If the dark mode option is enabled, that button will appear automatically in the main menu’s secondary fold up menu. It will be possible to add it to the main menu directly in a future update.

It is possible to upgrade Zeen from the WP admin, you need to set it up though to be able to do it. Check the documentation > Update section. You’ll see all the steps for doing that.

It isn’t a video format, it’s a new block in the Tipi builder. Add it to your page via the Tipi builder and it will work the same way it does in the Volar demo. If you mean the video running in the middle post of the block, it’s simply a standard video post format with the new “Background video” design that you set in the Media Formats tab in the Zeen post options.

There are two ways to update Zeen – the automatic method (in the WordPress dashboard) or manually. To do it automatically you need to set up the update system, did you do that already? Check the documentation > Update theme section for the steps, it’s really easy

Hi, I absolutely love using this theme! I have run into one issue though while using the WCFM marketplace plugin, it is theme based as I double checked by using a basic WordPress base theme and the issue disappeared. On the vendor shop page, the product (featured) image does not appear; instead a blank grey box appears. The featured image appears everywhere else on the site, even the sidebar in the vendor shop. Can you add an option to turn on sound for the background video? I really like the way its autoplay for video post but without sound, I need to add another videoplayer

I’m afraid that isn’t possible! Browsers nowadays block any videos that autoplay with sound on, unless the user explicitly allows it (no normal user will ever do that). Some browsers actually stop videos from playing at all if they are not muted too, so that is why Zeen adds the mute parameter to background videos.

What reviews are you referring to exactly? Is it visitor comment reviews? Because the Let’s Review plugin was updated (make sure you are on latest version via Appearance > Install plugins), but it all is definitely working fine. Try refreshing your site cache too.

Thanks for the reply. I’m referring to the kind of slider selector that visitors could use to leave a review before. It appeared in the bottom of the post, just under “‘YA VISTE ‘MARRIAGE STORY’? DEJA TU PUNTAJE AQUÍ:” in the previous link I sent.
I also updated to the lastest version of the plugin and cleared cache but no luck.

Ah I see, the user rating is an option that needs to be enabled in your review. Try editing the post and confirm if your review is set to “editor and visitor rating” option, then it should output – although in some review designs the user rating doesn’t output and you need to manually add one in your post using the new Let’s Review gutenberg block or the shortcode.

That is so curious, but it’s definitely not a bug, as I tested it locally and it definitely all works as normal. The Let’s Review demo site is running Zeen v3 and latest Let’s Review too:

codetipi, any idea what could be causing classic block thumbs to be using the full size image path?
- It doesn’t appear that any plugins are affecting this.
- Checked functions.php for any forgotten override code, nothing.
- Tested Wordpress Settings>Media>Large and Medium Size as 0/0, 800/800, 900/900.
- Mobile view is successfully using -800×800.jpg
- Cleared all cache
Something else:
- Most images are square, and thumbnail size 900×900 is checked in Customize>Performance.
- The -900×900.jpg file sizes all existed on the server, but after running 3 different regenerate thumbs plugins, that and some other Zeen sizes were removed despite being check in the Zeen options.

The infinite scroll code hasn’t changed at all in v3 – I just had a look at it though and it’s definitely firing a page view on each infinite scroll call, but it’s only for Google Analytics, is that what you’re using?

Yes, for Google Analytics. Quite strange, since when I switched to Newspaper the number of pages/session in GA went up to almost 3x.
You should double check that you are only firing it once per page load. Because Analytics is dumb, you can fire it multiple times and it will add each one to the stats. So for example, if there’s a bug in your code and the GA trigger gets run multiple times, it would show incorrect (inflated) sessions/views.
All I can say is that Zeen’s code is definitely firing fine. The Google Analytics script loads on page load so it tracks everything correctly, and then during post auto-next load feature and infinite scroll (Such as on homepage/category pages), it fires a single pageview for the new url each time it loads, and that’s all it does

Oh I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to help with other themes, you need to look at the theme code to check it or think of a way to test it. I can only vouch for Zeen definitely firing it all correctly
Hey, I have few problems. Theme is updated to 3.0.
- First of all, I’ve enabled progress bars everywhere, but it work only on custom posts form calendar plugin.
- Next, changelog tells about Let’s info up widget update. How I can control output order? I need to paste id for every post, i want here? Cant I just enable autosorting by date added in widget as relase date? It’s still planned option or there’s not gonna be such possibility?
This widget is still kinda useless. It shows only posts with “relase date” set. So if You want to use this often to have actual relase calendar, it’s not gonna work fine.
- Something happend to Let’s review comments. This is how it should look?
also, in menu images dont show stars as before. It is related with choosen fonts?
- Can You tell me how can i change look, for example colours of new page marker icons?

But I have other problem. Descriptions under videos got no any formatting. Descriptions under images looks fine, but videos descriptions look same as other parts of text (body).

However, I can answer your Let’s Info Up widget questions – and yes you will need to manually set your posts if you want to output in a particular order. Because depending on your country, you’ll have a completely different date format + you can change the format in your WordPress settings + you can enter it in an even different one in the actual option, etc, all these different variables make it impossible to correctly order them automatically. Trying to run a WordPress query to order them is also expensive (memory wise), that is why the best way is for users to manually set it up in the exact intended order.

Hey! Thx for answer. No i wasnt changing any blocks, just fonts.
I changed values of Font Combination (1, 2 and 3) in Typography options. There is also possibility to choose specific font combination for Review Numbers in same window, Typgraphy options, but this probably doesnt metter much. Only this has been changed by me. Stars dissapeard from every block and section after font change. Now it seems that no metter what font i choose, i always see numbers there.
That’s so strange, can you try downgrading to an older Let’s Review/Zeen to confirm this was done in an update? Because I honestly can’t remember of any code changes to that. If you can tell me which version it happened, I can investigate it!
I wasnt changing fonts before, just once, after buying the theme and setting up website. Then i changed fonts after last update. Update didnt changed this stars to numbers. This happened when I changed the fonts in Typography Options. Anyway i am not really sure, how to downgrade theme or plugins. I am not proffesional webmaker. Full amateur mode here – thats why i’ve choosen this theme “No coding needed”
If this is problematic, lets just leave it this way. I’ll but more support in next Year, if I’ll get some funds (i have ultra bad time now, my company closed my section just before Christmas, so now every penny is like gold for me). We will get back to this topic then, maybe?
Ah I know, you definitely don’t need any coding skills to use Zeen (you already know that though 
), I meant that as you don’t have valid support, it isn’t possible to properly investigate for you here.
And so if you can help identify when something changed on your site, it’ll be much easier to investigate, as hundreds of lines of code change practically every update, so knowing which Zeen/Let’s Review version it changed for you, I can narrow it down.
Do you still have older Zeen/Let’s Review zip files on your computer? If so, you would need to delete your currently installed Zeen/Let’s Review version on your site, and then re-install the older zip.
If you plan on renewing support, then perhaps you could indeed just wait until then and open a ticket about it.

Thanks again for choosing Zeen
You can import the demo by going to Appearance > Theme set up, but if you only want to test it and play around with it, do that on a test site so you don’t change your live site! If your hosting offers you the “staging site” option, use that to test/play around with.

Currently yes that Video block in the Tipi Builder is for your video posts. However, as you saw with the v3 update, new blocks are added frequently, and there are plans for a new video player block that only needs direct video urls. Until then you can still add a YouTube playlist embed code to a “Custom code” Tipi Builder block too.

If you go to Appearance > Menus, you’ll find multiple designs for each menu item you have a megamenu enabled for. There is one where the menu items appear above the posts. Maybe that one is closer to what you’re looking for.

Ah you’re right about that. The Zeen Play demo is actually SUPER fast too, ySlow on your report gives it a high score. The only reason for the low score for the PageSpeed score is due to one of the posts in the first feature grid loading a YouTube video background. This is the sole reason the score is low, as videos are heavy (and youtube loads lots of extra scripts)! This is a completely optional feature and the video would only load if it is above the fold (visible on screen on page load), as if it is further down the screen it is lazy loaded.
Other speed tests also give it high scores, as they ignore the YouTube embed, for example Pingdom:

Did you manage to get it sorted now? Because just in case someone else is wondering, you simply go to Theme Options > Pages, and you’ll find an option to select authors to show on the team pages. The order you have them added is the order they will output. So you may need to remove/re-add them to rearrange the order.

I’ve tried the Grid Special Hover however it does not show the last articles published although that’s what I’ve chosen in the settings (actually in a normal grid slider it works). What it does is showing those articles published two weeks ago.

Hi, thanks a lot for your response. I tried purging cache and even deleting the plugin WP Rocket. The thing is that this block works showing last articles of any particular category. However, if I decide to show “last articles” it starts showing only those articles published one week ago but not the very last ones. There is always a sort of delay.
It is very weird, because any other Grid shows those very last articles.
