If you are installing your theme from the WordPress theme installer, but get a message that says “The Link you followed has expired”, this means that your web server is configured with PHP settings that are too low to allow the theme ZIP file to upload.
Specifically, PHP is configured to a maximum file upload size limit at 8 megabytes or less. Thus, the web server is rejecting the upload. WordPress is giving you a rather ambiguous message in response. This is not a theme fault or bug.
There are two ways to solve this problem.
1) You can either get your web host to increase your upload_max_filesize to 32M.
2) Alternatively, you may install theme via FTP:
Log into your web server with FTP client software.
Unzip the fooddy.zip file and ONLY use the extracted /fooddy theme folder.
Upload the extracted fooddy theme folder into /wp-content/themes folder.
Navigate to the Appearance > Themes tab and activate the theme.

Demo data installation fully depends on your server settings.
In case “Demo Data” installation stuck, you can manually install it by downloading the demo.zip archive from our server:
http://demofiles.ancorathemes.com/fooddy/demo.zipExtract the archive to demo/ folder and upload this demo/ folder to wp-content/themes/fooddy directory. After that re-import demo data in admin panel.

Julia, We are very interested in th Fooddy theme, but before we buy we need some information. - How does the admin back end looks like? - From the admin point of view can we print the online orders and assign them to drivers? can we modify orders or add new items in case of inventory shortage? can we take phone orders on your system? - How can we manage to show only a list of items and not the picture? It’s vital for pizza places on mobile, any demos we can take a look? - After we have the theme configure and running, how hard (or easy) do you think it would be to create a progressive web app from the site?

You may try to install any other plugin for that functionality, but we can’t guarantee 100% compatibility, since we haven’t tested it with theme.

– max_execution_time 600;
– allow_url_fopen=on;
– memory_limit 128M (better 256M);
– post_max_size 32M;
– upload_max_filesize 32M;
2) The most common error while installation is missing styles.css file error. It appears when you are trying to install an incorrect package.

Please navigate to Revolution Slider and delete all slides you have (in case if there are presented some).

This error comes from a Wordpress feature included in Wordpress 4.9. It basicaly check for PHP errors upon file uploading in the WP file editor to prevent saving code that could/will break your site.
It’s mostly a plugin (or a server configuration) that prevent the Wordpress loopback check to properly check for potential errors caused by your update. As Wordpress is not able to check whether your new code will produce errors or not, it prevents the code update.
