I’m afraid that isn’t possible in WordPress. The default sorting can only be changed with php code, such as adding this to your child theme’s functions.php file:

Hello! I’ve disabled Yoast SEO Open Graph generator and switched to theme buid SEO system. It comes in after last update. I want to use Open Graph Meta. It seems that this work great at Twitter and Tublr (I am using auto publishing by Jetpack). Tumbler work even better than when Yoast SEO was handling Open Graph Meta.
Still, Facebook is the problem. It doesnt show images in published posts. Twitter and Tublr is fine.

Yes, i am trying different solutions. It seems that disabling page caching in this plugin at all is best to make auto publicize work. Many users have similar problem. You told once, that You use WP Rocket for demos. Can You tell me do there is such problem with WP Rocket and Jetpack auto publicize? Can You guys just test this module? If I’ll disable page caching, it’s gonna be pretty useless.
Ah I see, it may well be that Jetpack auto publicize and cache don’t work well together. Personally, I wouldn’t use Jetpack for anything else other than the stats module, so I can’t comment much, but you should contact both the cache and jetpack for help on that one, as the theme isn’t involved there 
Hey. You wrote some time before that W3 Total Cache is recommended cache plugin so i switched to this. I had no problem with previous plugin (there was problems, but other kind), so i was kinda confused.
Anyway adding this string as Rejected User Agents in plugin prefferences works for me, as for now:

That would 100% be a plugin doing that. Are you using SEO by Yoast? you likely have the author archive option disabled, that is what happens when you do.
Try adding this custom css to see if it helps:

Yes, I am using Yost SEO, from the beginning. I didnt noticed earlier, maybe it was like that since then. I just changed setting in Yoast SEO. Everything seems to be fine now. Thx!

Strange thing is happening right now. When i am logged in, i see my author site perfectly fine, but when i log out, this link still takes me to the main site. It is happening only on my account as admin. Other authors pages seems to be fine. Cache again?

Hi, I have a couple suggestions for Zeen:
1. The sticky social share buttons disappear on mobile after reading only a couple paragraphs; is there no way to get them to stay on the screen?
2. The Let’s Info Up boxes would be great if they could be float left or right
3. Also if they would be full-width on mobile screens but floating on desktop/tablet – on smaller screens they end up taking up too much horizontal space which makes the first couple paragraphs hard to read.

1- They only disappear at the end of the article, as after that new posts may load (infinite auto next post load feature) so the buttons would change and this way of working makes it very visual to the user what they are sharing.
2- They can if you use the Gutenberg Let’s Info up block

I had a look and you have the option to have mobile post content set to be hidden and show a button with a “show more” to show rest of content. Once you click that, the share buttons do remain until the end of the article for me. Is that not the same for you?
No, that’s the problem. Once I click “Show More” and scroll a few lines, the social share buttons disappear.

You can change the amount of posts to show there in the Theme options > Megamenus, which does affect the image size, that’s the only thing that impacts the size.

I tried everything from reinstalling the theme to disabling all the plugins. I finally realized that the issue was isolated to just the custom blocks where the typography settings and the tipi builder settings for fonts were not showing up correctly (or being applied) to the front end.
I’ve since redesigned the site using the other modules and not the custom block – it works well now.
While I’ve settled my issues, it might be something that you would want to investigate. Thanks!
Also… is there any way to increase, or manage, the font size for the Lets review plugin?

The Let’s Review inherits your theme settings, you will need to target specific parts of it with custom css if you want granular tweaks

Absolutely love this theme – probably one of the best ever themes purchased on TF. Question… I am having a hard time setting up a SUBSCRIPTION FOR NEWSLETTER. I see I can add it on the secondary menu next to social media icons, and I see it can pop up as a side bar pop-up — however in the theme documentation I see nothing regarding setting this up… ? To set it up, you simply need to install a plugin for your desired newsletter service, for example, if you use Mailchimp, you’d use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/
Then in the plugin you’d create the subscribe form and hooking it to the service, you’ll then end up having a shortcode. Simply copy that shortcode and paste it in the location you want to show it in the theme, such as in the popup or slide in box, etc.

Este mes de noviembre se cumple un año desde que usamos Zeen en nuestra web, y no podría estar más contento. Previamente usé Valenti durante 4 años, de este mismo desarrollador, y estábamos igual de felices. A día de hoy solo veo unos pocos matices en los que tiene que evolucionar, pero solo mencionaré el que me parece más crítico, pues me está causando verdaderos problemas: las páginas AMP y sus funcionalidades. Zeen se ve magnífico, precioso, en la versión móvil de mi web, me encanta. Pero cuando cambias a la versión AMP… es literamente, horrible, y esa es la que sirve, por ejemplo, Twitter por defecto, o a donde llegan nuestros lectores desde Google.
Aquí un ejemplo: https://www.nextn.es/2019/11/fire-emblem-three-houses-ventas-comparativa/ Y su versión AMP: https://www.nextn.es/2019/11/fire-emblem-three-houses-ventas-comparativa/amp/Por ejemplo, el texto bajo las imágenes, no puede leerse, porque carga la versión “más grande” de la imagen, en lugar de una específica para poder verse de forma correcta en móviles.
Además, en la parte superior de la versión AMP, se ve una banda gris que no puedo cambiar en las opciones de ZEEN (donde la tengo configurada de color rojo, pero no respeta ese valor). Sumado a eso, las imágenes no se ven centradas, y es un caos. Es decir, de ofrecer una versión preciosa con ZEEN, al cambiar a AMP… todo se destroza. Y es cosa del plugin oficial de WordPress, pues con otro plugin todo eso se ve bien, pero genera errores de cara a Google.
Además de eso, AMP permite mostrar comentarios en sus páginas desde hace tiempo, y es una característica que estoy deseando ver en la versión AMP de ZEEN.
Desde hace un tiempo, el plugin oficial de AMP permite mejoras, pero creo que no son compatibles todavía con ZEEN. Ahora están los modos Lector (o modo clásico), Estándar y Transicional, que parece que son más adecuados para lo que cualquiera podría querer ofrecer con AMP, pero no son compatibles con ZEEN; al activarlos, el diseño de la web (incluso fuera de las páginas AMP), se rompe.
Lo ideal sería desactivar AMP, y mostrar la cara más bonita de nuestra web… y si no fuese tecnología de Google, lo habría desactivado al primer día de uso. Nuestro sector en concreto, se mueve mucho por AMP, así que creemos que sí nos afectaría desactivarlo.

Un gusto saber que has disfrutado de Zeen por un año! El header de tu sitio en AMP debería estar en color rojo, pero algo está agregandole CSS extra y poniendole ese gris (no es del theme). Intenta desactivar todos tus otros plugins por si alguien lo está haciendo.
El problema con AMP es que tiene un limite de CSS de tan solo 50kbs, por lo tanto un theme está sumamente limitado en lo que puede hacer visualmente. Es un limite muy tonto de verdad, cuando consideras que una sola imagen pesa mas que eso.

¡Hola Codetipi! Muchas gracias por tu respuesta. Ok, ya vi qué era lo que añadía esa línea de CSS, era el plugin “Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP”, que he desactivado, y parece que funciona todo bien).
Por otro lado, ¿por qué crees que se muestran las imágenes sin redimensionar? Si miras desde móvil la segunda URL que he puesto verás que añade la versión más grande de cada imagen, rompe la estética y no deja ver el comentario bajo la imagen. Además, muestra las imágenes alineadas a la izquierda, en lugar de centradas. Esto no es problema en móviles, pero en pantallas más grades, como tablets, sí es más visible.
Por último, y aprovechando El apartado AMP de ZEEN debería tener un espacio para agregar el código de anuncios automáticos. Adsense te dice que hagas esto:
“Inserte este código una sola vez entre las etiquetas <head> del código HTML de su sitio web AMP. Esta secuencia de comandos cargará las bibliotecas de amp-auto-ads pertinentes.
<script async custom-element=”amp-auto-ads” src=”https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-auto-ads-0.1.js”> </script>”
Luego dice:
“Copie y pegue este código justo después de la etiqueta de las páginas de su sitio web en las que quiera mostrar anuncios. La colocación del código no refleja la posición del anuncio.
<amp-auto-ads type=”adsense” data-ad-client=”ca-pub-XXXXXX”> </amp-auto-ads>”
Y claro, no hay apartado en el tema para agregarlo, sino es por medio de un insertador de código, con el que puedo meter código en HEAD y FOOTER, pero no en el BODY. Creo que ZEEN debería tener una opción para cubrir de forma correcta este tipo de anuncios en páginas AMP, pues los anuncios automáticos son los que más rinden.

Le eché otro vistazo y la razón la imagen es mas grande es debido a este codigo css (no es del theme):

No tengo idea de donde viene eso, pero creo que es del plugin mismo porque :root:not… es código muy especifico!

¡Hola Codetipi! Por lo que he podido comprobar, ese código lo genera el plugin oficial de AMP. He desactivado el plugin, y activado el del creador Ahmed Kaludi, y el código desaparece (con ese plugin, las imágenes se centran y redimensionan, pero da otros errores). He mirado en otras webs de WordPress que sé que utilizan el plugin AMP oficial, y también se encuentra ese mismo código.
¡Hola Codetipi! He seguido investigando, y hablando con los responsables del plugin AMP. Dicen que el problema debe al “page builder”, que añade atributos a las imágenes, o eso dicen, me han dicho que pruebe a deshabilitarlo, pero claro, es algo integrado del tema.
Por otro lado, he encontrado una solución para los anuncios automáticos de AMP, que puedes recomendar a todo aquel que te pregunte por ellos No hace mucho, Google lanzó un plugin llamado “Site Kit by Google”, que sirve para conocer varias estadísticas de los servicios Google, pero también permite incorporar el código de Adsense a toda tu página, lo que incluye el código necesario para que aparezcan anuncios automáticos de ADSENSE. Así que con este plugin, se pueden tener estos anuncios (y todos los automáticos) sin insertar ningún código en ninguna parte. ¡Comprobado!
Útlimas pruebas de hoy: lo siguiente que me han recomendado los responsables del plugin AMP ha sido probar con otro tema, para ver si eso ocurría. ¡Y solo pasa con ZEEN! Con otros temas, las imágenes en AMP se redimensionan correctamente. He mirado en el apartado CSS personalizado, lo borré, y sigue igual (he restaurado otra vez lo que tenía), he desactivado todos los plugins, y todo, y nada, lo único común es ZEEN.

Por desgracia no tengo soporte para abrir ticket Pero puedo demostrar que es algo que pasa con ZEEN dese hace bastante tiempo. Mira por ejemplo, esto es una instalación vieja en una web para pruebas:

He hecho pruebas con todos los plugins desactivados, solo dejando los de ZEEN y el de AMP. Mira esta imagen:

Ah ya veo, si parece que Zeen tal vez necesite extra código para ayudar con eso, pero lamentablemente es necesario que abras un ticket en el sistema de soporte y compartas el url y info de admin para que el equipo de soporte pueda investigarlo en mas profundidad y ver que se puede hacer. Porque por algún motivo, en el sitio demo de Zeen no ocurre este problema, y tampoco ocurre en mi versión de Zeen local, y es imposible investigar si no podemos recrear el problema.
¡Hola! Claro, si no tengo problema de pasaros los datos de mi web de pruebas en un ticket, pero lo malo es eso, que para abrir un ticket tendría que contratar el soporte, y la economía la tengo fatal de verdad .
De hecho me encantaría poder abrir algún ticket, ya que creo que son cosas, como esta, que le pueden estar pasando a otros usuarios. Por ejemplo hay un problema de un ticket antiguo que abrí cuando tenía el soporte activo (“Error “Aq_Resize.process” con Let’s Review”), que me disteis la solución en su día (actualizar parte del código de class-lets-review-frontend.php), porque lo ibais a solucionar en un futuro, pero tras cada actualización de Let’s Review tenía que actualizar el código, porque el error no se solucionaba; con la más reciente versión de Let’s Review, la modificación de class-lets-review-frontend.php no funciona, y vuelve a generar cientos de errores en error.log, estoy pensando en regresar a la versión anterior, pero claro… Por supuesto, e insisto, me encantaría reactivar el soporte, pero me es económicamente imposible.
Eres dueño de Let’s Review también? Si es así, tienes soporte válido para el plugin? si es así, abre un ticket para el problema de Aqua, porque el plugin ya no usa Frontend como antes, por eso modificarlo como antes no te funcionaría.
Sí, bueno, está integrado en ZEEN, ¿no? Es decir, que no es que haya comprado licencia del plugin aparte, sino que viene integrado para todos que compraron la licencia de ZEEN. Por lo tanto, si intento abrir ticket, ocurre lo mismo.
De verdad que me gustaría echaros una mano para resolver el problema de AMP y de Let’s Review, que creo que también podría ser interesante porque le estará ocurriendo a otros usuarios de ZEEN, pues me ocurre lo mismo también en la web de prueba, de la que puedo compartir con vosotros los datos de acceso. Dado que puede ser bueno para todos los usuarios del producto, ¿no hay otra forma de solucionar el problema sin soporte activo?

No, you don’t need to create pages or redirects! You can simply edit the WooCommerce Category and use the Tipi Builder straight from in there! I just tested it an saw that WooCommerce changed something and that’s why it wasn’t working, but it has been fixed now. In the next theme update it’ll continue working as it used to

Ah you meant sharing buttons! The theme doesn’t have that option, but there are quite a few free plugins that can do this for you, such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/sharing-sidebar-by-profitquery/

Would that not be a good solution? It would mean you can use Zeen and have floating share buttons. The theme has floating social icons for desktop only. For mobile there is sticky social share buttons (they appear at the bottom of screen on a post), but on desktop generally speaking visitors don’t like lots of floating things, so that’s why the theme doesn’t have it as an option. But installing the free plugin is the same solution as the theme doing it

WordPress 5.0 officially deprecated (retired) shortcodes! Which means themes/plugins shouldn’t create new ones. Now you can use Gutenberg for simple things like code text. There is a block called “code block” that allows you to do that. Zeen is fully optimized and compatible with Gutenberg too
Um, okay, one more question. The features of each demo is independent or can you use them all in one?
The features from all the demos were all set by the same base theme options, so you can definitely mix and match all the features you see from the demos on your own site

It’s no problem Yes, you can definitely have sidebars. Some demos have them turned off, but it’s just an option.

It is possible to change the section “RELATED” for the block of related content, of adsense?
Do you mean to convert the related block into an ad? If so, you don’t need to convert it, because there is a “end of post content ad” location in the theme. There’s also a “start of post content” and a “middle of post content” ad locations.
In this demo the “middle” and “end” of post content ads are active:

Of course I do. Everything is perfect. What happens is that adsense has a “related advertising” section where you mix both related articles and advertising. Which could be important for monetization.
It would be possible under “Related” to embed the advertising code of the type: https://ibb.co/Hxf3th0
Ah yes in that case you can simply turn off the Related post block, and then in the “End of post ad” option, insert the Related Adsense code and it will literally look like that

Hello, i have had to stop work on my project powered by Zeen as the categories that i have added are not showing in the Tipi builder, theme seems bugged for some reason.
I have opened a ticket yesterday Thursday early UK time but had no answer so far, it’s now Friday near the weekend & i really cant wait until next week for an answer as i need to work over the weekend.
I notice support questions are being answered here so hence my reason to post in the comments.

I had a look and all 3 of your open tickets have received responses today that explain how to solve the issues you were having (they weren’t bugs in the theme), please remember that the support team work super hard, but when it’s very busy it means responses can some times take 24 hours (mon-fri). However, you will 10000% get a response every time, so please be patient as help will always come.

Is there no way to turn off the secondary menu without choosing one of the header styles that doesn’t have it? I like layout #1 but don’t want the secondary menu.
Edit: Oh I see you have to turn off each option in the secondary menu to make it go away. Hopefully this helps other users.

Happy you figured it out! But yes, most parts of the theme will only output if there are elements inside it active, so to not show a certain menu/whatever, you simply turn off anything that is currently appearing in it. This system makes everything super flexible overall
