Hello, I just updated to Avada 6.1.1, and it has broken my site—I believe it is Fusion Builder 2.1.1. The entire site goes to error “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” As soon as I remove Fusion Builder via FTP, site comes back up.

I can suggest re-installing the plugin via FTP (you can backup the site first and then add a new copy of the plugin after deleting the current plugin).

There should be no issues with the image upload, please double check this on a default WP 2019 theme and see what behaviour do you get there, if however the issue persists please try and disable your 3rd party plugins and open a support ticket with our team for detailed assistance on this.

I am afraid our support is a bit limited when it comes to copying sites. To clone your site, I can suggest using the “wp all in one migration plugin” The WP all in one migration has been really effective in migrating/cloning site (use this in case you have a create a dev setup with WordPress installed) I am adding a guideline on how this can be done in a few clicks. Guide here

Avid user of the Avada theme found something odd just occured after updating to v6.1.1, I was prompted to update Slider Revolution v6.1.4 – so I did, then I refreshed the live site to check all was ok and a Vimeo video overlay was added to my homepage slider with x2 Vimeo videos!!! What the heck? Why would this happen? Never used Vimeo in the past and never used videos in my slider!! Odd?

Hello, I purchased this theme and it is truly one of the best WordPress themes out there, everything is there. Fusion Live is incredible. I have a question, just cosmetic change on Search box that is built-in WordPress:
How do I customize the Search box’s CSS so that I can change its: - width - height - padding - border-radius - border (thickness and color) - placeholder text
I’ve tried many suggestion I found on google but had no success.

Hi, I have an issue where the text “Your cart is currently empty.” is misaligned with the container, and it looks unprofessional. There is no apparent way to fix this in the theme options or back-end editor, and I have been advised that it will take some dev work to address; however, this is the default appearance of the WooCommerce cart in this theme and not something that I have chosen, can you advise please? I am using the latest version of the theme on WP 5.2.2 on MAMP Pro (PHP 7.3.0). Every time I use Fushion Builder in Live mode, it causes a fatal error, resulting in the “The site is experiencing technical difficulties.” appearing. I have to either reinstall Fushion Builder or the theme files to fix it. Seems to have started when I upgraded to 6.1.

Anyone else having issues with Google’s Site Kit plugin on Avada? I’ve added it to various themes with no issues but when I use it with Avada it either doesn’t work correctly or causes the whole site to crash. :/

Hello Ammar and thank you for your reply. I did read all of your support docs on images (including the one you recommended above) prior to creating my original comment above and I became confused when two of your docs seem to contradict each other.
Doc #1: This Doc (https://theme-fusion.com/documentation/avada/images/how-avada-controls-responsive-images/) makes it sound like Avada will handle Retina using responsive as it states this:
“So in all cases, from desktop to mobile, from one column to 6 columns, from full width to double sidebar pages, we’ll give the browser all information to load the best available image size. And that, for both retina and normal screens.”
Doc #2: And the other document (the one you reference above i.e. https://theme-fusion.com/documentation/avada/images/wp-retina-2x/) makes it seem like you recommend the WP Retina 2x plugin.
Anyway, I will open a support case with the exact details so I can better understand what I need to do.

I am afraid that is actually a misunderstanding, that particular statement you mentioned is actually about the size that will be served to browser on different screen sizes, that is very different than the way retina works, however yes please do open a support ticket for more detailed info on this and we will gladly assist you.

The size of the font depends on the body font size used. Ideally we do not really remove any features but if you have a 7 yrs old purchase of Avada, you would also have support grandfathered.
