hello,after i install the paypal express checkout extention,then when i chose Payment Method- paypal express checkout option and (click the fonfirm order button) ,there is no any action. but when i chose other payment option such as 2checkout,there is no any problem. so is there a bug?
Hi, one-page checkouts are not compatible with Paypal anymore. Paypal has changed its API and Opencart followed suit from version 3.0.3.1. It’s not a theme version issue, you may have updated the Opencart version. You can roll back Opencart to a version prior to 3.0.3.1
As it stands now, no one-page checkouts work with Paypal so you can either roll back Opencart to a version before 3.0.3.1 or use the default Opencart multi-step checkout.
We are monitoring this and if a solution surfaces we will of course implement it, but as it is now this is out of our hands.

in V3.03 there is no option to save the store skin as another name (duplicate) and make change. or to change header type from mega to something else. Has this changed?

That would be the entire demo then, you can export everything in Journal > System > Import/Export.
Other than that the skin only covers partial settings, the modules are something else, styles and variables separate, etc. So each one can be duplicated if needed but they work individually.

Hello, I have a question in regards to the image gallery. In Journal 2 this feature was working a little different in terms of SEO and indexing of the images in Google.
If i create an image gallery in Journal 3 then the image thumbnails refers to a resized cache version (basically the size of the thumbnail). Previously the thumbnails were referring to the original size image. Is there a way to refer the thumbnails to the original size images still? Because this has a far better results for Google indexing (large images instead of small thumbnails).
Hi, there are 3 image dimensions for each gallery item, one refers to the actual image displayed in page, one that represents the big image and another one representing the small tumbs when gallery is opened. However, this shouldn’t affect seo as all images used by Opencart are served from cache folder, resized to specific dimensions based on where the images are used.

Hello. I need some help please. On my search page the filter still shows the information from the demo site (dress size, style, occasion) etc…
when i go to the backend (layout, styles, search) i try to edit the “filter” section and it returns nothing, the page just stays grey. How can i get around this. I have spent the last week working on my website to the point it is at, and this is one of the last challenges i have.
I should mention, all the other variables (options, tags, availability) all work as they should, its literally only the filters section.

Hi team. I am considering purchasing Journal for my Opencart 3.0.3.2 installation which runs a multistore setup. There will eventually be 5 stores (for 5 different product ranges) all sharing the same database and admin area. What I want to achieve is, to have each store look different to the others but still be able to share that back end resource. A different layout for each of the stores. Different menus, different layout, different sliders etc etc. Can Journal do this? The reason I ask is that I have just spent many many hours (days actually) trying to get another theme package to work after being told by the developers that it will run in this environment only to find it does not. It had some issues sharing files between stores. I do not want not get into this problem again so this is why I am asking prior to purchasing. Regards Mike
Hi, yes multi-store support is fully supported, you can created multiple skins and assign each to a different store. Same with layouts, you can create different ones for different stores and then modules are assigned on those different layouts and will show up on those stores.
You can’t import different demos, as that overrides existing ones, but you can manually create as many as you want in the admin.
Also, the regular license only covers a single store in this case so you’d have to buy multiple regular licenses, one for each store.

How many skins can you have for selection. Every time I download a new one and import the skin, my store will not load.
Hi, we’re not sure how you mean, please share some examples. In principle importing a demo overrides the existing one so only one can be imported at a time and they don’t accumulate. However, you can manually create custom skins or modules in your admin.

Hi, it depends on the screen width, however you can add breakpoints on any such options and adjust the font size, responsive offset, etc per breakpoint. https://take.ms/J0Pmn

Hi, you can use customer login status on any menu items, modules, etc, however not on actual pages. But since pages are accessed via menu items or buttons you can in theory display those menus or modules based on customer status.

Hello there, my support is expired, but I have discovered a bug.
When I add multiple modules via the builder to Flyout Menu, with the same type, for example “Catalog Brands”, it overrides all modules instances with the same data. I would like to add modules with independent settings.
Is that behavior expected? Tried on Firefox/Chrome on macOS.
Hi, you’d just create multiple catalog modules with different sources, each different module of the same type, like Catalog is a completely different instance and can display different data, such as categories or brands.
