is of the type: “it worked before now it doesn’t” it almost always not a problem with the theme or template.
Try testing it on another wifi/4g, also this can be from an update – Apple, for example, doesn’t allow autoplay videos on mobile phones from browser.

Hi, thanks for the reply – so am I right in saying that your template doesn’t work on iphones now? Will there be an update with the template to work around this or do I need to use another template – many websites with video headers still work on iPhones.
It’s not the template, the phones are build that way also if was working before this might not be the case.

For the HTML version there is an update coming soon so I will look into this in more detail because it works on the WordPress version.
You can try adding gif replacement with media-query, also try adding this “playsinline” “autoplay” “muted” attributes to the video element or update the plugin responsible for the video bg.

Yes indeed there is a bug, here is the fix – you can add at the end of responsive.css or in your custom css file.

I am having an issue with Elements -> Features -> 50/50 layout, but only when in small form factor. When viewing with a smart phone the CTA button overlaps text, image has extra white space and text is cut off on some devices. It is doing this on your live preview site as well. Hi,
I bought a Definity-Multipage-theme. I would like to put a Youtube-video into the Lightbox. Your HelpFile said, it is included (only?) in OnePageTheme.
And I found out that it doesn’t work with ”.open-btn” in my Multipager.
Now I added

just before the end of and it worked with images. But with the link to
it did not.

Hi, since Definity-Multipage-theme has already MagnificPopup on board I’m not shure what I have to add additionally: - “Initializing popup”? - “Iframe Type” > “Iframe options”? - “Initialize script”? On what page (from the demo) did you find the video lightbox popup?
I actually did not find a video lightbox popup. I just want to find a way to add it by keeping all the theme-functionality.
This seems a little bit more complicated than adding it from scratch: because there is already MagnificPopup-code and Script on each page. I don’t know what will happen when I build my own lightbox 
Ok, so in main.js file, I had already added support for video popup, you just need to use the class .popup-video instead of .open-gallery, and follow the guide for the MagnificPopup docs how to add your video url.
It’s the YT settings, your video can’t be shown on iframe – change your settings in YT. Also, try with multiple different videos (not yours) to see if it works.
btw in Javascript I#m on a “copy&paste”level ;)

Hi, I can’t understand from your multiple comments if you had solved this. In case you did not, here is a page form the template that uses the lightbox video feature that you asking for (click the play button), you can check the markup and recreate it for your own specific case.

Hi, the problem wasn’t solved. I tried to show you that the very same video that did not run with your template …. DOES work on my old website. I tried and tested another day and found out: a script was missing in the template file, that I used: <script src=”assets/js/vendor/jquery.mb.YTPlayer.min.js”></script> Adding this helped and now my video runs like it should so far. Yes , i understand… the form does give user feedback if the fields are incorrectly entered but after the submit button is clicked the from remains static. Shouldn’t a message saying “Your message has been sent.”be displayed?

In order, the contact-form.php file to work you need live server or localhost – this is not an html file needs a server to work.
Also, you need to edit the contact-form.php file and add your email where you want to receive emails, in order the contact form to work.

I don’t think you read my comments correctly. The form WORKS, PHP is fine, it submits, The issue is with CSS and JS. There is no user feedback after submitting the form. “Your message has been sent.” is not being displayed after the submit button is clicked, however the for validation is working, can you direct me to where i need to look to fix this issue?
I read your comments fine – check the link in the previous comment, you will see a screenshot of the green alert that you are saying it is not showing – it works on my end tested on localhost.
Clearly, the problem is somewhere on your end.
The contact-form.php file is responsible for sending the email.

The contact-form.php file is responsible for sending the email. The CSS is in main.css, the JS for the contact form can be located in main.js after line 814.

Dear support, I updated our website www.u-m-j.de to the latest Wordpress version and updated all Plugins. I even installed the classic editor Plugin in order to enable the visual composer by WPBakery properly. Now when I edit a site I can see the blocks by WPBakery, but when clicking on any field like “text” or even “maps” I cannot edit the element. It only shows “vc row settings”.
What’s the problem? How can I fix it?

It should not be that hard, you will need to use CSS to make the text form right to left.
I am not familiar with RTL languages so it’s hard for me to make it work because I don’t know what correctly RTL language implementation looks like.

there is no auto-video background playback on mobile devices, but the image as a video placeholder should show up.
If the image don’t show up check your img path.

Hi, This template is very nice, however, the use of long selectors is making it near impossible to work with.
It is what it is 
There is a lot of elements, long selectors is a must, so there are no conflicts.
The template is built with SASS and the CSS is autogenerated, so it’s best if you are using the SASS files to customize it.

Google now requires to setup billing account with added payment method in order to use the Google Maps. So the problem is probably somewhere in your google maps account settings.
The template was created when Google Maps where free to use. So I can’t show you where exactly the problem is within the new account.
In the demo the map works, but now with watermark.

I solved the problem. My key wasn’t activated. Found activate-option in “Maps JavaScript API”. Generating and activating Google Maps Key seems to be terribly complicated and to me, with bad user guidance. But your template is great!
A new problem – with “clients-slider” (logo slider): When I deactivate your “script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=...” in the HTML file, the clients-slider does not work any more. How can this be?
Probably some elements expect that google maps script, so when you deactivate it, now those elements throw an error and the next script can’t be executed (which is probably the logo slider).
this problem with “clients-slider” only occurs on local browser. Online it seems to work (?)
I need to look the template to debug the problem in your case – if is online and show the error in question, I will try to help, for local errors can’t do much.
Also, the support does not cover customization(removing and editing scripts and files) because there are endless possibilities and I can’t know every problem that might occur.
Yes I understand. But your javascript string has to be removed from the HTML file because it doesn’t work anymore since Google has changed it’s API settings. From your link the template works fine, all elements load correctly – obviously if you start removing js lines, errors will show. Ignore that error if everything looks good.
In a future update I will rewrite the gmap.js file to be more compatible with the new google maps version.

Hi there,
you are using the HTML version of Defintiy, and there, every Hero/Header section has it own media queries based on the content they have as placeholder.
If you use very long words you need to write your own media queries to style the content for extra small screens. Basically in the HTML version your need to adjust everything yourself to fit your content.
