This seems to be the answer for disabling product grid zoom

however there is literally no option to switch it off in that area. Ive checked every view type, option and hover option.

Hi, the path was not correct unfortunately, it’s the product page, not grid. Try Journal > Styles > Product Page > Active Style > Product Image…

Hi, I currently have Journal2 running on Opencart 1.5.6.4. My understanding is I cannot upgrade to J3 as it is not compatible with OC1.5.6.4 Can you please direct me to the docs for Journal2, all the links I can find and in the download appear to be for J3. Many thanks

Thanks, but aren’t those the docs for J3? The links say it is compatible with OC 2 and 3 and when looking for things in them, the instructions do not seem to apply to my J2 set up/control panel For example CMS blocks in my J2, do not appear in the search box when using the docs at the links provided.

Mobile filter need a button to call for action the client to search because now it is not easy to understand that behind the slider the results all all ready done.
And one question. Can we hide the default opencart subcategories on grid view on categories.? To use journal catalog module.

You can disable the subcategories form Journal > Skins > Edit > Category…

Hey Guys! I have a multilingual website (en/fr for example). The Search on the site works with one language only. When user is on the En version the search is working with En lang only. And when a user is on the Fr version the search is working with Fr lang only.
How can I set up the search to work with both lang at the same time?
I mean, when a user on En ver of the site so the search must work not with En lang only but with En and Fr lang at the same time. If user type french words “T-shirt noir” on En ver of the site so the search must show this product.
For now if user type french words “T-shirt noir” on En ver of the site the search doesn’t show anything, just saying “there is no such product”. And it’s very bad for any user and website owner.

Hi, multi-level menus cannot be displayed in columns, however you can use mega menus with the page builder, into which you load various other modules, like Catalog, or Links Menu, which can be displayed in columns.

Hi, there are width and height options in the popup module in Journal > Modules > Popup…so you can set those up on a breakpoint rule (green plus button on the right side of the option). You apply a rule, indicate a screen width and change the option. So any screens below that width will apply the different option state. hi i figured out the popup for mobile but im not able to get my quickview on products and homepage featured to work like demo 2 see attached also i cant see where to make the features the same as demo 2 catalog page product image design..see what im talking about in image…on the left of image is the popup and on the right is the product image design…not sure how to do either of them

Not sure how you mean, can you post some screenshots?
That is the second additional image added in your product images in Opencart > Catalog > Products > Images.
Once you have at least a second image added it will show up on hover, provided this is enabled in the product grid style in Journal > Styles > Product Grid > [Active Style] > Product Image > Second Image on Hover.

Hi, the price cannot be displayed there unfortunately, but you can enable the fixed buttons at any screen width, remove the breakpoint option and make it fixed in Journal > Styles > Product Page > [Active Style] > Buttons > Display.

Hi, you can turn on lazy load from Journal > System > Settings > Performance. As for JPEG 2000 and WebP images, Opencart does not support them.

I bought the theme journal 3 and I have the Mega Filter PRO module to filter products by attributes by assigning them an image.
Is it possible to use the Journal 3 filter for attributes and assign images to the attributes to be able to select by image? Mega Filter PRO allows it but I would rather be able to filter with Journal 3 without using external modules.

This is actually already present in Demo 2, slide 2. However, this is a youtube issue. At first you see the video thumb image, then the video loads a couple of seconds later. So if you wait a bit you’d be able to click only one time to play, but if you click immediately you’ll actually click on the thumb image preview.
