- We need to decide which videos are accessible by whom. We need to be able to easily manage their rights and give or revoke access rights to certain videos. - Our client shouldn’t be able to download the videos. - Support of Camtasia smart player (if not possible, adobe captivate is okay as well) - Quizzes after each video - Forum integration (BBpress) - A support module where clients can ask questions privately (which WordPress plugin we would use isn’t known yet) - We want to be able to see who watched which movie for how long

I contacted you but it seems that your support manager knows nothing about Wordpress. He offers me to change admin dashboard language while I asked him several times about translating website, not the admin panel. It’s not by chance that there are 2 different settings, which are not connected to each other. The manager already has got access to my admin panel, so he could easily check if this stupid idea works before suggesting it to me (and see that obviously it doesn’t), but he prefers to give this useless advice instead of real help. Do you have another support manager who can help me (not Huyen Anh)
Seriously, here is his answer: “We checked again and the translation file will get admin panel language so we recommend you should set website language and admin panel language are the same language.” Let’s for a second imagine that it is true and to change website (frontend) language I need to change admin panel (backend) language. Then this reply means that I cannot use this theme with different languages for admin panel and website itself, which is the basic wordpress option. So that means that this Wordpress theme is made in a very wrong way.

I am disappointed by the reply I received… None of your suggestions in the below email is the real cause of the issue… This seems to be a prefabricated reply and I am even doubtful if your team had a look at my site! As I mentioned, currently my site is having ONLY the out of the box installation of your theme + the W3 Total Cache.
As per Page Speed, below are the issues…Apart from Server response time, none of the other opportunities are dependent on host.
Opportunity – Eliminate render-blocking resources (4.59 s), Remove unused CSS (2.1 s), Defer offscreen images (0.6 s), Reduce server response times (TTFB) (0.46 s), Serve images in next-gen formats (0.45 s)
Below is the reply I received from you… If you recommend dedicated hosting for your theme to properly perform, why is it not mentioned in your sales pitch?

– A strong host is important.

The speed is very good.
This is after many optimizations + multiple optimization plugins (The theme still loads 85%+ unused CSS for every page load).
Also, I will have to do manual configuration using an optimization plugin to unload unused css and js from every single page/post type. Doing that brings down the HTTP requests from 40+ to just 10+ for a normal page. Apart from this, WPRocket helps with caching and loading Critical CSS.
Anyways this theme is not suited for anyone using a shared hosting and is a newbie to wordpress who values site speed and an optimal user experience.
Only an experienced developer can optimize the speed in this theme.
For all those who are stuck out there with a slow loading Eduma theme, this is what I did to improve the performance to acceptable levels…
1. Decide what functionality is really required (Forum, WooCommerce, Membership etc). Remove any plugins that is not required.
2. Use “Asset CleanUp” plugin to optimize pages by unloading unwanted js and css from Pages/Post Types.
3. Use “WP Rocket” plugin to help with Caching. They use a Critical CSS Loading concept which Google loves.
However, despite all this… we will still be stuck with atleast 250KB of CSS that are loaded but not used anyway. I have not found a way around this yet.
Of course if you have the means, use CDN to deliver the static files. It might shave off a second or two from the loading time.

Hi, Congratulations for making such a good theme. Before i purchase this, could you please confirm following:
1- Can i use this theme for my training academy? I do not provide online trainings. 2- Can i use the events plugin in your theme to show my upcoming trainings? 3- If someone buys the event ticket, would the admin know which course the user has taken? Does it show the event date automatically? 4- If a course is purchased, does it show on front end how many slots are left? 5- Can I have my upcoming event dates as a selection drop down in the buy event ticket and buy course form? So I know which date trainee has booked for? 6- If a course or event is selected, does it show in the cart icon?

When registering Send a confirmation link to the email, but when you click on the same link, it takes the user to sign in, it does not allow you to add a new password (you are not leaving new users registration).

Hey guys! Thank you for this epic theme! I have been trying to figure out a way to list categories and tags for EVENTS (not courses), to where the front end users can search events by categories and tags (just like they can with courses). I see a lot of old references in the comments where this has been requested and promised, so I’m guessing it’s possible now, but I can’t seem to figure it out. I understand you can’t necessarily answer it here, and I’m not sure I’m supposed to put my purchase code here, but let me know how to resolve this please.

Really sorry to bug you again! I’m having an issue with Elementor loading the edit pages. Get’s stuck forever.
If I click “safe mode” it works but then if I edit it in safe mode and save the changes, the page formatting gets all screwed up and I have to roll back the revision (which undoes all changes).
It does not appear to be a plugin conflict though.
Also, the Christmas sale says “SpeedUp Support”. Does that mean you guys will manually analyze the site and optimize it for faster loading times?
