I just tried the update to 6.0 and it blew out some of the visual composer elements. Does the child theme need to be replaced, too? What is the secret to installing this theme update?

I don’t know. But in the comments above, someone else mentioned they saw it elsewhere, too. It’s somewhere in the code that’s coming when the update is coming off your server or Themeforest, I guess.

Hello, when I update Wordpress 4.0 to 5.0 on my website aires-paris.fr, the page editor (WP Bakery) doesn’t work anymore. In order to resolve the problem, I have installed Classic Editor and deactivated the Gutenberg editor. But the problem persists. Does the problem comes from the theme or frome the page editor? This template is run by a Visual Composer as an editor/builder right? And I would like to know if the front page is simply editable via pages?
And also can I mix sliders together from different demos? Because I like Political Home 2 but I want the Political Home 3 slider to be applied. Is that possible?

Hi Jazeon. I have never used BBPress. I just saw that our customers use it. It has all features as default BBPress. We Use WPBakery Page Builder and it’s easy to edit pages for sure. When you install demo data, you will get all Home pages and all sliders. You can apply different sliders for different pages
