How do I remove the “Float” logo from the homepage.
You can upload your own logo or use plain text as a logo. Take a look at Appearance > Theme Options.

@myTheme: if you add the icons to the next version – can you add this as an option? I dont miss these icons …
Another thought: the theme looks perfect on desctop, and it looks also perfect on the iPhone. But when I see it on the new Retina iPad I think, the content and the sidebar can be more broadly – the view is to small.
What do you think about?

Yeah, all the icons are available as option. You can set the icons and links as you wish in the options panel
It is possible to modify the media queries for tablets. I will take a look at it.
By the way, I have submitted new version already. There was a minor issue with the validation in the contact page. If you need the updated version immediately, let me know and I’ll send you some email

New version is now available. WordPress had a 12 hour default refresh for fetched feeds. In the new version it is changed to 30min
