Is this theme compatible with elementor.
Is there space for Video Podcast
Well, actually we never tested it directly but a customer of ours said he installed it and works. What can happen is that some item from Elementor may not correctly reinitialize after ajax loading (like tbs for instance).
But the theme comes with WPBakery page builder, that does exactly the same thing , is well tested and works fine.
About videos, you can upload any video or simply paste a URL in the content to include it, but there are no special features to support video formats, as is an audio theme.
For videos I’d instead suggest you another theme, used also by some universities, super flexible and specific for vlogging

I’m sorry but what you mention is actually another type of target than the one for our product, we don’t have this type of implementation. But actually you can override it bu uploading a cutted sample as mp3 file for the podcast, and using a downloadable version for the full one with a plugin as Download Monitor that has extensions to restrict the access.

I bought this theme and originally added/activated it on: gambitbroadcasting.com
However, I have today deactivated the theme and item purchase code on https://www.gambitbroadcasting.com and installed the theme on cachedoutpod.com and activated it there with the Item Purchase code.
On cachedoutpod.com I enter the item purchase code and I get the message: Congratulations! Your purchase code was correctly verified!
However – the theme still says I need to activate it and won’t let me download the plugins or the demo.

Hello and thanks for contacting us. 1) You can’t use the same code on multiple sites. Your site where you actived the theme ( https://imgur.com/a/rCik1xW ) is still on and running. To change domain your previously active site needs to stop using the theme for at least 2 days. You have to completely delete the theme and our plugins form the server.
2) Your deactivation is local, we need to clear and free your purchase code in our database in order for you to use it again. This is indeed to prevent what you are now trying to do, of using the theme on a site which is active and to recycle the same code on another site.
So, you get a positive message upon activation because the code IS valid, but we do not provide the activation code for the site because your license is being already used.
WHAT TO DO: 1) Delete the theme and all f the plugins from https://imgur.com/a/rCik1xW
2) Send an email to support@qantumthemes.com with your purchase code, old domain and new domain
3) After 2 days we can clear your purchase code status and you can reuse it.
Please note that envato license covers 1 website installation a time, and what you are trying to do is not allowed by the license. So, please just follow the procedure to change the domain and have the theme active on the new one.

I’m sorry sir but themeforest doens’t provide to authors a way to provide single discounts. We have customers who purchased all of out themes and plugins and also many licenses for each and god knows if we wanted to provide them some advantage but unfortunately we don’t have such tools… sorry

Ok, i was almost sure that i choose yours theme for my new versions of page, but pagespeed and gtmetrix shows that this theme is slow. Do you think about optimization?
Did you compare it with the other themes with similar features? Our theme is actually the fastest of the market. Of course if you compare it with the twentynineteen is heavier, is like comparing a Ford mustang with a 1982 Ape Car 
You can reach A grade rank on gtmetrix is just a matter of compressing the pictures more and making smaller pages as the size of the images is what breaks page speed the most, and length of the page is the second parameter, but we have to use super hi quality and all features in a page for the demo.
Hi there, I love the features on the theme. Just wanted to ask a couple of questions before I buy -
1. I find the fonts a bit small – is there a way to increase font size and make things bigger without messing up the layout?
2. The area that everything is boxed into – can that box be made bigger so it occupies larger area of the screen? And then is it responsive so it can fit on smaller screens too?
3. Can I add videos too that play directly in the post? Like the audio plays. I don’t want it to open another page to play the vidoes.
4. Are the podcasts on the theme self hosted or embedded from somewhere?

Hi! 1) depends which areas you mean, generally is not a big issue, but consider that the support doesn’t cover this customization, meaning you have to deal with some cash and handle any possible misalignment resulting from this.
2) this is made to fit good in every occasion. You can change this size easily but I’m unaware of any subsequent issue it can cause. Also, sorry, not part of the support too.
3) yes you can paste a video url and WordPress will embed it
4) self hosted or hosted on any external repository, you can also import them from any external podcast feed.

I have a multi podcasters with individual feed…. we can import this content from rss and we can create individual feed with this template?
Hi! 1) Yes you can import the feed using PowerPress 2) You can set each rss feed to be imported under a certain category or serie, that’s a matter of configuration. Basically you create an import “protocol” for each feed. So you set the RSS url, the post type, the taxonomy and the term yoou want to use (better explained in our documentation). Then you just run the procedure. You can add unlimited channels to import.

Hi – I’m reviewing your documentation to see if this theme is a good fit for our podcast site. So far it looks like it is, but before I buy I have a couple of questions about Seriously Simple Podcasting integration.
1. It looks like your integration means that any podcast episode I create in SSP will show on the theme as a ‘podcast’, as long as the post type is ‘Post’? I can see how I would change all of my existing posts (which have the type ‘podcast’) using a plugin – but I can’t see anywhere in the SSP plugin to set it to force the podcast to have the type Post? Your documentation implies their is a setting, but I cant see it?
2. The documentation suggests that the series’ I have in SSP will be able to show as the nice ‘playlist’ cards you have in your theme if I change the taxonomy to ‘qt serie’ – I can’t see anywhere in SSP configuration to do this? This would be a really nice feature if that was integrated.
I’ve had issues with another theme that listed SSP as ‘supported’ but required so much extra effort with each post it has caused lots of problems. From the documentation it sounds like you have much better integration – I just want to be sure before I buy the theme.

Hi! 1) Yes wpCast uses Post. You can use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/
Then, in the SSP, change the setting to add new podcasts as posts and use the category taxonomy.
2) Series are a parallel taxonmy that works together with categories but is not categories. I don’t know how many podcasts you have, but you may eventually use automated or manual permutation procedures in order to use the Series feature.
This is only required if you want to make Series cards.
If you don’t have thousands of podcasts, the simplest way is to first make the Series terms and then, from the post list, select the ones of each serie and add them to the serie with the bulk edit. In this way you can assign podcasts to series in a few seconds, even if they are hundreds.
Otherwise if you wanna turn categories into series, it’s easier to transform the categories into series.

In my opinion, taking your contents and turning them in the wpCast shape is a matter of about a half hour of work. If you have 10 thousands podcasts probably you’ll need more time and go for automated procedures, but still not a day of work.
I suggest anyway to take a good abckup before proceeding, maybe with cpanel or similar, top restore it quickly if you have mistakes in the transmigration procedure.

2) That all makes sense, thank you. Sounds very easy. Once I switch to wpcast – will all new series I create in SSP automatically appear as Series cards, or will I have to follow this process every time?

Hi! In the podcasts you can set any download link you want, so, using a plugin like Easy Digital Download, you can link to a download page where you manage the access separately and however you like
That’s already there, but one wont be able to preview or view the partial audio with the EDD plugin. they will have to buy it and then only will get an option to play the podcast.

Hello and thanks for your question, it actually gives me the chance to explain a fundamental functionality for every podcaster.
The most important public for a podcaster are subscribers. This is what every podcaster should aim at: increasing the amount of peaple that you can reach with every new podcast.
This is why we put so much effort in providing the best support with the theme to increase your feed subscribers.
Regular listeners always use feed readers. A feed reader can be installed as a browser plugin, or as a phone app, or as stand-alone desktop software.
Once you have a reader installed, it will 99% intercept the feed links from a podcast, and automatically alert the listener once a new content is available, which spikes your listeners when you publish a podcast.

hello Giant Karlik, and thanks for your very interesting question. I’m glad to say the theme is fully integrated with PowerPress.
Once you import the episodes from another feed, the theme will automatically convert the powerpress player into the theme’s built-in player. You also ahve an option in the customizer to hide the PowerPress player, avoiding the duplicated player in the page.
This is optional as some users may want to use the PowerPress player instead of the theme’s. But this is totally your choice.

“Podcast RSS feed must include a podcast title, an author and an email. Please update your RSS feed to continue.” We are seeing this error when I try to publish podcast to Google Podcast. And we are not using any external plugin for podcast, just using the wpcast theme settings and posts. suggestions please ?
Hello, I just say this sounds strange as you can see that we have the demo podcasts from wpcast on Google podcast without changing anything nor using plugins.
Also, we didn’t need to ask manually for the publishing, it was found and listed by Google podcast automatically. But you can install the compatible plugin PowerPress, it will add my required custom field and allows a granular level of control over the feed settings.
Thanks. My bad, our shows were already available in Google Podcast, I hadn’t searched for our site in the Google podcast app. But now Apple podcast doesn’t show our podcast. So that means we have to manually submit it to Apple podcast ?
Yes, you have to submit it manually to itunes. And for iTunes (now apple podcast) i strongly recommend PowerPress in order to perfectly craft your pdocast appearance, logo, titles, and any other tiny requirement.
