I wanted to share some code in-case anyone ran into an issue with pricing like I did. Maybe the author can update Eagle Booking to include custom pricing. My issue was that we charge a room fee of $2000 then each guest is an extra $600 per night (example numbers). There was no way to do this in Eagle Booking. If the room was $2000 per night, it would make it $4000 for 2 guests and 8,000 for 2 guests and 2 nights. I updated the pricing code to allow for a scenario that has room rate + extra rate per guest. This could easily be incorporated into Eagle Booking by creating an additional pricing option that is “per guest / per night value”. Sadly I had to do this twice as I accidentally updated Eagle booking without saving my changes outside of WordPress.
Would the author consider adding this pricing option? It would be room rate + price per guest per night.
Here is where I edited the code in the “templates/booking/details.php” file (I had to hard code the price per guest per night, this would ideally be part of the room price variables).

first of all, thank you for your suggestions and for the code.
Yes we have a plan to implement such an option in the future but first, we have to make sure that will not break the existing functionalities like Exceptions. In your example, I don’t know what should be the impact of the exception (seasonal pricing) over the extra guest price. This is a bit complicated but for sure we are open to suggestions and we will try to implement them in the future.
About the Eagle Booking update, I suggest you to override the file inside your Child Theme as is described here https://docs.eagle-booking.com/kb/how-to-override-templates/ This is not stable yet as the files structure may be changed in the future but is something that it will help you to update the plugin without losing your modifications.

Agreed, this would have to be tested with the other options, but I’m guessing it could be integrated, I look a look at the code and I’ve already accounted for the season discounts. Sorry I didn’t have time to comment the code above.Look forward to your future updates! Thanks for the tip on keeping my code intact on update, for now I’m just keeping an offsite copy of the changes.

Hi, I would like to understand well the synchronization of the reservation system with Booking and Trivago. If a room is booked through Booking, does the wordpress dashboard show it to me as reserved? Are they really synchronized?
