I’m facing a few issues now.
1. I can’t create new blog posts now, because controls in the editor are not appearing. Now youtube video has a correct preview and it’s scalable on the mobile.
The only weird thing that controls for each block appears fine in the google chrome browser but in Opera, they appear at the top of the window

Don’t worry, Please ensure that you have Writing Child theme activated, some times the update activates Writing parent theme instead of Child theme. And make sure to update Writing Core plugin from (Appearance > Install Plugins)

Hello, just bought and installed your theme and love it. I’ve used the Pods-Plugin for creating custom contend types for my blog in the past. Now I need to tell the theme to handle those post like “normal” post for them to show up on my blog. I figured out myself what to change with the last theme I’ve used, but doing the same now doesn’t show the result I need. I need to set post_type not only to “post” but also my custom post types. Hello, I faced an issue with the image caption and separator color.
Here is a screenshot of how captions look in the editor:

Now all captions have the same font height as a paragraph and all of them aligned left (but in the editor, they centered)

Another issue is the separator color. I have set up a yellow color in the editor:

Hi. I have the page set to “List with featured post” as the blog style. Now, the featured post font size can be changed which is good but not the listed posts font size below it. Can that be fixed as well? Thank you for help, I appreciate it!

On November 12 I recieved an email informing me there is an update for thee writers blog theme. I go to the download page and download the theme and upload it. After trying to install it I get this message:

Thank you for the link, it seems that the cookie bar is generated by Orbit Fox By Themelsle plugin, to disable it please go to (Orbit Fox > General Settings > Policy Notice > Deactivate)

Yes, Sent. Btw, I’d like to know if it is mobile friendly as well. I mean that cookie box.
Also, I figured out that low google page speed scores of theme can be fixed by optimizing the codes. Those are not related to minify or image optimizations etc…
For example, Remove unused CSS, Minimize main-thread work, Ensure text remains visible during webfont load, etc.
Hope we cant get those fixed as well. Thanks.

Hey there, I would like to report two issues I’ve found.
The first one is that if you have less pictures on instagram than configured in the widget the loop breaks. It could be simply fixed by adding this to the beginning of the loop:
if(typeof media[i] === ‘undefined’) continue;
The other issue is more complicated and unfortunatelly I’m unable to find a solution. instagramFeed is causing a CORS error in Firefox:
Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://instagram.com/crisenos30. (Reason: CORS request did not succeed).
Any chance to get that to work on Firefox? Thank you.

Recently, I have bought your theme and I am using that. But during setting the blog and wright my post, I have some problems of Post setting. When I post type of gallery, it couldn’t show banner. Hi. I am having trouble with something. have installed the Writing – About Me on the sidebar widget. I am trying to upload an image of a logo I have created but whenever I select the “upload” beneath the image box, nothing happens. I cannot seem to upload an image into the About Me template.
