I wonder if you would recommend a classifieds plugin that could well integrate with this theme. In my mind, a Directory must have fully functional customizable ads and/or classifieds feature or a likewise classifieds portal should have its own directory. I have not been able to find this so far.

In respect your question here, out of the box, Listify is a directory theme so you will need to do some custom work in order to make it work like a classifieds website, not really a plugin. Of course, this also depends on the details of exactly how you would like to make your classifieds website as there are several similarities between a classifieds website and a directory website.

Hello! Tried contacting you on email but haven’t got a reply, so I’ll try here.
1. Do you support OpenStreetMaps? If so, would that be entirely free to use regardless of how many visitors I have unlike Google Maps?
2. On the listing pages, can I display the map instead of an image? What alternatives do you have for headers on listing pages?
Since many businesses don’t have quality pictures of their locales it would be really helpful if I could display a map or no header at all on the listings page to improve user experience.
3. I understand that I have to buy extra plugins to get full functionality, but in the beginning I will only have a simple directory that displays businesses. So I won’t need any booking, payment or subscription system to begin with. The only thing I want is that visitors must be able to use the contact form to contact the business to their email, a comment and review system, opening hours and amenities. Does the theme have that out of the box or do I still need to buy additional plugins?
4. Do support 24h format in opening hours widget?
5. Since I will be adding all businesses myself I really don’t need to show any profile of the person that added the listing on the listing page or on the cards in the search or featured list. Can I disable that?
6. On the cards on the result lists can I choose what information is shown about the business? On your demo the name, address and telephone number is displayed by default. Is that customizable?
7. Can I add my own listing types with custom sub listing types and custom elements. Like for example if I wanted to add a listing type like “Spa & Wellness”, can I add that with custom features like, sauna, swimming pool etc?
8. When a visitor wants to contact a listing via the contact form, does the message go directly to their email or do the business owner have to login to my site to see the message?
9. Can I add custom review elements? For example, cant I add review elements so that users can rate the price, cleanliness, personnel and hospitality?
10. What alternatives are there for the home page? Can I display a map instead of an image behind the search form?
11. What widgets are available on the listing pages? If I wanted to display special deals or events that one business offers, is that possible to add to the listing pages sidebar?
12. If I later find out that I’m not satisfied with the theme, what refund policy do you offer?
13. Do you have a demo of the wordpress admin area? That would be really helpful to determine if this theme is right for me. Do you have any other demos or examples of the theme that I can look at other than the classic and rental ones?

In relation to the outlined questions:
1. Sorry, not at the moment. There is no option to allow this. Our theme uses Google Maps out of the box.
2. This is also not currently possible on listing pages page headers. You can only have a featured image or a gallery slideshow.
3. You don’t need to buy any plugins for that. The review functionality is provided by the Reviews plugin of which is free.
4. Yes it’s supported. The hours of operation follow the same time format as your WordPress installation.
5. Yes you can remove the profile section on the widget.
6. It is possible to alter this, but it would entail some custom work.
7. You can have both listing types and sub-listing types.
8. The message goes to the listing owner email.
9. What you can do is have those as custom review categories, of which can be added within the review settings.

11. Unfortunately Listify does not incorporate an Events widget at the moment.
12. As for refunds have a look at Envatos Refund Policy
13. Unfortunately we currently do not have backend demos. You can only see the front-end of our demos. You can test the demo through the frontend by submitting listings, and view the user profile dashboard, but there is no access to the admin panel.

In reference to your question here, there is actually an option to have the map be displayed on the front-page, within the hero section, but not in fullscreen. Hello there, I wanted to use the Events Calendar plugin from Modern Tribe and found out that it does not work. I read some old comments from 4 years ago that there was an Event plugin in the works. Can you please clarify why it is incompatible? Is the Listify theme deliberately outputting all the information in the main calendar page from the Events Calendar plugin as plain text? I can see all of it in a “p” tag.
Is this because you are/were planning to release your own Events/Calendar plugin as an add-on?
We definitely need events calendar functionality. Please release your events plugin or give us an option to use another one.

In relation to your question here, unfortunately, the Listify theme does not support Events Calendar, at this time. We haven’t added integrations of the plugin to the theme or else made the plugin compatible with the theme. We are however working on an Events-based theme ( Eventify ).
I think it would also be great to have some compatibility with an events calendar addon. We’re currently not working on this specifically in the forthcoming theme release. I’ll however pitch it to the team once again and see what they think.

Yes this is possible from the backend for site admins.
3. Daily monthly and yearly reports of schools and payment of users.
I’m not quite certain on the nature of reports in reference here. However, using the WP Job Manager – Stats plugin, you can now enable the listing owners to view their listings stats. For more information on how to setup the WP Job Manager – Stats plugin, please visit the WP Job Manager – Stats Docs. With the help of the WooCommerce Product Vendors plugin, you can also use a WooCommerce Vendors shortcode that will display a table showing all the sales and earnings made by the vendor or listing owner that is currently logged in. Here is also an article on this.

Sorry, unfortunately, there is no front-end functionality provided to limit which schools add listings or else are added.

Unfortunately no portal is provided in either of these cases by default. What will be present is a page where users can have a view of all their school listings.
As for social login/registration, as indicated in 1 above, this is added by the WooCommerce Social Login plugin. Please note that there is no social registration functionality.
As for reports, as indicated in point 3 above, if the users submitting the school listings or else the listing owners are registered as vendors, then they can have a view of sales and earnings made by from the limited WordPress dashboard.
In respect to how many users are in the school, what you can do is add an additional field to the listing submission form that will hold this data. Here is an article on how to go about this.
About enquiries, I’m afraid this is not a functionality provided by the theme. I’m also not quite certain on what you mean by “and payments get with reports”. However, the theme does not provide an enquiry system to generate reports.

There is no user portal provided by default. As for inquiries on schools, you can use a contact form linked with the listing owner for this. Here is an article on this.
Using the Wp Job Manager Reviews plugin, users can review the schools. About school fee payments. the only possible way to implement this would be to use the WooCommerce plugin to create some products. Vendors can actually have this carried out as well. Once this is done, using the WP Job manager Products plugin, they can link the product to the listing. On the single listing sidebar, you can then add a products widget to render the product within the associated listing. Users can then purchase the product. Here is an article on this.
As for customizations, unfortunately, we don’t offer custom work right now or provide consulting on how to customize your theme. However, we are partnered with and highly recommend WP Curve, Envato Studio or Codeable if you need help customizing your website.

Updated to Listify 2.11.0 and wp Job Manager 1.33.5 and now i am unable to provide phone number, social profiles and working hours when i add new listings. Why are the fields gone? They are essential to directory listings!

Just curious as I like the radius search and map features on listify, is it possible to have all the jobify functionality in the listify theme? Or should one purchase jobify if its more a jobs site. Is there a feature where service finder can contact service provider directly on his whatsapp number. I know a plugin that does that for simple sites and e-commerce sites but I dont how will it work with listings site. Awaiting your response. Hope you have a solution.

Relating to your question here, unfortunately we do not have an integrated Whatsapp platform between service finders and providers. You can however have a Whatsapp integration to your site using a plugin of your choice, but this will not be limited to service providers and service finders, neither will there be an integration between these two.
Nonetheless, you can implement a messaging system between services providers and service finders using our Private Messages addon.

John, What is going on with Asthoundify? It’s the third time in 2019 that your salespage says there is an update, but in reality, there are none!I don’t see this happening with other Themes.
And last May,the most recent update, you wrote: Sorry for the recent lack of updates, we will resume regular updates from now on and also start introducing up to date features. But we are not seing this at all!
I do have some concerns about the lack of regular updates. And the most recent update (May) was almost all fixes, and only 1 “new”.
At some point in the past, Listify was leading the pack with new features, but lately, we see that most innovations are coming from new Directory Themes, also available on ThemeForest. I’ve been paying regular support renewals many times, and I have no problem to keep paying, if the product is getting regular updates!

We are working on updates to Listify and associated plugins, currently prioritizing features and bug fixes.
In terms of why does the sales page get updated to say the theme was updated, well any time I change and image or change the title of the theme on ThemeForest it updates that also, so blame Envato for making a system where if you are just updating data on the theme listing it changes the “Last Update” date also. Super annoying!

Hi, I have a couple of questions before I purchase the theme to make a barber market place.
When I buy the following plugins along with theme .. -Woocommerce booking -Woocommerce listing -Woocommerce product vendor -Listify package -Paid listing
- my business model will be subscription model and I wont take any commissions.
will I be able to do the following ?
1- lets say each barber shop have more than one barber, they will list them all and customer will be able to book by name by hour right ? .. what if the customer don’t mind which person and he is interested in the barber shop itself wil he be able to book by the barber shop not by the person ?
2- how will be the barber shop managing their lists ? I mean is it a wordpress back end or an easy interface page ?
3- I want the booking to be confirmed after the barber shop confirm, is it possible ?
4- if possible that the booking is confirmed only after the barber confirm,, how will the barber shop receive a notification that there is a pending booking ? as it is a website not an app so this point is concerning me
5- is there sms notifications ?
6- Listify is supoporting RTL. where is the translation page so that I can help in translating my language
7- do you have an existing clients who turned listify into APP ?

Relating to your questions here:
1. Unfortunately Listify is designed as a Directory theme, not to be a Marketplace theme. At least it does not have ALL the components to be a complete marketplace. Based on your question here, what would be possible is to have the barbers as the listings. The barber shop can then be the listing owner, or else serve as the person submitting the listing.
2. Based on the suggested approach in 1 above, listing owners or else barber shops will have a page where they can have a view of the barbers and they are in a position to edit various barber details.
3&4 Unfortunately this would not be possible.
5. As it currently stands, unfortunately there is currently no sms notification in place.
6. Please check out this article for this information.
7. Yes we’ve come across a few who have been in a position to carry this out but we may not be in a position to specifically point these out as it currently stands.
8.Yes you can have different booking options but bookings can only be administered on the listings.

I would like to create a sports club site and link the club with the coaches, so someone could look at listing for club and be able to see info about coaches…both of which could have reviews…

In reference to your question here, what would be possible is to have the coaches submit the clubs or else have the coaches as the club owners. Users can then have a view of the clubs details. As for the coaches, users would be in a position to view the club associated with the coach. In terms of reviews, unfortunately this would only be possible to the clubs.
