I am on the latest version. 3.2.7. Appearance > Install Plugins shows it’s on the site and needs an update. When I go to update it says it’s on the latest version (and it’s not). Are you telling me to overwrite the existing theme? Please give specific instructions on how to update the theme if it’s already on the latest version – I am not wanting to lose any content or change any setting at this point. But since it’s on 3.2.7, not sure what you are recommending. Again, it SAYS to update to 6.9.2, but it then says it’s already on the latest version. thanks.
Ah ok if you have 6.9.2 there no other possibility for us to give you the latest version. After this version the company behind the layerslider had decided to leave envato marketplace so our old license isn’t anymore valid.

NO NO. You don’t understand. I am on your latest version 3.2.7. It’s saying I am on 5.6.2 of the plugin, but that 6.9.2 is available. HOWEVER, when I go to update to that, I get a message that I am on the latest version (clearly I am not, since I being prompted to download the latest version of the plugin). Do you understand? There is a glitch that’s not allowing me to update to the latest version of that plugin, even though it’s prompting me to. Can you please advise? Thanks.

You can update the plugin manually:
1. Download the whole Specular Package > Included Plugins
2. Unzip the LayerSlider zip file
3. Upload the unzipped folder into wp-content/plugins/
4. Activate the new plugin.
5. Delete the old Layerslider plugin.

Yes you can change the portfolio slug into Specular > Portfolio config there you can set the portfolio you wish.
After making the change reset the permalink.

I just purchased the latest version of this Theme, have installed all included plugins but not have the Specular menu available to customize the theme. I even entered an Envato token but still nothing. I need to import my theme settings from my older Specular theme, any ideas?

Please try to install the Codeless Framework plugin. The theme option can be found in a menu called Specular into WordPress Dashboard.

Hello code-less, In determining which slide to show for Layerslider de function is_numeric() is used in codeless_slideshow.php as if that function would return the numeric value of the input field. However, is_numeric() returns 0 or 1 for not being numeric or being numeric. And not the (numeric) value of codeless_get_mod(‘layerslider’). This results in no slides to be shown.
It would be great if this could be fixed in a next version. Thanks!

Alas it never got solved. So I just chipped in $40 to renew support (as you can see by the ‘supported’ tag next to my name on this forum). But the support forum insists that I have no support and thus I cannot open a new issue. I already wrote below text before noticing that I could enter an issue but posting it apparently sends it off to nowhere.
Luckily I saved my text before and so I can post it below. Can I please, please, pretty please ask you to follow up on this error?
I’ll check the support forum again sometime later to see if my support renewal finally got through and if so, open a new issue then.

In core file codeless_slideshow.php (line 60 in latest version 3.2.5) the use of is_numeric() causes the Layer slider to fail.
The cause is that is_numeric() returns true or false and not the numeric value of codeless_get_mod(‘layerslider’) which is required to determine the layer_slider_id.

Hello, i need to customize the extra-navigation width. By default it has a width = 300px. I want it to display withh a 100% width (like with the overlay menu option). How could i customize css to have such a behavior…

In fact i want to design in the extra-nav area a customized mega menu with columns, categories…(the overlay menu option only display menu verticaly in one column). So i will just add in the extra-nav area a widget with my menu designed like i want it. Maybe there is another way to have more simply yhe same result??

Yes i know but in the overlay menu you show me, the menu is in one column with an accordion to show submenus.
I want the same thing but 5 columns for my 5 main menus and i want to display the sub-menu below each column.
The overlay menu is not designed to do this by default that’s why i want to to it by adding a widget in the extra-navigation area. Just tell me how to make extra navigation full screen (and not only 300px width)... Thx

You have only to login into Wordpress Dashboard > Specular > Top Header Widget Are and you have to switch it ON.
In the next step you have to go into Appearances > Widget > Top Widgetized Area and add the Widget that you want to show on the Top navigation area.
