Hi, I’m very satisfied with your Journal3 theme, after long time realy usefull, full customizable and very good refine theme – it is fact. At this moment just one thing.
I have noticed quick checkout is generating a lot of missing orders without any useful customers data like, name, addres, email or etc so missed orders in this way are unuseful if you cannot contact customer to try finish his order. I have read some comments about this, probably this is not bug but would like to ask.because it need it need liitle change.
Please, is it possible in next theme update to edit the code of quick checkout module to avoid generate missed orders if useful customer data like I have mentioned above has been not filled or the better should be add to quick checkout setting with minimal required customer data when the quick checkout put missed order into the database?

This is how one page checkouts work, a new order is created whenever a customer accesses checkout page for the first time and it’s marked as missing order unless the customer actually finishes the checkout process.

Yes, but is to think or would be better if one page checkout create order for the first time after customer try to send order not just access and if the required fields are fiilled. Customers ofen access checkout page to calculate shipping cost or see payments methods so at this view it is to think, My live store generates a lot of missing ordes daily and unnecessarily in my opinion.
Hi, an order must be created in the database otherwise payment / shipping extensions may not work properly, this is how all one page checkouts work in Opencart.

Hi, skins aren’t available like they used to be so not importable by themselves, the entire demo can be exported though.
You can create as many skins as you want but only entire demos can be exported.

Hi, this is not a Wordpress theme so it will not work there. We have our own header designs seen throughout our demos. We can’t import design elements from other platforms.

I did a test site in journal 3 so I can replace the journal 2 with the 3. now that the journal 3 is complete can I change theme 2 to theme 3 in opencart
Hi, just install Journal 3 on your site and then export settings from test site and import them in your site. To remove Journal 2 from site, follow this guide: https://docs.journal-theme.com/faqs/journal/uninstall-journal2/

Hi, that should be a row background applied on the actual row in the builder (small pencil button seen when hovering over the row).

Huey guys, I like the work you have done on this wonderful OpenCart theme. I have a suggestion for next version to be add abiliti and suppor of “redis cache”. I am forcing all my clients online stores based on OpenCart to use “redis driver” for cache sessions. In your theme you use a vendor class SuperCache that is not copmatible with “redis” cache driver. Also you can add memcached and other caching drivers that other developers using in there webservers configuratins.

Hello, I want to refer an issue in Journal 3 with OC 2.3.0.2, there is a problem with the Responsive Table in Posts, When I add a table to the post, the table does not appear right in mobiles, there is no scrolling left / right.
I do not have valid support to open a ticket, but I am sure that others will face the same problem.

Hi, custom HTML tables are not responsive by default, you need to wrap them in a div element with the “table-responsive” class. For more info please file a ticket on our support page and consult with our developers.

Greetings i wanted to check about this feature for the product page – It will be great to have a 3 column content split (ratio x ratio x ratio) for the content. You mentioned about an year ago that is something you’ve thought about making is it still on the table cus i do notice a lot of sites have it and will not be so cluttered and more nicer for full width sites?
Hi, unfortunately this is not as easy as it seems, the product details section is quite complex and changes to that layout must take into consideration several other elements. We are still looking into this so it may come but I don’t have a specific date.

Hi, sure, you can create menu items and modules specific to user login status. So you can disable links or buttons that point to your blog for guests and only those logged in will see them (and thereby be able to access them). https://take.ms/R3kIE

That is not possible with built in options, not just the button. You can disable the entire blog module, not just the button. For more info please consult with our developers, maybe there’s a custom css solution.

Hello, I am making the maximum effort to learn j3, it happens that with the examples to import I do not find any that leads to my purposes. Ex … I would need the “header” of example 7, with the module “The Bags Collection” of example 4, in addition … the module “New Arrivals” of example 4 also, the same with other modules of other examples … Buying the support, is there any way they can give me the modules I need ready? and I modify the internal (location, images, texts etc.), it occurs to me to export certain modules from the examples, and then import them into my project.
I know it sounds like a crazy invention, but I really can’t move forward at all.
An example of the samples does not reach what I need, so I am lost to enter modules of other examples in one.
Hi, partial imports are not possible at this stage unfortunately, only the entire demo. But you can manually create any modules from other demos in your own custom demo.
So you can start with the demo that has the most modules you want and adapt the other elements.
For example just change the header module to that from Demo 7, which is using the Classic header.
In your admin go to Journal > Header and create a new Classic module, then assign it to the skin in Journal > Skins > Edit > Header > Desktop Header, then edit the module to your needs, add menu modules, styles, etc. Main Menu modules are not part of the header, they are created separately in Journal > Header > Main Menu…and assigned in the header module > main menu section.
