How do I active the mobile version of the theme?

Hi there, I’ve been using your theme for a good few years now and absolutely love it. However, I’ve gone to write a new post today and when I click “Add new” or even try to edit an existing post, it just leads to a blank screen. Can you help?

Are you trying to use Gutenberg by any chance? If so, for now install the “classic editor” plugin to fix this. The theme will receive a minor update soon to fix the Gutenberg quirk

Silly question! When I view the Live Preview and go through the shop section, upon clicking proceed to checkout – the page goes blank. How would this work? As a second question – can I create 2 separate shops?

When you say Live Preview, are you referring to the live Valenti demo? Because if so, I just had a little test and the checkout page works fine for me. Or are you saying it’s on your site?
Regarding 2 separate shops, I don’t think that’s possible in WordPress and WooCommerce, you’d need a separate WordPress installation to have a second independent shop.

Regarding the email, payment, ssl and merchant questions, that is all 100% Wordpress + WooCommerce functionality, not something a theme can help with. Please contact WooCommerce support for those things, as only they can really help you with them.
As another user in comments, I got “A non-numeric value encountered in /web/htdocs/www.keptun.com/home/test-site/wp-content/themes/valenti/library/core.php on line 1597” this happened in v. 5.4.0, then I updated to v.5.5.4 but just the line of error changed (1444).
I solved changing the code from this $cb_user_score_output= $cb_user_score / 10; to shis $cb_user_score_output= absint($cb_user_score) / 10;
Anyway I don’t know if is right solution, so I hope in an update that solve the problem in the right way. Thanks

Hello great work,
I’ve a question please , I can’t figure out how to add a gallery to my home page, I followed your video in the doc. but when I add a post to Valenti drag & drop builder , it show a blank area , when I click it send me to the actual post ( but I need to show the post in the home page ) 2- post select by name never work for me ( doesn’t display the list of posts )

Hey Emad,
Sure thing – so are you saying you have a gallery post you want to feature on your homepage? If so, you could also give that post a “tag” called “Featured” or similar, and then in the options of one of the modules of the builder you can set it to only show posts that have the “featured tag” to show it.

Hello , thank you for your answer, that’s the problem , I can’t see my post tags in the tag filter of the module of the builder and even if take it by category , it show just a place holder for the post on the homepage , I have to click on the post to be redirected to the post page

You’re welcome and happy to hear that It’s under heavy development right now, so it’s hard to give an exact ETA – I’ve learned to not say dates as the very nature of coding is so fickle, it can some times (often) taken longer than a set date or be a lot sooner!
I’ve come back to find out about the new update that was set to be released, is it still on the roadmap?
I’ve seen the release of a Zeen is it the replacement for Valenti? It seems familiar to it but with a lot more spacing and wider frame rows.

Thanks for checking in Valenti v6 is under heavy development at the moment! But Zeen is not the replacement for Valenti – Zeen is another independent theme by Codetipi. Zeen has options to control site width and a lot of the spacings around so you can make it as wide as you want.

It’s still under heavy development, as it’s such a big code rewrite, it’s taking way longer than anticipated (code can be so fickle!), however, Valenti will get a medium update soon to make it compatible with PHP 7.3, Gutenberg and remove any notices (WooCommerce notices, etc).
Have no worries though, Valenti is alive and kicking and has a bright future ahead of it

Not at all. The v5.6 update fixed everything I mentioned (Gutenberg, WooCommerce, PHP 8.0 compatible, etc ,etc), it was a HUGE update that improved everything.
v6 will include multiple demos and a demo import system, that will be the biggest difference with v5.6

That is possible in Valenti if you use Let’s Review, which you have already mentioned you both, so yes you can definitely do that with Valenti + Let’s Review. The theme already comes with the plugin’s API code integrated, so it will all work out of the box.

I’m afraid it isn’t possible to test a theme before buying it. But please ask all the questions of everything you need to know and I’ll answer them as best I can.
I can at least say though, that I do remember multiple Zeen users using Zeen for their websites with videos and podcasts

Thank you very much! I loved the Zeen theme. One question however: There it says “Grid for Twitch livestream”. Could it be also Youtube livestream?
It’s no problem!
And currently there isn’t a YouTube livestream block in the Tipi Builder, however, for YouTube Live, I think you can simply get the embed code from YouTube and put it on your site and that’s it. The Tipi Builder has a “custom code” block where you can insert embed codes like that so it should work just fine.
Try embedding a YouTube live link on your current site (inside a post somewhere) to test, if it works there, then yes it will be possible to add it to your homepage too.

Can the certificate be issued automatically when the person finishes the video?
Is it possible to make a rental system? For example, the person has access to the course for one week, and after that permission is withdrawn.

Hello codetipi, I solved the previous problem, but I wanted to ask you 2 things. Yes it has, but because you have changed support platforms, I can no longer access the answer that was provided. To renew support costs $45 which I don’t think is fair given I asked this question before and paid for it, and becuase you’ve migrated to a new system I can’t see the response.
OK I found the original response buried in my emails.. stupid me. Thanks anyway. One other question I had – is changing menu colour and the bottom border of widgets (under the title) is that Custom CSS or is there a setting somewhere to change it? I’ve looked in the manual and couldn’t see anything. Thanks.
I understand, but support is a Themeforest requirement, if you need any kind of theme support, you do need valid support to ask. It’s not a Codetipi thing though, it’s how every theme on Themeforest has to operate. This is the last time I can help without valid support as it’s not fair on users who have support – but you assign colors to categories and the theme automatically uses that color where relevant. That doesn’t right at all, no one has ever reported that before! Can you tell me what browser you are using and what operating system you have too?
In regards to speed, Valenti is fast, but Zeen is as fast as you can really get at the moment. Valenti v6 will come with performance boosts to improve it too, but right now, Zeen is the one with outstanding performance results

I’m using google chrome and my os is windows 10
also, I’ve test 15zine and Zeen and they don’t that problem when we do scrolling.
It’s so odd, I can’t recreate it at all! Can you try in an incognito tab or on another system?
Im thinking about moving to another theme for pagespeed reasons. (i use wpml and your theme is not fast with it, others are, ye i have cashing and cdn etc.)
Will the future theme be much faster, and will it be released within a couple months?

The theme is very fast and to be 100% honest with you, themes can’t actually affect page speed too much, there are much more important factors that affect the scores and they have nothing to do with the theme. The theme already does everything it needs to do to be optimal, the rest of factors that affect page speed are 100% due to your site set up, such as: Number of plugins, optimization of images before uploading, number of images on your site, CDN, caching, server speed, homepage set up, expiry headers, gzip, minification, etc, etc.
The new update will help improve performance overall (such as come with inbuilt lazyload), but the truth is, the biggest factors to improve speed depend on you as the webmaster, they aren’t things the theme can actually control/change.

Ah don’t worry about that, you don’t need Sidekick any more. It was an external service for video tutorials, but the company got bought out and the new owners discontinued Sidekick. It has been removed in the upcoming Valenti v6 update.

Good afternoon,
I have had a problem since I bought the theme and could never solve it.
Whenever I do a search, it gives the first page with the right search, but when I move to the second page it gives me the homepage.
I already checked the code and everything is apparently correct. Your test site is also fine. I have already disabled all plugins to check for conflicts and the problem persists.
Have you had similar problem feedback? Do you know how to solve?
