Hi, is it possible to have a different font colour for the header menu links on different pages? The home page has a full screen background image with the header overlaid on top (with white menu links), however subsequent pages will have a white header background (so the white links won’t display). newbie question: i am going to buy another license and going to install it on an exiting site that uses another them (hotec) and the theme is using it own builder and so on, so i wonder what i should think about when installing Avada will all the settings from the other theme populated in to avada?

You can always create a proper backup using a backup tool and no matter what change you or theme make, it can be reverted back after applying that backup again

Hello, I’m trying to generate a Masonry Portfolio page for a video portfolio. All the posts featured images are 16:9. My brother has a website using a purchased AVADA theme with the Photography Demo. He wants his website changed still using AVADA but he wants me to use the Classic Avada Demo. I have my own purchased copy of Avada so I installed it on my website in a subdirectory so he could see the progress of what his website will look like. Now that we are ready to change everything in his site, I was reading about changing demos and removing old demos and all that and I am a bit confused as to exactly which is the path to follow. Basically, He has purchased plugins that must be kept on his site, WP Bakery Page Builder (required for his Flip Book plugin to work) Any suggestions.

To begin with, we would not suggest removing a demo from a site that has been already built. Removing a demo, will uninstall theme options, set pages, widgets. Also if content in the site is being made using WP Bakery’s page builder then Avada will not load the content in their builder’s format. Any demo content imported will have fusion builder content and it will not really render in the WP Baker’s page builder. If you flip book plugin is using a shortcode then you can add the shortcode in Avada’s text block and try to check if the content does render correctly.
If you still want to uninstall a demo, you can do this by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard → Avada → Demos (you would see an option to remove the demo when you click on the demo that you have added)
As a precaution, please do ensure that you make a complete backup of your site which can be restored

Thanks so much for the reply. From what I understand from what you wrote is that basically I will just have to rebuild the entire site. I kind of figured that after reading about things, was just hoping there would be an easier way. Your quick answer helped though, as I was still putting the finishing touches on the demo site for him and so now has a better idea of where I am going. If I need any help in a couple days once I begin that process, I will make a ticket for you. There is only one page employing the WP Bakery Page Builder, the one with his FLIPBOOK on it. I am reasonably certain I can just export that one, but if not it is easily re-created.
So I guess since I have what will be his new site created on my own server, I’ll just go on ahead and uninstall the demo and start from scratch again.

I decided just to do a full site migration. I employed Duplicator from the Wordpress Plugin Directory and everything went swimmingly. I simply deleted his Wordpress installation files on his server and dropped the DB Table in PHPMyAdmin to have a a clean DB for the Duplicator Transfer. His site is now re-created with the Classic demo he wanted and it literally took 2 minutes. Thank you so much for your help, I probably would have spent hours fixing things had I not asked first and had you not replied. Great Service!

The plugin can not be used as builder element as it would not really be coded specifically for the Avada theme. The plugin would provide shortcode which can be added in a text block element of Avada to render the plugins content

As for a plugin, there are quite a few available in the WP repo, https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/webp/
We have not really tested them but any plugin with good coding standards should work well

I have a site with Avada Theme installed in https://demo9.dev.uoi.gr and when i try to edit it with theme live builder i get the error 503 service unavailable
Looking at the logs i can see the following:

My problem is that my support period has passed. Although this is not a personal support issue, this is a technical issue. In this server there are a number of other wprdpress installations that work quite fine. That is why i asked you and not assume that it is a server issue. So what can i do now ?

Hello—is there a shortcode available for the main navigation, or a plugin I could use to help with that?
The plugins I have tried so far have not allowed me to replicate how I’ve set up the Avada menus.

There is not shortcode for the main menu. Avada is compatible with the ubermenu plugin but we are not quite sure if ubermenu can be used just for one page (you can check this with the plugin author)
You can try looking the horizontal/vertical menu widget by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard → Appearance ⇒ Widgets. These menus can be added in the page using the widget element

I like fusion builder CSS automatic optimization, but it’s creating a “fusion-*.min.css” every few minutes.
