hello, I have been trying to install the theme in wordpress. On the page where I’m importing demo data, it does not complete the import. I’m getting this error “Error: Not Found (404)”

I followed your installation video and did all the steps and tried multiple time but having the same issue. please help

Thanks for the message! For the 404 or 503 errors, checking the website/server error logs could be helpful to find out the real reason behind this.

Generally, the data import process works smoothly if the PHP settings i.e. script execution time, max upload size, etc. are quite enough to handle the data upload/import. Sometimes, directory permission issue also can prevent the import process. But all of these errors should be found from the website error logs and then sorted out for the import process done.

About the 5.x.x errors, these are totally related to the server side of the website and to import as expected it should allow posting a bit large size data.

As the import process is managed by using a plugin called One Click Demo Import from WordPress so, looking at the plugin page/forum could be helpful.

hello i have discuss with my hosting provider and they said they have even double my resources but still i am unable to get demo into my website please fix it as quick as possible i am asking from last many days if not possible so please refund so that i can buy something else

Thanks for the message! In our last reply, we described the details also recommended to look into the plugin page for the 5.x.x server related errors.

As you are facing issue from the hosting configuration so, we unable to help with that. The one click demo data import process works smoothly as how you saw on the installation video. If there is any issue with the demo data files then the installation process must failed for us also for other buyers. Also, that should also failed during the theme review process by the theme review team.

We can suggest you to do the setup on your local environment and then export the site and then import in your live site through migration plugin.

Hi,

I am unable to import data, i have reported this issue on a number of occassons but i have been unable to get support. My site is securityvisit.com and i am happy to give you access to resolve the issue please. I have installed wordpress from fresh installs and then uploaded your theme which works to a degree but not all the data is imported. Thanks id really appreciate getting this resolved. Sorry to hear that! But we are not sure why you are saying that you have been unable to get support where we have been trying to assist in all possible ways since you purchased the theme! In other comment threads, we got that you were getting errors while importing demo data and then we asked you to have a look in the error logs and take steps based on that. As you were getting 404 and 503 errors so, basically there might be something happening from the website hosting setup and we replied as best as possible!

Also, we are not sure that you already read the theme online doc! By following that the theme setup should be smooth and quickly without any issues.

Moreover, we replied to one of your emails where requested to share the site dashboard access if you would like us to have a look but the access details we never received!

Please read the theme doc step by step for the site setup. Also, for any issues such as 404 or 503, please check the error details for the solution.

Thanks! Please read the theme doc to have the theme setup and running. But before reinstalling the theme the existing site data might need to be reset. There are lots of reset plugin available like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/. For any errors, please check the website error logs so that they can be identified and solved.

Thanks for the message! The issue is not related to the theme but your local PHP settings. Please read the error/warning carefully and then cross check with the theme requirements.

It seem that you misunderstood our first reply where we pointed out to the PHP settings changes. The issues you are facing due to the post_max_size in php.ini also few other variables.

I also forgot to ask. Woocommerce is stating this at the top of the admin panel “Your theme (StartNext Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce.”

Will this be updated or does it affect functioning?

Sorry but these were very straightforward questions and I don’t need to read the setup documentation. Let me perhaps ask the two questions this way:

1) Does your template support PHP a) 7.0 b) 7.1 c) 7.2? (nowhere do you state this by the way)

2) Woocommerce is up to date and this is the problem. Your templates are compatiple with version 3.5.0 and according to Woocommerce incompatible with 3.7.0. Do you intend to update these templates?

a) Yes b) No

I just purchased this template and need to know this simple information otherwise I will simply return and purchase another.

2. The theme is working with both 3.5 and 3.7 version of the WooCommerce. We will release a new update of the theme with the customized WooCommerce files soon.

How can i show features with different category? In features page “Features Shortcode” show mixed features.. Is this a bug?

Still waiting. I think Features taxonomy is broken. Features shortcode not working. Does not display child elements of category properly.

i have purchased a theme on 27th july 2019 and now WP Bakery Plugin asking to update, when i am trying to update, it is asking for login details for WP Bakery. it must be updated when i am clicking on update. Could you please help me?

Thanks for the message! You don’t need to update the plugin from your website as we will add the latest version on the next update of the theme. But if you want by yourself then you have to buy the plugin and then do the update from the website dashboard.

Also, we always take some time to add the latest updated plugins on the theme due to post release bugs of the plugins. It’s better to wait few days even week until all issues fixed of the latest plugin updates. Regards,
