Hi,
I like this theme enormously. But before any purchase, I would like to know is what Visual Composer is compatible with this theme.
Thank
Hello lionelfwi,
Thank you for kind comment and browsing the theme. It is compatible with WPBakery, but the ready made layouts which you see on live demo are created using Elementor plugin.
If you are using WPBakery, such layouts can be created using the WPB version of my WP Post Modules Plugin. However, the result may not be 100% same as what you are seeing on live demo. Let me know if you have more questions. I would be glad to respond.

hi, whats the difference between this theme and them available in Envato elements please?
Salam hdraye,
If you download the the theme from Elements, support is not included. But if purchased from themeforest, you get 6 months free support. You can also extend support with paid packages.

Hello, is it possible to import the demo to make it look just like you have it here?
I would like tou customize the content of the posts but I like the layout and everything just like you created here: https://intothedesign.com/demos/wppm-el/category/entertainment/
I am not able to make it look like this….
Thank you
Hello Lukas,
Yes, it is possible to create pages similar to the demo by importing the dummy XML data. The data is included with the theme download.
The category/archive layout can be chosen from Theme Options. The default layout is list style which can be changed to “Mix” style, as shown in the link you’ve sent.
Regards
Thanks for quick reply. I tried to import demo xml data but there are no images, etc, so it really doesn’t look good… Any ideas what could be wrong?
While importing the data you need to enable the checkbox for importing file attachments as well. This is for the posts XML data. For Home page layouts you would import the JSON file in Elementor Page Builder.
Regards
I did that, but looks like it doesnt work. No images, etc. imported. Only posts without images and/or attachments. No idea why.
Hello,
In that case, delete all posts and re import the XML file again. If you are importing on localhost machine, make sure internet connection is on.

Hello S. Tebeje,

Hi. My website is really very slow. This is a very bad situation. I want help www.parakademi.com
All my images have been optimized. However, the first opening takes 4-5 seconds. My page transitions are also very slow.
Hello farukozgursoy,
Thank you for purchasing the theme. I just analyzed your site’s performance on GTMetrix. The results are 92% score for PageSpeedand 77% for YSlow, which is fairly good. The main reason for slow speed is some JavaScript files loading at the beginning. These include jQuery and Elementor JS files (which are needed initially).
Since these files can not be avoided, I would recommend using a minify plugin which will merge all these JS files in a single cached file. This will further improve load performance. Let me know if you have any questions. You can also email me directly at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com.

Please how can i do like your demo page? When i install and add articles, they are basic with page numeration. Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you for purchasing the theme. Upon first installation, your site will show default blog posts on an archive page. In order to create pages like in the demo, please check this step-by-step guide: https://intothedesign.com/docs/qalam/index.html#import_content . Follow instructions as decribed in that page. If you find any difficulty, you can email me directly at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com.

Hi saurab,i have checked your portfolio, you have done a wonderful job.I would like to purchase your Qalam magazine theme but it is not fullscreen please can you make it fullscreen…......Thanks in anticipation.
Hello Khayradar,
Thank you for the feedback and kind words. The theme supports fullscreen pages via Elementor. i.e. you can choose “ElementorCanvas” page template and create content in full width. The limitation is that the Header, Sidebar and Footer needs to be created manually. Those will not be auto populated.
Regards
how about using page templator for elementor,i learn that it makes pages full width…..Thanks
Yes that is what I have mentioned. You can use Elementor Page Builder’s full width page template (named as Elementor Canvas). In that you would not be able to see header footer and sidebars. You need to create those sections manually.

Hello. I just checked our website with an resolution of 1024×1366 (IpadPro) and realized that the menu is missing within this resolution. Can you fix that??
Thank you
Hello,
Kindly send me the site URL please. The menu is repalced by the hamburger icon on 1024px and lower resolution. I can confirm that after checking your site.
Regards
just check www.prognost.com
Hello,
Yes there is a CSS media query problem. The menu is set to hide at 1024px, whereas it should hide lower than 1024px. i.e. 1023px and below. I will submit an update for this fix.

Hello, may i ask you if it is possible to change the default font ?? maybe to some google font or something else. What i have to do ?? Thank you very much.
Hello,
Yes it is possible. Kindly navigate to WordPress admin’s Appearance > Customize > Typography. In this section you can choose fonts for body text, headings, site title, navigation, etc.
If you want to change fonts for individual post modules, you can do so by editing any module in Elementor and then changing the font from Style tab of module settings.

Is the theme going to be optimized for Gutenberg to enable the use of blocks?
Hell C-Y-B-E-R,
Thank you for browsing the theme. Sorry, the theme is based on Elementor page builder. Gutenberg is also supported, but only for native blocks. You can not use Post blocks which are designed for use with Elementor.

Hİ. I have a problem. 4 posts in category. I can’t see someone in the right area. I can see when I increase the number of left fields https://www.imageupload.net/image/6Febk https://www.imageupload.net/image/6Fa1O
I solved by reducing the number of offset. Thanks
No problem. Do let me know if you find any further difficulty. I would be glad to respond

Hi. I have a 2 problems. Images not showing after installing WP Smush plugin. Any plugin is blocking it. I only use total cache and yoast seo as an extra. Everything gets better when you disable smush. Do you know anything about this topic? And the theme opens very slowly. Image optimizations complete. There are only 30 pictures and 20 post. each picture under 100kb pictures.
Hello,
Kindly send me the URL of page on which images are not showing. I will check the issue.
Regarding WP Smush, the theme already has image resize option, and you can also control the quality number (0 to 100%) in Elementor for each post module. You can make use of this feature instead of WP Smush.
Regards
Hi. I solved smush problem. Lazy Load plugin must be disabled. It’s fine now. But web site opening speed really bad. How can i solve this problem. My website www.parakademi.com
Hello,
I just analyzed the site on GTMetrix. See https://gtmetrix.com/reports/parakademi.com/2OHpzHU4
As you can see, the main cause of slow speed is larger image size. Edit each module of Home page and assign lesser image size. Say, 300px or 400px. Also enable either BFI thumb (for on-the-fly resize), or use the OTF Regenerate Thumbnails plugin so that new sizes can be generated. Reducing and serving scaled images will improve the performance.
Regards
What should be the maximum image size post page? I use 600×540. I think there are picture errors related to the thumbnails on the homepage. i don’t know how to fix. Thanks for reply
Hello,
The ideal image size should be 100% of it’s container/viewport. i.e. The source image size and what you see on desktop shall be same. For example, you see 300px image in browser, but the source image is 600px, then it is considered non optimized. In that case, 400px or 300px image will be ideal. Since on mobile, image viewport may enlarge again, so we prefer an intermediate size.
If you are not sure what sizes to choose, kindly send me your site URL and login details at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com. I will optimize the Home page.

Hello! I bought the theme and i supposed that was the full version of the elemenator builder and not the demo!
Hello JAYDI70,
Thank you for purchasing the theme. The demos packed in this theme are compatible with both FREE and PRO version of Elementor. The Elementor plugin is not bundled in the theme. You can download it for free using the dashboard link which prompts to install requird/recommended plugins. Do let me know if the query is different than what I understood. I would be glad to respond.
Regards
Ok i understand. I have some other questions… is it possible to use the background of the site for advertisments?
Hello,
Sorry that feature is not available in the theme yet. You can use PRO plugins like WP Background Takeover or Advanced Ads. I searched for free alternatives but could not find one.
Regards
Thank you for your reply… one more question is when i have in boxed version my site header is not…. how can i make header boxed too?
Hello,
The site header also gets boxed when layout is set to boxed. Only the top bar is streteched. Can you send me your site URL please. I will check what is wrong.
Regards
Ok i found what you say! Something else now …. Lets say that i have a post that it belongs in more than one categories or tags and in my front page i have post blocks from these categories or tags, how can i set that the post is not going to show up in more than one positions in my front page?
Hello,
In order to hide a particular post (or posts) in module, edit the module in Elementor and navigate to the Query tab > Exclude these Post/Page IDs. Then provide numeric post ID of the post which you want to exclude. For multiple posts use comma separated values. E.g. 34,122, 156. The post ID can be found by hovering on the post title in WordPress admin’s Posts > All Posts. Upon hiver, you will see a target link in bottom left corner of the status bar in browser. It contains numeric ID of the post, as shown below:
/wp-admin/post.php?post=692&action=edit
The post=xx shows numeric post ID which you can use to exclude a post in module.
Regards
I want this to be automated because the posts will be uploaded in real time.
In that case you can skip the posts in a pre-defined order using the offset parameter. For example, there are 3 modules in a page—A, B and C. If module A has 5 posts in it, you can permanently omit these 5 posts from set B by using offset as 5. (Offset can be found in Query tab). But if you want to exclude selected posts, then ID must be provided.
Regards
I think that you didn’t understand what i said. Let’s say that we have 2 Categories modules in the frontpage and a post is checked to both of these categories. I want to be visible in only one module in my frontpage and not in both modules.
Also there is a problem to change fonts. There is no response when i disable the themes default fonts. And the archives pages doesn’t show sidebars.
Hello,
As I described earlier, currently there are only two ways to prevent post duplication — offset or exclude post IDs. I have clearly understood your requirement, and for that there is a different approach. In that case the query result is compared against all previous results to see if a post is not appeared again. That is highly server resource consuming, and also not yet developed in the WP Post Modules plugin and this theme yet.
For the fonts, the customizer has option to “Use theme’s default fonts” not disable default font. You can override default font by choosing another font for body text. Do you mean the setting of body text is not working? If so, kindly send me your site URL and login at xconsau[at]gmail[dot]com, along with the name of font to be used on body. I will apply it.
P.S. If using any caching plugins, make sure to purge caches after making changes.

Hello do you plan to add social media links in the footer area as predefined parts.
Hello,
Footer area is widget ready. You can use any social widget plugin to place widgets in that. If you do not intend to use a third party plugin, I will add Customizer option for social links. But that would be placed below footer widget area, and center aligned.
Regards
Hello I want to know if it is possible to disable the posted by information (name date update) thank you very much for a short answer. Greetings
Hello PROGNOST,
Currently, the option for hiding post meta is for archives. You can access that inside WordPress admin’s Appearance > Customize > Archives > Post meta in archives. Turn off this option and click on Save and Publish button.
If you want to hide it for single posts, kindly let me know. I will suggest appropriate CSS. I am also adding this option for hiding post meta for single posts in next update.
Regards
Next update is fine thank you
Interested in Your Theme And Theme Is Awesome, But lacks lots of customization option and Features. - Ads Placement - Auto Load Next Post - Single Post Customization - Any Many More like Other Themes iN Themeforest (Publisher theme)
Hello ChhotaBheem,
Thank you for browsing. The theme has ad placement features. It has global and inline widget areas for single post where you can place ads from any service. The post module has auto ads feature where you can place ads after every n number of posts (in case of post module archive).
Single post has 3 layout styles with social sharing, author bio, floating (sticky) next/previous post navigation, and more. (Details in description).
I can not say it is loaded with tons of customization options, as I have envisioned this theme to be light weight, robust and straight-forward. It does only what it is meant for. It is not jack-of-all-trades theme. But for magazine, it will do what is needed for a standard, fast loading magazine site.
P.S. I still have customers of my NewsPlus theme who preffered the theme over popular themes only because of it’s simple and fast loading structure. The number of such customers is very less, as it is a matter of personal choice. Most will prefer a theme where everything can be changed from theme options, widgets, etc. This theme is a balanced mix of options and light-weight structure. I appreciate your kind words and feedback on the theme though.
Regards
