i have install theme but i don’t know how i edit homepage?

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in.

In reference to your query here, we use widgets in our themes to build pages, for example, the home page, job listing pages are controlled by custom widget areas and design elements can be arranged in any way you wish. You will therefore need to navigate to the Appearance>Widgets>HomePage to have a view of the various widgets rendering the content.

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to reach out once again in case of any questions.

I am interested in the look of this theme. Does this theme support the types of data jobs Google posts?

Especially this: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/job-posting

Hey there,

In reference to your question here, Yes! Structured Data is included when Job Listings are created in order for Job Listings to get indexed!. Our theme uses the same data schema as the Wp Job Manager plugin. WP Job Manager will automatically include structured data about your job listings on every individual job listing page. This helps Google and other search engines understand certain information about your jobs. I would also suggest on checking into this article for more details.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Is it fairly simple to connect this to my database via the wp dashboard?

Hey there,

In relation to your question here, WordPress uses MySQL as its database management system, therefore any site running in WordPress will be connected to a database irrespective of the theme in place. Database connection takes place in the WordPress installation phase.

I hope this answers your question. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Is this theme supports the scheme for the job, one of the site which uses the structure data. here is the reference for Job posting https://allgovernmentjobs.in/latest-government-jobs that they have implemented neatly.. is this available in it.

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in.

Relating to your inquiry here, I’m afraid all those data snippets used within that link will not be available. Our theme uses the same data schema as the Wp Job Manager plugin. The plugin creates Structured Data out of the box. WP Job Manager can only use whatever information you submit about a job as the information shown to Google in the structured data. I would also suggest on checking into this article.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Connecting people using Jobify couldn’t be any easier:

A company submits a job listing with details about the position and their company.

A prospective employee visits the site, searches the interactive map, filters the results, and applies for the job of their dreams.

... After the previous step can the company hire a candidate / approve the application?

In short, can the hire be made completely through the website.

Hey there,

Thanks for showing interest in the theme.

In reference to your question here, Jobify by itself does not provide a hiring feature after job application. The hiring is solely by the employer. However, using the Applications plugin, employers are in a position to view and manage the applications on their job dashboard. They can select the ’ Hired ’ Option for Candidates. Here is an article on this: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/applications/#section-7

I hope this helps.

Hey there,

Thanks for showing interest in our theme.

In relation to the outlined questions:

1. Unfortunately this is not possible by default.

2. Using the Wc Paid Listings addon, you can create both job and resume packages. The resume packages will apply to candidates and the job packages to employers.

3. You can completely customize the submission fields using the WP Job Manager field editor plugin

4. By default the video field will be associated with the job listing and is meant to serve as a short video about the company. You may check out the field here: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/post-a-job/. If you also wish to add an additional video field about the employer, you can still have this accomplished using the WP Job Manager field Editor plugin.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to reach out once again in case of any questions.

Does it support wordpress multisites? also is it possible to import or install over a wordpress which has Jobmoster theme? which is not based on wpmanager

Hey there,

Thanks for showing interest in our theme.

In respect to your questions here, yes the theme supports multisites. Unfortunately, you can only use it in an environment with Wp Job Manager in place, therefore it would not be suitable for listings not powered by WP Job Manager.

Please let us know if you have any more questions.

When buying a template at a price 69 Dollars Companies can pay money Versus publishing their jobs

I do not seem to see “upload resume” option, among others. Is it something that you could turn on and off?

Hey there,

In respect to your question here, you will need the Resume Manager plugin to be in a position to upload resumes. Within the plugins’ Resumes>Settings section, you will then need to enable the resume upload option.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. But I have to ask a silly question. If I need to transform this theme to something that looks like indeed in terms of functionality ( and somewhat look too), what would be the price estimate including plugin fee and customization fee? Thanks

Hey there,

Thanks for keeping in touch.

In reference to your question here, unfortunately I may not be in a position to provide a price estimate to this as we currently don’t offer custom work services right now. However, we are partnered with and highly recommend Envato Studio or Codeable If you need help customizing your theme

Thanks for your understanding.

Hello. I am looking at different job board themes & wondered if Jobify offers a good solution to creating various category pages, for example 1. a job category directory (a page with all job categories link) 2. a page with list of locations where specific category of jobs exist 3. a page with list of categories which can be found in a specific location

Thank you!

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out.

In respect to the outlined questions, I’m afraid the theme does not provide an archive page for job categories or locations. What would be possible to render are the jobs within a location or a category, using the WP Job Manager shortcodes.

I hope this answers your questions.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hi Jobify, As we undergo our web development and prep for launch, we would like to ask you a few questions. If we develop features, can we integrate that original code into our Jobify template? I.E. we make a new profile, or we developed a new tab, how can we have that all integrated? Thank you!

Hello! I like your theme design but I have a bunch of concerns before go.

1) Demo sites (classic and extended) look broken I can not sign up and test the whole thing properly

2) Is there a way to display suggestions based on a predefined list of cities in the location form? A simple database (ajax) query that search and match a term while typing a location (Google Maps location is too long and difficult to match)

3) You have already answered this question but if we disable map on advanced search page, does this affect other page’s function or it will only hide Google Map?

4) Is your theme 100% working and tested with WP Job manager plugins you advertised? You do not publish updates since July

5) Do you provide a featuring system where users can set a sponsored listing by themeselfs after paying? Or at least a payment page during job/resume creation

6) You should include a widget for latest jobs/resume/companies added to put on homepage or sidebar

Thank you!

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out.

In relation to the outlined questions:

1. Sorry, we’ll actually look into this issue.

2. Unfortunately the suggestion feature is currently not supported. What you can perhaps do as an alternative to locations, is instead use Regions. For this, you will need the Regions for WP Job Manager plugin.

3. If you are referring to the Job Listings page, then only the map will be hidden within the page.

4. Yes, the theme is compatible with the Wp Job Manager plugins advertised alongside it.

5. Please check into this article on how to monetize featuring a listing.

6. Thanks for providing this suggestion.
